I hope you guys enjoyed my first recorded match of Operations! It was actually not the very first match of Operations that I played (although close), but it was the first that I recorded. I used to have an early version of the intro script where I explained this, but I removed that part from the final version to save time. In hindsight, I see that removing this explanation makes it seems like this was my very first match of Operations, so I've pinned this comment just to make it clear that it was technically not. If you guys have other suggestions for maps or game modes, feel free to let me know.
Operations is one of the best game modes to ever come to Battlefield, it just relies on good balance to be fun. Even losing can be extremely fun if it’s a hard fought battle. I would say having your first match on Monte Grappa was maybe a bad first impression since that map is inherently difficult as an attacker without the right tactics. Maybe give the game mode another shot on St Quentin Scar, I love seeing you post BF1 :)
Thanks, I'll be on the lookout for that map. I thought Monte Grappa was pretty fun, although it was difficult. Technically, this was actually not my very first match of Operations, but it was the first I recorded. I played one full match a week or two (or three?) before this match, also on Monte Grappa and also as the attacker, where my team did a lot better (I can't say the same for my own performance, though, heh). I used to have an early version of the intro script where I explained this, but I removed it to save time. However, I could as well have played the map for the first time in this match, because I found myself on many new places that I never saw on my previous time on the map. I also think I dipped into a few minutes of Operations on another map, if I remember correctly, although I don't remember which one it was.
Yeah, tons of maps are very difficult as attackers, especially since waves are shared. So for this operation, you’ll only have 3 total waves to go through 2 maps. Some maps are way harder than others for attackers OR defenders and it’s definitely worth playing more to see what you enjoy :)
@@diabolical_bagel Ah, so different maps have different number of waves and areas/maps? I'll have to try out the other maps, as well as trying out playing as the defenders.
I'm not good in any game-mode, heh. Not because of the game mode itself, though, but rather because I can't aim for the life of me. It is so strange to me, because I didn't have a problem with aiming in BF1943.

Still the best Battlefield game to date.
I can see why a lot of players have this as their favourite Battlefield game.
I wasn't very good at this mode either 😅
