I'd never keep the original flooring or paint in the container. It's typically treated with pesticides and other chemicals, so if you value your health, it should all be completely stripped before building the space out.
wooden floor in containers are for strength l would think , do disperse weight of cargo and wheels of forklifts , so wave steel iron under will not buckle , and to make floor smooth for driving and moving, just guessing

you could EASILY paint/decorate the exterior for cheap to make this look a lot better, but what an amazing job!

some say you have to remove the floors or seal them cos of pesicides in them, rubber seals too

why need to add support structures... containers can hold itself up to 20t and can be stack up. Look at maersk biggest container ship...

If there is, you could easily ground the structure for safety. The interior will be insulated anyway.
