Thank you for the video. I had a problem where the rollers that the belt ride on, have rubber that grips the belt, and the rubber melted off. I bought replacement rollers and managed to replace one very easily. The "drive" roller on the other hand, just can't figure out how to change it out. Fortunately, that roller still has some rubber so I will use it for now. I was wondering if you could make a video or direct me to someplace that can explain how to change out that roller. Thank you
I just bought one...and I can't figure out where the sanding belt should align....should it align with the roller or the platen? I start it exactly on the roller and after I sand it moves over to the right edge of the platen.
Ran great last time I used it last month, took off the shelf to use today and no power to it, makes NO sense. Not power source because I checked the outlet and compressor running on it right now 🤔🤔
The problem I'm having with mine, it gets very hot quickly. The the dust and finish I'm removing turns into globs, gets under the belt on the plate, and on the rollers throwing off alignment, and tearing up belts. If i go painfully slow, don't apply much pressure, and give it frequent breaks to cool and shake the dust out it last for a long time. It kind of defeats the purpose. If i go a little too fast, i have to clean everything and put on another fresh belt. . Do other belt sanders need this my babying?

If you don't like how long the cord is you can always open up the tool and rewire it with a longer cord. 😄
use an extension cord
Have you ever noticed the belt drift outwards no matter where the screw is set?
Yes. Mine does that. I have the tracking set too much in one direction, because the paper always pulls in the other direction.
I find that it bogs down easily and stops spinning the sandpaper
My sander belt keeps sliding off during use. I can’t figure it out!
My rigid keeps clogging. Whats the remedy?
Hello, The belt keeps popping off there is no guard or clip to hold it in place all in all it's not a bad sander!

...i always keep it moving around to minimize the heat on what I am working on.
Try using a lower grit instead!
@@toolamanjaro929 So you're saying I should go slower. Wish I'd thought of that.
For a little more money you can get a lot better sander or spend half and get the skil
