Great video, that catch at 2:09 was spectacular.
Going for two to take the lead instead of kicking it to tie will always one of my favorite aspects of football. It’s so tense and I love to see it. That LSU vs Alabama one last year was insane.

“And the fan goes wild” (but seriously surprised re: attendance especially since it was homecoming)

WCU is super isolated compared to other schools in the region, and the football program is historically pretty bad. Honestly it’s always surprised me that their stadium is even as big as it is lol

Division I-AA football is awesome. Back when I lived relatively close I would go to The Tomb regularly to watch UC Davis. That was back when it wasn't on TV nearly as much.
Now I get to see highlights of games like this. I'm truly blessed.

if there was no school logo on the field or endzones you could not tell whether this was in Tennessee or North Carolina...delicious road win! 🐾

And this is why you don't go for two with that much time remaining. It puts a desperation atmosphere on the team behind.

There are more college games played a year than NFL (32 teams vs 130+ in FBS alone), and there’s way higher variation in talent. The worst NFL defense vs the best NFL offense is not nearly as big a disparity as the worst vs best in college. Those two things combine to make extremely high-scoring blowouts and barn burners. You don’t typically see these types of scores between evenly matched conference opponents, though it does happen on occasion.

Looks like defense isn't a recruiting priority at these schools.

He had to kick it successfully twice because they used a timeout the first time he went for it. It was pretty hype

Fsu fan here but ever since that spring season in 2021 I’ve been paying close attention to fcs football, It’s fun to watch with a lot of close games and good teams especially the Dakota schools. (I used to be a hopeful FSU fan but I changed my username) Go Noles! 🍢
