Happy to see you reacting to this criminally underrated Terminator sequel I like this sequel regardless of what people say about it. Plus the ending will pull the rug from under you.
T5 made T1 and T2 not canon and the return of James camron with T6 was a big disappointment especially how he tried to basically erase T3-T5 but T3 was better than that garbage T6 that james camron made
Hi Carol, brilliant reaction to this, I enjoyed it, I love your reactions. This is a decent sequel and although nothing was going to be better than T2, this was the next best thing. Arnold Schwarzanegger worked out for 3 hours a day for 6 months to get back up to the body build he was when he did T2! Please continue with the franchise and react to Terminator: Genysis - it's an alternative timeline to the original movie but is still good and worth watching. Arnie's back :)
I never understood why people say not to watch this movie. Yes, it's no where near as good as the first two movies, that much is obvious. BUT, it is a damn good action flick with incredible action set pieces AND it is a pretty decent enough Terminator story that does something different (which is end the world, which I guess is why people hated it). Arnold is so fun in this one. And while the rest of the cast is fine - John Connor in this is seriously miscast sadly. He's fine overall in the movie but he is not "John Connor" really. The TX is a fun twist, but very underused overall until the last act of the movie really.
People can tell you that a movie isn’t there favorite in a series or why it wasn’t as good and that’s fine. You can ignore ANYONE that would tell you to NOT watch a part. Ridiculous.
The others start fucking with the main timeline and one of the later pieces of garbage even subverts it making these first 3 movies meaningless. Yeah, you can defend shit like that if you want.
@@remo27 there’s nothing to defend. Yes they were made because you attach a known title and some will rush to see it and automatically expecting greatness. If it’s a complete waste of time then I get it, but if there are things done well that people can enjoy then let them experience it and rate it on their own.
Unfortunately, it is unfortunate that certain people have such bad taste regarding this film because that means that when you react to it you already have a preconception. In my opinion, this film has better effects, it has more action and it's definitely much better acted than the second one, it follows the timeline of the first two and above all we can see how it all started, that is, how the machines took over for the first time. the control of humanity. For me it is even better than the first two. Without further ado, I send you my best regards.
I tend to hold t3 in the regard as being a part of the overarching story we got in the first 4 films before they shyt the bed with reboots. So in that sense, I loved t3
This movie wasn't bad at all, it just suffers in comparison to the first too. There were a few missteps and bad choices, and it clearly lacks Cameron's sure hand. Salvation...has issues, and of Genisys, the less said the better. Dark Fate wasn't miserable at all. The TV series is really the continuation of the first two and returns to the darkness and desperation of The Terminator. I think one of the problems that the sequels have is that they each try to be bigger and more bombastic than the last. The TV series concentrates a lot more on character development, the implications of time travel and the dilemmas that Sarah and John face as they try to fight an ever evolving Skynet.
As someone who doesn't like most critically acclaimed movies 95% of the time, I'm the first one to skip a needless sequel, but this was a decent effort. The ending here was the best IMO from all three of the original trilogy, as it showed no matter what, eventually the machines would rise up. Having a women as the Terminator was always going to be the next iteration as that's how Hollywood works, but she did a great job as being a soul less killing machine. As for the movie overall, I'm fine with sequels so long as they add to the character/story, vs ruining what was before or just flat out crapping all over it(Disney SW, looking at you). The story here added a good deal to John's backstory and I felt it was done well. The only movie movie in the franchise I saw after this was "Dark Fate", and yeah, I would very much pass on that one. As that does what I just described as being a no no, brought nothing new to the table and and pooped over everything that came before.
This one is my personal favorite in the franchise it's criminally underrated thanks for doing it. As for judgement day being inevitable it makes perfect sense given that's how T1 set it. So the explanation isn't lazy T2 changed everything that was set in T1 and narratively T2 makes no sense. All T3 does is correct those errors and puts things back in place.
Since you continued with 3. I recommend you check the next one terminator salvation. Its actually really good and its based in the future, on the ongoing war.
I highly recommend that you watch the TV show, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It came out after Terminator 3 but only ran 2 seasons. It was an exceptional show. Sarah learns of her untimely death in the future passing due to leukemia. Unlike Terminator 3's timeline, Sarah prevents that timeline from taking place when she decides to quit smoking. The series ended just before Terminator: Salvation came out in theaters. -OG
The big circular thing that the tx gets stuck too is a particle accelerator. It uses high power magnets to control particles. It's used in science to fire particles at each other for varying scientific reasons. Why its at a us army base in the film I have no idea haha. Terminator salvation is also OK as an action film
Yeah the 3:rd one isnt bad. Its just that when you compare it to the first two.. Its not iconic in any way. Its not James Cameron who made it either. So not the same feel to it. But its an ok movie you can watch if you have nothing better to do.
Its not that bad of a movie if you dont want it to be a part of the cameron universe thats fine because its not. Remember in thr first movie reese says one possible future there are so many timelines. The original timeline is best but its not aweful.
Thank you for watching. I'd recommend watching all of them, even T5 & 6. I love T3, T4 & The Sarah Connor Chronicles. See for yourself, you're halfway there.
The original actor for John could have been cast, but he sadly had "lost his way" in real life and wasn't suitable. I think it's a good film, a well worthy entrant in the Terminator series, thanks for reacting to it! :)
Maybe it's because I've been Claire Danes fan ever since I saw Polish Wedding, but I really liked this movie. It has its problems, like the terminator controlling vehicles that don't have the actuators to shift gears are steer themselves. The first two movies also have paradoxes, like sending your farther back in time to impregnate your mother or cyberdyne sending the Terminator back that becomes its own original source technology.
----- - Great reaction... I hope that you for the sake of continuity, decide to watch the rest of the saga/franchise. The summary/review at the end is a nice touch, 'cause it's more than just a question about whether or not you liked the stuff that you watched. It's also very interesting to hear the reason(s) as to why you think/feel the way you do about the things that you react to... -----
39:56 In extended lore, the liquid terminator from the 2nd movie was essentially a giant liquid brain, capable of eventually developing its own line of reasoning, awareness and individuality. Skynet stopped making them for that reason. I think it showed glimpses of that on screen in those interactions you mention. So while the terminatrix is technically newer, it was inferior, or superior if you are Skynet, in that regard. Now, if you ask if all this was known and considered during the writing process of T3, I have no idea! It's just fun world building that adds to an already interesting universe!
It is not a horrible movie, its main problem is simply that it wants to be the sequel to the masterpiece that is T2, and that was always going to be a terribly hard act to follow. Also, it has certain subtle continuity problems with T2, such as the age of John Connor in that movie. T3 may be regarded as 'fan fiction' by another writer and director than James Cameron. If you find things to enjoy in it, well and good, but we don't have to regard the movie as wholly canonical.
Terminator 4 is definitely worth watching. After the first and second films, this is probably the best sequel. Yes, Arnold didn't star in it, but there are plenty of other good actors there. The adult John Connor, played by Christian Bale, was shown there very well, unlike John, who played Nick Stahl in the third film
Great reaction, Carol! 👍😊 I recommend that you watch all of the Terminator movies, because they each advance the storyline more and you get to find out how the future changed according to what happened in the previous movies. 😊 There are some naysayers who will try to talk you into not watching any of the sequels after T2, but I think it's weird that they wouldn't want you to watch a film just because they didn't like it. Especially since they have seen all the Terminator movies, and they just don't want anyone else to enjoy them. Also, I encourage you to watch both seasons of the "Sarah Connor Chronicles," because it shows how Sarah raised John.
The 4th movie isnt really bad. The issue with it is that its a very diffrent seting and not really a standard sceen for sceen recreation of all the other movies. Terminator 4 is not a terminator movie in the clasic sense, but more of a war movie with terminator setting
@@lewisner Well.. the story could have been better. But i would say a major flaw of the movie is that it was made in the dark period. Where everything suppose to be griddy and dark, so you can´t see what happening. Say like the Brown or the blue period before or the yellow period after.
Great reaction Carol. I have really enjoyed the Terminator movies just for what they are .. fun. I will not compare them to the first teo as those are epic especially T2. Arnold really didnt want to do this movie especially with James Cameron not involved. AS asked JC about that and JC told him to ask for as much money as he could get(a record $30M) and do it. Which he did.😊
I like them all T1 Insane T2 Best Everything T3 Comedy, nostalgia I have driven on the same roads on the edges of Downtown LA, but really it's just because of Claire Danes.
It’s NOT that bad because it’s literally a rehash of T2 shot for shot almost lol. There’s a video on TH-cam comparing the two. I still enjoy T3 but it’s a far cry from the perfection of T1 & T2 💯
Carol you amuse me, because you remind me of Anna from Butterfly Spanish. T1 - Best Premise T2 - Best Story and action T3 - Best Humor and most destruction
Well technically the second movie doesn't count as ''An original'' also. Only the first movie is the original and this is simple a sequel just like the second one. But the second Terminator is one of those rare moments in which the sequel is better compared to the original and therefore it is highly regarded. Also if you intend ( and I hope you are ) to watch all Terminator movies do keep in mind that not all of them connect to each other. As a matter of fact it could get confusing. So because of that I'll post a little list of which movies are connected and which are stand-alone as of the latest movie. Just keep this list in mind if you intend to watch them based on order of release. - Terminator - Terminator 2: Judgement Day - Terminator: Dark Fate As of Terminator: Dark Fate these 3 movies form a trilogy. It basically removes/retcons Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines effectively removing it as a sequel. - Terminator: Rise of the Machines As of the latest movie this movie which you recently watched can be considerd a stand-alone movie set within a different continuity. - Terminator: Salvation While technically stand-alone and set within it's own continunity you could in theory see this as a sequel to Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. - Terminator: Geneysis. Completely stand-alone and set within it's own continunity. It was meant as a soft reboot.
This movie fixes issues in the storyline! Yes, the first two are superior, but you can’t have technology getting developed because it came back in time from the future, which those movies imply. It has to be created first in order to come back from the future. And if the future really is prevented, as the second movie states, how was John ever born in the first place? It’s this movie that makes it all make sense. Skynet was created, initially, because that’s what we humans do. In the first movie some tech gets left behind which only means that the new timeline sees the development of Skynet happen more quickly. Destroying the future tech, and all the research that they could in the second movie, only delayed the inevitable. There was always going to be people trying to develop this kind of technology.
I didn't think it was THAT bad. I appreciated the fact that it continued the story. That being said, I thought that both John and Kate were miscast, and I did get second-hand embarrassment from some of the attempts at humor, however, it was all worth it just to see Dr Silberman get up and f****** run when Arnold showed up.
I think you said it perfectly. The first two worked so well because of good writing and direction. I think the way #2 ended, they intended that to be the last one. Then they saw how much money #2 made and thought, 'Hey let's do it again!' #3 was good, entertaining, but yes, the writing was not as good.
The T-X (female Terminator) used the gun initialy because her primary built in weapon takes time to charge, her plasma cannon is more suited against something like Arnie-s T-850
It's not that bad simply because T2 set the bar too high but it is still an underwhelming sequel. You can tell by watching it that the people who made this movie simply didn't understood Terminator. Terminator wasn't supposed to be big, loud and dumb action movie with forced humor like they threated it with this one. I blame the screenwriters and the director of the movie the most for this mess. The idiot director simply doesn't get it. He stated that he wanted to make a Terminator movie because he was blown away by T2 when he saw in a theater so he simply made a lazy, dumb, over the top rehash of T2.Typical of the action movies in the early 2000's.
I liked the next one "salvation" but many people don't like it I think you should watch it the next one ruined things for me and I did not watch dark fate.
Greetings from Finland girl!!! Definitely yes you should check out Terminator Salvation witch is the best sequel after judgement day if you ask me!!! Fun fact that the gas station is the same in all the first three movies!!! "i'll be back" 😎
Hi. I'm Jarno. I was 17 when T2 came out. I FULLY agree. I thought it was a nice movie altogether. The one BIG mistake was the casting of John Connor. Remember John in T2 saying: 'You called 'moi' a dipshit?' ... remember his face when he said that? ... THAT is John Connor
Man, Genysis gets such a bad rap. I absolutely LOVE the action in that movie. Some of the best action in the series, seriously on the order of T2 imo. The twist would have been much better received if they didn't SPOIL it in the damn trailers though. I don't have a problem with how they changed things, since it was a rebootquel setting up a new trilogy. Dark Fate was also quite a fun action romp, and Linda Hamilton alone is worth the price of admission. Changing things yet again for a new trilogy was fine but it wasn't handled in the best way, also the opening with you know what - people hated that (while I was alright with it, considering Genysis lol)
Arnie/Terminator says - "you didnt stop judgment day, you only prevented it, judgement day is inevitable" there is your explaination, about how a 3rd film is possible,
Hey Carol. Ever heard of T-2.5? The Terminator 2-3D Battle Across Time. Did anyone experience this? It was a themepark attraction that continued the story with the same Director and main cast. It's pretty bad but worth watching (it's like an alternative T-3 mini-movie, made on a much lower budget and without the same level of passion.. Maybe even worth reacting to? It's only about 20 minutes long. Loved your reaction, Thank you. I Can't wait to find out what you have in store for us next. :)
I'm seeing your reactions to these all in one go. I loved just now seeing you enjoy the first two movies, but this one is my favourite. There are many reasons why i love this one best, i'd be lying if i didn't say one of those is i fancy the terminator in it lol.
I hate this movie for at least three reasons: - It doesn't make sense from the very beginning: They prevented the creation of Skynet in the last movie. Period. And the existence of T3 devalues the entire T2 storyline. - They distorted the character of John Connor, turning him from a resourceful and charismatic future leader of mankind into some kind of pathetic weakling. - They turned the key message of the previous movies, "There's no fate but what we make for ourselves", to the exact opposite - "This is our destiny, and nothing can be changed", which is a real mockery of Cameron's concept.
Those are three very, very good reasons! And its why many arguably insist that there are only 2 Terminator movies. But when you think about the "fate" factor, there could be no judgement day to stop in the first place unless there were an actual Skynet to begin with to build the original Terminator that was initially sent back in time. The time loop was inevitable. James Cameron's free will concept was an illusion. Also, John's character may have been made weak on purpose in order for there to be some future character development like in the case of 19yo Sarah Conner from T1. But I always thought it was an odd casting choice to have actor Nick Stahl play Conner. I guess no one else was available including Edward Furlong. And Claire Danes was another weird casting choice though I loved her in "Homeland". But T3 without Sarah Conner (mainly because Linda Hamilton refused to reprise the role) is hardly a real Terminator film. More like an offshoot of the franchise to keep the money rolling in. Yet I still think T3 is better than the other sequels that followed. Kudos to Carol for at least giving this one a shot.
@@x_trio_3_po333 "James Cameron's free will concept was an illusion." I disagree. The destruction of the Skynet project in Cyberdyne and the death of Miles Dyson broke the time loop. "John's character may have been made weak on purpose..." But he showed leadership qualities in T2, there is no logic in making him a wandering depressive loser in T3.
@@SokolRock Except that in T1 we are told by Reese that there are "many possible futures". And clearly this was one of them. Also, Schwarzenegger didn't think the time loop was broken or else would he have never agreed to reprise his character for this film. As for Conner's character, he could have easily suffered from PTSD as a kid after the events of T2 thus making him weak and only a shell of his former self. His military maturity isn't revealed until after the inevitable judgement day. But if you insist on living in a world with only two Terminator films and a TV series, I've got no real bone to pick with you.
@@x_trio_3_po333 Look, we both know that the only reason they kept making Terminator movies after the logically completed T2 plot was $$$. The original cut of T2 even had an ending in the future, directly showing that this is it, the end, and Cameron didn't use it in the theatrical version only because he felt that it was not tonally connected to the rest of the movie.
carol, you skipped over the greatest tv show, the Sarah Connor Chronicles, it takes place between the second and third movie, it shows her trying to stop Skynet from being born
It's not bad. It just contradicts the premise of the first two movies. No fate but what we make. In this day we learned that judgement day and the rise of the machines is inevitable. So everything from the 1st two movies was pointless.
Precious reaction:💯 Terminator 2 was telling us the AI was coming back in 1989, terminator 3 is telling mankind that AI is here and is taking over. You can see back in 1989 when terminator 2 came out Ai was not here yet you couldn't talk to the radio like people do now that lady to change songs, you couldn't talk to cars and they move or do what you say. There not robots taking over jobs or robots as waitresses in restaurants Now we got phones that can do anything and cars that can drive themselves. We got robots that can talk to humans and robots that help children with school work. Robots learning from people. Terminator 2 if you think about it told us this was coming over 35 years ago, now it's here. Terminator 3 is saying Ai is going to take over we can slowly see it coming if you paying attention. They put stuff in the movies real messages. skynet is really like Ai attacking mankind off towers power grid..... Subliminal message there if people can think outside the box. God makes sure everything is exposed but yet people are still in a transe. AI is not of God bm
"Is it really that bad?" This movie says John Conner, the famous leader, who taught people how to fight back against the machines, who people would die for, actually didn't do anything or know anything he could teach to anyone. It was all the random daughter of a general no one ever heard of. Astoundingly the stupidity of the franchise just keeps doubling down after this.
Kristanna Loken is such a good actor, she respected the terminator IP greatly, and thus she agreed without any hesitation to do the n'de entrance time-portal scene, as that's one of terminator's IP themes, and she also played/acted like a terminator (robot/machine-movement-acting-etc) really well too, much better than arnold does as a terminator, and arguably better than the guy who did the liquid-metal terminator in T2, and she also was quite intimidating/scary as a terminator too, on top of moving/acting like a robotic/machine terminator as for the movie, it's enjoyable, and it really doesn't have any major flaws, probably the only thing that really actually hurt it is coming after T2 being such an incredible movie, it just couldn't match that, but what could? Oh, one other (possible) negative with it, is that they did the same scenes and etc format, ya, thus keeping it "consistent", but I think most people wanted it to be more different and not repeating the same scenes and format, at least back during that time, but now, I think we appreciate a movie keeping the same scenes and format a bit more also, in the dark knight, how batman uses his bat-cycle and the cable cord to flip joker in the giant semi-truck over, it likely came from this movie's similar scene of the semi-truck flip over
T2 is the best one but T3 is my fav and T3 has the best vehicle chase scene out of all the terminator movie even better than the short chase scene in T2
No, this film is not bad. Its not as good as T2, but its not bad. It has reputation, since people were disappointed of it. Its understandable reaction. T1 nobody had expectation. It was hit. T2 people were slightly optimistic and it blew the bank. It garnered huge fandom, third one was put huge, huge expectations and when it was not met, it was given bad/ flop etc rating by people. Same principle is shown kids, when they want that one toy for Christmas and beg it for months, once they get it, its not like they imagine and throw it away after few days. This film has one major weakness and its unfortunately how script made John Connor look like. Depressed alcoholic running away... Certainly you would have trauma what would happen, but still... They could have written Connor much more compelling way. Like Nomad on the move, prepared, having nightmares but still willing to help people. You know, good old Renegate (Tv show) style.
This is actually my favourite Arnie film. This and The Running Man are the only Arnie films in my top 100 movies. Sure the first two Terminator films are in my top 200, but for me at least this is far better than either of those.
If it wasn't for 2003 being a rare year that decade for great films this would have been my favourite of the year, instead (still in m top 50 movies) but 4th in 03 behind Final Destination 2, Love Actually, and Kill Bill Volume One.
All the Terminator movies after 2 were cash grabs, when James Cameron came back for Dark Fate he picked up where he left off and connected it to Terminator 2, so for continuity sake Dark Fate is actually Terminator 3
there are limits to what's possible in sequels,(especially for a 3rd film) I think Cameron would have made this 3rd film darker more violent, BUT he couldnt have made anything that was more original. the films faults are- too kid friendly not in the sense of watering down, but for the corn lines like "talk to the hand, & the Elton john eye glasses after the stripper act that didnt work as humour. having established who was who in T2 it was hard getting used to these new characters & a different John Conor, this didnt feel like an...over lap a continuation very much, where as it could have.

In my opinion, this film has better effects, it has more action and it's definitely much better acted than the second one, it follows the timeline of the first two and above all we can see how it all started, that is, how the machines took over for the first time. the control of humanity. For me it is even better than the first two. Without further ado, I send you my best regards.
thanks carol for reacting to terminator 3 and don't over look terminator salvation and the others because you will enjoy them too.
they are shit
I tend to hold t3 in the regard as being a part of the overarching story we got in the first 4 films before they shyt the bed with reboots. So in that sense, I loved t3
I am so glad you decided to continue watching the saga. Amazing reaction, Carol!
GREAT REACTION\!! I really enjoyed the review in the end :)
Great reaction as always. Keep up the good work, Carol! 😍
Terminator salvation is also OK as an action film
another great reaction!
Anything that is not Popular this century is Probably relatively good, at least. ; )
Thank you for watching. I'd recommend watching all of them, even T5 & 6. I love T3, T4 & The Sarah Connor Chronicles. See for yourself, you're halfway there.
Connor*
@@flexydex8754 gracias
Terminator 2 spoiled us. Changing out John Connor in this and not having Sarah in it also didn't help matters at all.
The original actor for John could have been cast, but he sadly had "lost his way" in real life and wasn't suitable. I think it's a good film, a well worthy entrant in the Terminator series, thanks for reacting to it! :)
I liked T3. Now, Salvation and Genysis are junk you can skip them. Dark Fate is fun, sorta picks up from where T2 left off
Nice review it was a good movie 🍿
Maybe it's because I've been Claire Danes fan ever since I saw Polish Wedding, but I really liked this movie. It has its problems, like the terminator controlling vehicles that don't have the actuators to shift gears are steer themselves. The first two movies also have paradoxes, like sending your farther back in time to impregnate your mother or cyberdyne sending the Terminator back that becomes its own original source technology.
-----
- Great reaction...

I totally agree.
agreed!
This is the progression of pretty much every large movie series.
1: thriller
2; action
3: comedy
4: tradegy
I thought T4 was great visually but the story was incoherent.
@@lewisner Well.. the story could have been better. But i would say a major flaw of the movie is that it was made in the dark period. Where everything suppose to be griddy and dark, so you can´t see what happening. Say like the Brown or the blue period before or the yellow period after.
27:48 those are her little cousins
Great reaction Carol. I have really enjoyed the Terminator movies just for what they are .. fun. I will not compare them to the first teo as those are epic especially T2. Arnold really didnt want to do this movie especially with James Cameron not involved. AS asked JC about that and JC told him to ask for as much money as he could get(a record $30M) and do it. Which he did.😊
I like them all
T1 Insane
T2 Best Everything
T3 Comedy, nostalgia I have driven on the same roads on the edges of Downtown LA, but really it's just because of Claire Danes.
It’s NOT that bad because it’s literally a rehash of T2 shot for shot almost lol. There’s a video on TH-cam comparing the two. I still enjoy T3 but it’s a far cry from the perfection of T1 & T2 💯
Rehash shot for shot? What? 😂 That’s hilariously ridiculous.
It IS that bad, you just have trash ass taste
@@GeorgeTropicana And you fail to represent why a generic is as good.. at ya username.. I still prefer the og Tropicana as such :D
Carol you amuse me, because you remind me of Anna from Butterfly Spanish.
T1 - Best Premise
T2 - Best Story and action
T3 - Best Humor and most destruction
I highly disagree I think this is the best one the action and how amazing the effects were but I respect your opinion
I agree. Any recomendation for Carol's future viewing?
- Terminator
- Terminator 2: Judgement Day
- Terminator: Dark Fate
As of Terminator: Dark Fate these 3 movies form a trilogy. It basically removes/retcons Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines effectively removing it as a sequel.
- Terminator: Rise of the Machines
As of the latest movie this movie which you recently watched can be considerd a stand-alone movie set within a different continuity.
- Terminator: Salvation
While technically stand-alone and set within it's own continunity you could in theory see this as a sequel to Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
10, john is 10 in T2
Maravilhosa como sempre 🤩
I didn't think it was THAT bad. I appreciated the fact that it continued the story. That being said, I thought that both John and Kate were miscast, and I did get second-hand embarrassment from some of the attempts at humor, however, it was all worth it just to see Dr Silberman get up and f****** run when Arnold showed up.
T3 surely can´t compete with the first two but that doesn´t make it automatically bad. Nice shirt by the way, greetings from germany 😉😁
True that! Thank you!
It is fine as a movie, it just isn't fine as follow up to T1 and T2
I think you said it perfectly. The first two worked so well because of good writing and direction. I think the way #2 ended, they intended that to be the last one. Then they saw how much money #2 made and thought, 'Hey let's do it again!' #3 was good, entertaining, but yes, the writing was not as good.
The T-X (female Terminator) used the gun initialy because her primary built in weapon takes time to charge, her plasma cannon is more suited against something like Arnie-s T-850
Is It REALLY THAT BAD??? no, it's much much much worse.
“The other one” is named T-1000. Come one, Carol. He’s the most iconic Terminator villain.
Sorry 🤦🏻♀️
I think i like this one a tad better than the second one.
The tv series takes place between Terminator 2 and 3.
Just discovered your page from Pulp Fiction. Great job!!!! Yes a lot of haters on #3, but I love it.
Thank you so much!! 😊 I’m glad you stopped by to watch this one too! I really enjoyed this movie too!
pls watch them all ull love Terminator 6 as it links back to number 2
Well.. like terminator 5.. and 4 ... and.. well technically also 3... and of cause. Sara coner cronicles.
Totally disagree I went to the theatre twice to see this movie it's my favorite t2 is my second favorite
Yes they created a system and it has a mind of it's own and Ai took over it, skynet
"i'll be back" 😎
Carol, if you watch the tv show, the Sarah Connor Chronicles, i will like each video you do for each episode
Hi. I'm Jarno. I was 17 when T2 came out. I FULLY agree. I thought it was a nice movie altogether. The one BIG mistake was the casting of John Connor.
Remember John in T2 saying: 'You called 'moi' a dipshit?' ... remember his face when he said that? ... THAT is John Connor
your English is so good! for how long have you been living in Canada?
love the reactions too
If you want to keep this story going you can watch “Genysis” and “Dark Fate”.
“Salvation” is a prequel that can be watched whenever at this point.
@@LordLOC and it’s even better in 3D.
Wow Wookie this is really cool! I’ve never heard of the Terminator 2-3D. Thank you! I’ll check it out!
I'm seeing your reactions to these all in one go. I loved just now seeing you enjoy the first two movies, but this one is my favourite. There are many reasons why i love this one best, i'd be lying if i didn't say one of those is i fancy the terminator in it lol.
4 movie better. World of machine, match more interesting (no schwarzenegger) but not bed, from story telling perspective
I love Arnold, I grew up watching him like a hero, even the bad movies are good with him in them! 🙏
I hate this movie for at least three reasons:
- It doesn't make sense from the very beginning: They prevented the creation of Skynet in the last movie.
@@x_trio_3_po333 "James Cameron's free will concept was an illusion."
I disagree. The destruction of the Skynet project in Cyberdyne and the death of Miles Dyson broke the time loop.
"John's character may have been made weak on purpose..."
But he showed leadership qualities in T2, there is no logic in making him a wandering depressive loser in T3.
Minha mãe me punha nessa droga no tendão de aquiles
34:02 you seriously just can't be patient and wait and find out if he comes back
carol, you skipped over the greatest tv show, the Sarah Connor Chronicles, it takes place between the second and third movie, it shows her trying to stop Skynet from being born
Kristanna Loken is such a good actor, she respected the terminator IP greatly, and thus she agreed without any hesitation to do the n'de entrance time-portal scene, as that's one of terminator's IP themes, and she also played/acted like a terminator (robot/machine-movement-acting-etc) really well too, much better than arnold does as a terminator, and arguably better than the guy who did the liquid-metal terminator in T2, and she also was quite intimidating/scary as a terminator too, on top of moving/acting like a robotic/machine terminator
as for the movie, it's enjoyable, and it really doesn't have any major flaws, probably the only thing that really actually hurt it is coming after T2 being such an incredible movie, it just couldn't match that, but what could? Oh, one other (possible) negative with it, is that they did the same scenes and etc format, ya, thus keeping it "consistent", but I think most people wanted it to be more different and not repeating the same scenes and format, at least back during that time, but now, I think we appreciate a movie keeping the same scenes and format a bit more
also, in the dark knight, how batman uses his bat-cycle and the cable cord to flip joker in the giant semi-truck over, it likely came from this movie's similar scene of the semi-truck flip over
my terminator ranking:
(best)
1. Terminator 4: Salvation
2. Terminator 2: Judgement Day
3. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
4. Terminator 6: Dark Fate
5. Terminator 1: The Terminator
6. Terminator 5: Genisys
(worst)
The T-X Terminator is the best Terminator in my opinion, she was just as relentless as the first two and she was classy, destroyed with style🤣
😂😂😂
T2 is the best one but T3 is my fav and T3 has the best vehicle chase scene out of all the terminator movie even better than the short chase scene in T2
Parabéns pelo canal Carol...inglês tá muito bom!!
Obrigada ☺️☺️
I looked up cringe in the encyclopedia and there was a still from this movie. 😂 it’s so bad, it’s basically a parody.
Oh never mind!
Best line ever.
She's a Terminator Terminator!
You know, good old Renegate (Tv show) style.
the film was the logical consequence because somehow john's father has to come after 1984
REACT TO A MASTERPIECE THE SCHINDLERS LIST' GREAT FILM,SAD 🆒🙏🇪🇦
Hola 😮
carol, all your questions about skynet will be answered in the tv show, the Sarah Connor Chronicles
This is actually very Great film. I loved it as much as the other two since my childhood.
T3 is a toned down version of T2, on every levels : filming techniques, acting & emotions, special effects, soundtracks, script.
T3 is still awesome.
This is actually my favourite Arnie film. This and The Running Man are the only Arnie films in my top 100 movies. Sure the first two Terminator films are in my top 200, but for me at least this is far better than either of those.
My favorite terminator because I love Clare Danes. Actually my favorite Terminator is the TV series because of Summer Glau.
T1 Horror flick
T2 SciFi Action Adventure
T3 Tragic Comedy
T4 Who Cares
Yes its really that bad. Arnold too old , no Sarah, limp humour and painting by numbers CGI. I didnt care at all about "John" or the girl.
