I'm not a huge fan of Hot RC. My CT8A transmitter from them is 75 days old and already it's broken. It has phantom inputs when i turn it on, goes 60% reverse throttle. Hot RC has no online presence except Facebook. I don't know if they'll help me get a new one.
The rog1 transmitter is rebranded dumbo rc. The omni terminator is rebranded HOTRC, however they do not work with actual HOTRC stuff. They one offed the transmitter and receivers. Maybe try talking to Rlaarlos customer service. They are really good about making things right. At the very least they might give you a discount code.
There is a super weird thing with chinese brands prices when I get them in Japan. A Wltoys or even MJX that is let's say 100usd will eventually sell for 10000yen here, which is very ok and close to the price in China. However in the specific case of Rlaarlo 100usd end up as 15000yen. Somehow they manage to keep their chinese and export markets isolated. I guess that they keep the export market for themselves and don't allow shops to resell outside.

I just got that one online for exactly 100usd (incl. coupons). I really doubt the rlaarlo version is gonna be under... 159.99 with promotion sale?
@Hungrybird474 The truck had a missing bearing on the Hub when I first got it. When I first upgraded the ESC and Motor on the Terminator, the CVD snapped almost immediately. It could not handle the power and gearing. I have installed the "upgraded" CVDS on the front but I have not bashed it hard since the upgrade. Hopefully the upgraded CVDS help. I personally, am not a fan of smaller platforms for bashing. I think the Terminator would be amazing if it was a stadium/shortcourse truck with smaller tires for the track. The concept of the truck is amazing and well thought out. It just needs beefier options for power and real bashing. I am exited for the Gladiator. I will probably run it stock a fee times and do a complete overhaul to compete with my upgraded MJX 14-210 GT conversion.
I’ve never had any issues or problems or complaints with my Terminator but I do have the “Black Carbon Fiber” version, I don’t know if you have that version and maybe it’s just that version that has those issues or maybe the issue is with both the Alloy (Green) version and the Carbon (Black) version and I’m just lucky but I’ve never had any problems at all other than I still think it’s a little on the slow side taking into account that both their 1/14th scale models go a bit faster? I just might end up removing the 3s system that’s in it and converting it to 4s? I have a Hobbywing 4s combo that I might put in it. I’m still debating that conversion? 🤷🏻♂️👍💯

By far the best RTR 1/14 scale RC out there, amazing lil truck, very fast and durable. Excellent value for money.
That CVD looks a bit thin probably why it broke. Looks like a very detailed truck otherwise . Mini Terminator !

@peteroman4297 I have the Carbon Edition as well. I think the rally car will work out way better than the Terminator.
