THIS IS THE MOST WONDERFUL AND AMAZING TRAVEL DOCUMENTARY I HAVE EVER SEEN!. THANK YOU. - I watch all your Venture Boats trips (Aleutians, Alaska, British Columbia, Europe, Ireland, England, California, Idaho, New York). All videos are properly edited and perfectly presented. All landscapes, scenes, nature, blue sky, grey sky, deep blue sea make me feel so good. I enjoy watching all your videos (on my 72" flat screen TV - SONY) all time, every weekend from my home in Los Angeles. Even though I am not fortunate like you to circumnavigate the globe and travel on own boat, your sea journey and wonderful voyage videos have brought many delights and good feeling to me. We all ordinary people are grateful to you (Gratitude) for your generous and wonderful presentations. Thank you.
I do enjoy your videos and hope you have many to come. Alas, some do make me homesick. I from Alaska and love the beauty of the Northwest. Big change from here in Georgia, hot and humid. Retired now and doubt I'll ever get back there so your videos have a special spot in my heart. Thank you and God bless.
Very good and informative video. It is a nice way to virtually travel at a time when actual travel is difficult. Thanks for making and posting these videos.
Exotic, soothing and peaceful ! It's always a pleasure to watch your videos! Beautiful places that we ever get to see only through your eyes and descriptions. Thanks a lot for sharing and hope to see more such in the future! God bless! ( From India)
It takes me back to late 60’s when Iived in Port Alberni and wandered the west coast between Bamfield, Uclulet and Tofino. Great times great memories. Thank you for the memories Tony.
I really appreciate the efforts and expense you took to document this trip. Absolutely gorgeous scenery. I used to live on the Island, and have motored through some of the areas you toured. Albeit on a much thinner budget than you have. So I really enjoyed this reminder of where I have been in years now gone by. Thank you very much!
Breath-taking all the way through! Immense beauty!!! Thank you Mr. Fleming and Crew for allowing us on this wondrous journey that you have shared here!!
Always makes me wonder who (and how) are these people living on far furlong places (water front cottages on secluded small islands), how they socialise, what they eat (how and they get their groceries and other essentials), what’s their source of income, etc. Just so many questions. I wish I could travel up to those places and find out 😊
It is fairly tough to gather their groceries. They have to fight the wilds of Safeway parking lots. This is the west side of Vancouver yes not a lot of people but on the east side and south is around 8 million people between the cities of Vancouver. Victoria Canada and Seattle Washington. Vancouver and Seattle are less then 100 miles apart with their suburbs. It would be a 1.5 hour ferry ride to the east side of Vancouver Island then a roughly 2 hour drive to the west side of Vancouver island. On the island itself mostly on the south east side is around 800,000 people
I always enjoy your Venturing :) You get to see some of the best parts of the world and I look forward to your next video. I do miss the west coast, but your excursions help out. Happy Canada Day!
Beautiful waters at 10:10 & 15:05 & 17:40 & 20:50. Tidal flow at 30:05 & 31:10 & 33:30. Several interesting lagoons, inlets. Virtually the same as 'Venture Around Vancouver Island'. Thanks for sharing.
1:32 "...a bumpy ride up the Straits of Juan de Fuca." Although the name's origin is Spanish, in the local tongue we pronounce it "wan duh FYOO kuh," not "wan duh FOO kuh." It's like Sucia Island in the San Juan Islands: we say "SOO shuh," not "soo SEE uh."
Sorry about that. Wouwer (WOW-er) Island used to have an active campsite. The trail was lovely when it was active. They closed the island (mostly because no one visited because they couldn't sleep on the island - the stellar sea lions were incredibly loud!). I believe Benson is also closed now. Great places to stop for lunch with a tender would be Gibralter Island and Dodd or Willis Islands. Also, explore the TIny Group near Sechart Lodge...fantastic beautiful little area. Best anchorages would be Jacques Lagoon, or Joe's Bay.
Yes, you probably have seen this video before. I did explain at the start of this "A Single Step" series what it was all about. If you want to see this series or, indeed, all the available videos - rather than just those which pop up, you should visit www.Flemingyachts.com, run your mouse pointer over "About Tony" in the top menu and then select TH-cam from the drop down menu. Then you can select from the more than 100 videos available.
I always dispute the claims. Sometime I succeed and sometimes not. When not, TH-cam say if too much troublemaker they will cut you off. Claimants even change title of same music to make it impossible to dispute. Actually, Vimeo is much better platform but have next to no viewership. Always some parasite ready to spoil a good situation for everybody!

you will need to dispute the claims. youtube sucks but there are no alternative platforms with the same features.
