This guy was the most POPULAR youtuber in jailbreak before, he made the game more fun and challenging, and the old community was better but the new game is better, this is my decision btw
I started playing in 2018. That time was absolutely crazy and I wish that maybe they could have an event to where they could bring OG jailbreak back for a week. Although I will say new jailbreak is nice but it's definitely not the same
Late 2019 or 2020 lockdown was peak jailbreak when being able to spawn cars with mobile garage was a new feature
I just miss how I felt at the time. It’s purely nostalgia.
As an ex-player since 2018 and now has roblox deleted, I think old jailbreak and new jailbreak has its pros and cons. Currently jailbreak has way more stuff to do, more stores, more in game creativity in the new robberies. Back then we only had the bank, jewl and MUSEUM. (Bank was the first one in 2017.)
But Asimo really needs to improve the gameplay on mobile, its really, really bad as compared to what it was 4 years ago.
I miss the old days because of the controls.
Personally I don’t believe Asimo should just bring back “old jailbreak” because it just doesn’t work that way and they’ve already done all this to develop jailbreak into what it is today.
It’s been a year since I quit jailbreak (roblox as a whole) and I would actually still be enjoying playing jailbreak IF Asimo brought back the old controls or at least fixes it. I don’t know about PC because I have NEVER played on PC but on mobile, the controls are extremely bad.
I would actually agree that 2019 jailbreak was probably prime jailbreak.
The community is much worse than it was back then, currently the game is much more tryhard than it was back then and with the trading update it just became even worse.
But honestly I don’t care about the community, it’s not something that can be changed.
But hey, Ive already left roblox for good so just giving my opinion on this matter, have a good day user ❤

Nah jailbreak 2017 was the vibe it was awesome and then later it got better and better but 2017 was just nostalgic and it brings back so many great memories cuz that’s when I also just started playing Roblox

In the main city with 170 average fps are soo good bro as u have a rtx PC unlike most of us so it would be a piece of cake for u to run the game
I have a gtx 1650 and I get 150 fps in the main city

2019 2020 jailbreak was the best
I started playing in 2017. To be honest 2018 Jailbreak really was prime, it has enough to do and for me the game looked better. (For me atleast, it looked a bit more fixed and less messy) In the new game there's just too much stuff going on at the same time. And a few years ago, old jailbreak wasn't even that simple, it had enough to do. 2019 also had way more updates and better graphics. It was just very exiting to play.
Also, I mady so many friends and the community was way better. There were a few toxic players but it was mostly just wholesome.
2020 jailbreak was also amazing it just had a lot of toxic people lol

Honestly, even up to 2020, in 2020, it was still good. After that, it started to go downhill. Part of that admittedly, is that us veterans have all grown up and moved on to different games in Roblox, or different games all-together.

In my opinion the previous map's terrain felt more detailed, now after the expansion the mountains looks terrible and the texture is better but the terrain is not at all realistic.

As a veteran, I must say, I miss the game. But its good that this game is changing, but whilst also retaining the core stuff. Honestly the community was better than the game for sure, the newer game updates is good but the older com was better

I’ve been playing JB since 2017 and i can say 2018 was Jailbreak’s prime. I miss those days where i would arrest ppl with high bounty and they become toxic, me and my friends would grind for 3 hours straight with no breaks, abuse glitches, etc. i miss those days so much. 😢 even with other games
although 2019 jailbreak was back when i had no worries in life cause i was a braindead little kid, i gotta say that new jailbreak is better in most aspects

old better for sure I started at early 2017 that time this game was insane for a roblox game but missed stuff. but when they added many features w/o making th players bored was super awesome and fun to play. When u could play songs in ur bugatti/ monster truck and money meant something rn I have millions and no purpose to grind cuz I cant buy anythiing more.

The performance side is something that the developers don't have much control over. Roblox is just a very unoptimized platform.
Just to put this into perspective. I can run Minecraft at 130 fps average with maxed out shaders at a 16 chunk render distance. If I try to play Jailbreak at the maxium graphics setting, I average around 100 fps. Despite the fact that Jailbreak isn't nearly as graphically intense. Roblox is just unnecessarily resource heavy
