To be fair this list is highly inaccurate as they're missing some really good dancers like Aishwarya and especially Madhuri Dixit who are better than the actresses in this list even in contemporary styles and not just classical. You'd be wise to not take this video seriously....

Madhuri was never a technical dancer. Saroj Khan was the reason behind her success because she utilized Madhuri's facial expressions to take attention away from her lack in dancing. Vyajyanti Mala has been the best dancer Bollywood has ever employed. Hema Malini and Helen are next.

In my opinion, beside madhuri, aishwariya & sridevi, there is another one - karishma kapoor, elder sister of kareena kapoor. You should definetly check out her work from ' Dil to pagal hain' co casting with both SRK & Madhuri Dixit. Specially her work on songs 'Le Gayi', & ' The dance of envy'. Also the movie is dupe & all songs are mindblowing.

With everyone in the comments mentioning Madhuri Dixit (and rightly so!) I hope you guys check out her song with Prabhu Deva - Kay Sera Sera. It's a departure from her classical dance background but showcases her versatility so well. Not many can keep up with Prabhu deva's dance style but she does it with ease! And as a bonus the song is composed by AR Rahman so its a certified banger!
In case you dont recognise her, Madhuri Dixit is one of the actresses in the Dola Re song with Aishwarya Rai. More recently, she was the performer Ranbir Kapoor was dancing with in the first song in Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani.

Sridevi ji was a complete actress... her dancing skills were impeccable! She had the capability to express emotions with her facial expressions and body language, and could easily narrate a story by her dances. Her song 'Mere Hathon Mein Nau Nau chudiyan' from Chandni is the best example of that. It is still a big wedding song!

It's based on personal favorite basis because there are so many "actresses" best dancers in India and bollywood . My top ten :-
1)Madhuri Dixit(Main Classical but versatile with many genres)/Sri devi (same as madhuri, RIP legend)
2)Aishwarya Rai(Classical with smooth, graceful dance with versatile and expression is so good)
3)Katrina kaif(Modern dance was taken to another level and her score from start to till date still famous with same level)
4)Nora Fatehi ( Best belly dancer and pop dancer also)
5)Deepika padukone (Versatile dancer with energetic movement which can match only dancers )
6)Shraddha Kapoor (She is prove of "Never judge a book by it's cover" looks innocent young girl but her ABCD performance shocked me and energetic also)
7)Jacqueline Fernandez(not a good actress but her dance is so good specially pole dance she is best in industry and overexpression though)
8) Kriti Sanon ( Good dancer with superb expression)
9) Disha patani ( not good actress but her modern dance is good like hiphop , contemporary and some break dance also)
10)Malaika Arora(Mainly dancer and model then actress)

My opinion ->
1. Madhuri Dixit. (Rightfully Deserved.)
2. Rekha.
3. Nora Fatehi. (She actually choregraphed some of her dances like kusu kusu, and also trained the backup dancers herself. So I think she deserves to be in top 3.)
4. Hema Malini.
5. Aishwarya Rai.
6. Shraddha Kapoor.
7. Deepika Padukone. (I have seen her classical dances, nagada sang dhool. She is really a impressive dancer in my opinion.)
8. Katrina Kaif. (She is very good in modern dances. But I've never really seen her doing classical dances. So she isn't really versatile dancer in my opinion.)
9. Karishma Kapoor.
10. Vaani Kapoor.

if you talk about dance in Bollywood and don't include MADHURI DIXIT, then it's just wrong. You guys saw her in Ye Jawani hai Deewani, the first song, the lead dancer was her and it was time when she is way past her prime and also is not much active in the industry, but you can still see the grace and finesse with which she did her routine.
In my opinion katrina should be on first according to the list....and damn gou guys must watch HUSN PARCHAM if you wanna see katrina's actual charisma and also what actually a bollywood commercial looks like❤️🔥
Helen is a Cabaret dancer
Madhuri is a Classical dancer .But when technical dancing is concerned and the songs composed by music directors of todays Bollywood Nora Fatehi fits in those dances so does shradha kapoor n anushka as well.During Madhuri or Rekha's era the songs were totally different.

Guys Norah is the Dancer here so she got the judges position in a dance show immediately after she got famous, but others are beauties with acting skills they are not famous for their dance moves except Norah and Norah is not Indian as well as Jackline Fernandes and Katrina kaif they are working in Indian film industry as actresses. Although Katrina Kaif's father was Indian I guess 🤔. I love Norah, she brings the excitement for dancing in non-dancer like me. 😅 I really love her dance skills. If ever someone creates a character of Apsara in movies I prefer to watch Norah as the cast she deserves to be cast as menka or urvashi.

Disha danced with tiger and match his steps and energy ... urvashi, she still is professional dancer and you should judge them on dance parameter not based on their backchodi and controversies.
