O jeez... Ghanaians make really good puff puff. I discovered that at a very young age. Then we'll run off to Ghana quarters every Saturday morning to buy puff puff 😋
If not for the condensed milk and yeast I will say it klaklo, but you got me good with the twist I love it and will try it. Just so you know I tried your beef stew recipe and it amazing
I always enjot your recipes.... I'm learning to cook from you.. Thank you very much... Please, can you make A GLUTEN-FREE bofrot recipe 😢? I need it for my cheat day on my journey to healthy living.... Thank you very much..

Wow! Beautifully Presented. Thank You for Sharing this Ma'am 🙏 Good thing I have a few overripe, I'd like to try this tomorrow but usually like chocolate in my Buns and Puff, just not sure how chocolate will affect the recipe... 🙈
I have the WORST luck finding “good” plantains 😩. They’ve been my favorite since I could eat solid food as a toddler but I only get good ones when my mommy brings some from VA. Any “tricks” to selecting ones that ripen well and don’t go rotten/get hard in the core?? I’d love to try out the bofrots with ripened plantains. I actually love eating them when they’re over ripe 😁. Super sweet and yummy! Sinfully delicious. Thanks for sharing your recipes - great tips!! ~ Nana Adwoa

@@NanaabasKitchen thanks!!! My husband is Nigerian Hausa and I did attempt to make suya with peanut butter powder and a few other ingredients but we didn't like the taste. We are in the midwest about an hour from the nearest African market.

Hi Nana! I'm a new subscriber and was wondering if you could make a video on how to properly make Ogiri, like step by step... I just made the your potato leave dish and messed my Ogiri up, Please!!!!
Great question Joann! So I recall, in my mother’s bakery, we use the hard flour for breads, Bofrot and pastries that require lots of gluten, whereas, the soft flour is used for a more crumbly crust pastries, such as our meat pies and chips. Please use the hard flour for this recipe and it will turn out great! All purpose flour is equivalent to Ghanaian hard flour. Thank you and I hope this helps dear 🙏🏽😘
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. I did tried your native land’s recipe recently. It came out pretty good we like it. I’m from American Samoa but I live in utah now. We do make round pancake like ur puff puff, we put ripe banana, pineapple in it but you use warm water to mix your dough, we use cold water or milk. I see some use milk in ur puff puff. I like how rounded your puff puff comes out but mines comes in different shapes bcos it’s my first time making. Anyway, u can go on youtube and punch in samoan panikeke so you can watch how similar ur puff puff is to our round panikeke. Plz, hit me back I like to know your thoughts about it.
