Seems you know the long term result of pushing the body too far. For me. My pains are Not from athletics. Two major one time events. Neighbor called. "I've fell out of bed and can't get up." Yep. Just like in the commercial. I felt a sharp pain in the lower back as I lifted her. Gone the next day. But ever since then it comes back when do frequent bending over. The next was trying to drag a 400 pound machine out of a van with help. My hand grip is really good. Apparently my arm strength doesn't match. I felt and heard a pop my left elbow joint. (Like when you pop a knuckle.) Even the co-worker heard the pop. OH THE PAIN!!!! 5 years later. It's still weaker than the right but it's my go to arm for carrying a bag of groceries.
The respect with which everyone engages with one another is truly commendable. It's a rare sight in today's online landscape.😛
