There is NO doubt that Lee Jung Jae is an awesome actor. But I have to say that the director did a great job guiding the actor too. The fact that he wanted 456 to act like he scored a comeback goal in a critical game is absolutely genius and Jung Jae did exactly what was asked of him. Anyhow, I also really enjoyed Lee Jung Jae in “Chief of Staff” as well. Especially in the second season. Wish they had another season of this great drama.
Season 3 will be released this year, however, it will unfortunately be the final season... but perhaps that's for the best. Too many series get renewed time and time again and go on way beyond what they really should, which damages the series in the long run.

Try Guardian: the lonely and great god (a.k.a Goblin). It’s a K-drama and he is absolutely amazing in that show. Very different again from the other 2 portrayals.

You should watch his acting in Along with the God's, it is a comparatively small role but he is phenomenal in it. I also loved his acting in Chief of Staff. It is a tailor made role for him.

I can relate with this.... I watched it and fell for Gong Yoo on 21/10/21 and after that everything changed. I learned a lot about Korea and saw almost all his work.
