In Sinister Smiles, the Queen is having a fight between her good and bad sides. It’s performed as a duet between Pau as the good side and Dany as the bad. The bad side is taunting the good with her power but the Queen is trying to be strong. She even starts to threaten suicide, probably in the tub, hence the “stain the water” lyric. This is a very feminine way to commit suicide, in the tub, maybe a bubble bath, so that the blood from slashed wrists remains in the tub and does not dirty the house. Then the evil side joins her in singing that part - so does the evil side want suicide? By the end of the song, the two warring personalities break apart.
I am glad you enjoyed this song. This is one of my favorite songs from Queen of the Murder Scene (QOTMS) album. These ladies are the future and the evolution of rock music for the 21st century. Give it a couple of years they will explode in popularity. Already their Patreon page is at 1027 to date. Individually these song stand on their own. In order to get the full experience of his masterpiece album, I highly recommend listening to it in order starting with prologue Dust to Dust. Dull Knives...another masterpiece from TW in and of itself. You will be pleased and amazed as they continue to unfold the Queen's quest on a dark but illuminating journey.

In this song the queen is going crazy, the voices in her head are telling her to give in. The lyrics are very creepy good and the reality of the scenario is so very real! Next you need to hear Dull Knifes cut better! This song is also very deep as the thought of suicide!

I dont know if there is anything you can do on your end or if it just is what it is but the video of the girls performance is so out of sinc with the music nothing even comes close to matching up, video to music if you now what I mean. Ive seen this happen on other reaction channels as well.
