Beautiful so why do you use double yard?

The yarn I used is a light weight yarn and the strands are tiny so I had to double it so my work will be bold

Mine isn’t as flat as yours. The 6 double crochets in a space is making it flare up instead of staying flat

Place 4 double crochet instead, the weight of your yarn might be the cause
