Looks like a nice cabin, and Interjet seems to be pretty good carrier. The fact that the Sukhois have reliability issues and problems getting spare parts isn't surprising, seems to go with the territory with Russian aircraft. Carriers that might be considering the MC-21 that is coming out soon should keep the problems that western carriers have had with the Sukhoi in mind when deciding if they want to operate the MC-21.

Sanctions are the reason. The SJ 100's have 40% of its components produced in the West which now is depriving Russia from having access to with various excuses. But obviously it is to throw out the Russian aircraft out of the competition and introduce European or US substitutes instead.
Very quiet take off and very smooth landing. Sukhoi should market this model to South Asian air lines like Pakistan and Sri Lanka who are struggling these days.
I liked the SSJ 100 when I first saw it advertised. I thought it would give Bombardier and Embraer a run for its money. I remember Interjet singing the praises of this jet for the money invested. Service and parts availability is always a consideration but I thought UAC and Sukhoi would be on top of that as they were competing in the West and the jet is certified here as well. Thanks for the video. Sukhoi put out a great jet but without spare parts, I believe it will fail in the West and fall like the AN-148.
Friends! Two crashes with the SSJ100 showed that this plane is smarter than the pilots! If the pilots had listened to him, there would not have been a single crash at all. In Indonesia, the pilot turned off the signal about approaching the ground and crashed into a mountain, in Moscow, the plane warned the pilot 5 times about leaving for the second round, but the pilot ignored the warning and began to land the plane over the speed limit and thereby caused the "goat" of the plane and a fire! Fly do not be afraid of the SSJ100 by 2024, the localization of parts will be brought to 95% and no sanctions will prevent the aircraft from being delivered abroad!
I really like the look of this plane!! It's too bad so many are parked because of mechanical issues. I think the SSJ might have really hurt Interjet unfortunately. I wonder how the SSJ performs for Aeroflot, and if they get parts more quickly than say Interjet?
We flew in Sukhoi Superjet on Aeroflot airlines, and design of cabin was great, everything new, and here is even better... Bad thing that Sukhoi Superjet will remain only in Russia. It is cool to fly in almost empty plane :)
@@dsanalysis5013 From a Suhkoi insider I gathered the issue was 1) Interjet wasn't very prompt with payments. 2) They wanted Interjet order multiple parts and make payments upfront (due to #1)
I prefer a service like Interjet because as you say it is already included with the ticket and in the others they charge you and why it makes me service is better.
Flew with Interjet from Cancun to Vancouver non-stop about a year ago. Def positive memories on their legroom and appreciated their complimentary drinks and snacks (no snack box tho), but man, 7 hours on a flight with no power outlet/entertainment systems in pure Spanish is hard hahaha. BJX also a sweet little airport, still under renovation when I visited (BJX-Cancun) but Guanajuato brings nothing but the best memories :)
Wow, the interior looks amazing, I think this superjet 100 is good competitor for A220. Here in Indonesia, due to the crashed accident in Mount Salak some years a go for the same kind fleet in demo flight, all of Indonesian airlines canceled their order. Bad news.
I flew once in one of these beauties .. from MEX-MZT-MEX, it was a true pleasure to have once again that feeling of being into a real aircraft and not a Fuel efficient 'Kites' as I do like referring to, since the MD-80 series I hadn't that feeling .. the aircraft was really responsive to pilot controls for instance the descent didn't required the intensive spoiler use you find in those modern 'Kites'
Good video. the Sukhoi looks as good as any other jet it's size. I couldn't help notice how empty the plane was. Probably because of the high prices you mentioned. I don't think this company will stay in business long.

The problem with spare parts is due to Western sanctions. The SJ 100 has 40% of the aircraft components which are produced in the West and which Russia cannot supply due to their ban. Russia is in the process of replacing these Western made parts of the aircraft with indigenous ones, though that takes time.
This was a fantastic opportunity for the world to take notice that Russian aircraft could be a lower cost alternative to their western counterparts but they completely bungled it with sale of these jets. Staggering incompetence.

It has no competitors for those who do not want to trust the fate of their aviation in the hands of the United States and its hangers-on from Europe. Brazil is not even able to make its own engines. Buying planes with American spare parts is fraught with consequences. If you do not please the "owner", you can be left without maintenance and spare parts, as happened with the first SSJ 100. How can they possibly be good planes if they grounded almost the whole fleet due to maintenance. Trust me InterJet wants out of those planes. Will never fly in a Russian made plane.
Those planes are losing Interjet a lot of money if 12 of their 20 are grounded and being cannibalized for parts. Planes only make money when they are flying. I suspect Interjet is seriously eyeing the A220 to replace these.
The business model is at fault here. Regular maintenance parts became an issue. Russia has always been an aviation power. Sold the most military jet aircraft in the world

Sus asientos te dan mas espacio entre asiento que cualquier otra aerolínea mexicana en turista. Su servicio de comida es igual que Aeromexico, que incluye el snack y tu bebida. Yo recomiendo a Interjet mas que Aeromexico ya que vas mas cómodo, y puedes estirarte mas.
That window glare on pushback was horrible,were you able to place your camera as close to the window as possible? Noticed that you were sitting on the left side of the a/c on takeoff but after your lavatory visit,you decided to switch sides during cruise,on landing,back to the left side. What was it with all that blue tape on the lavatory ceiling? Almost as if that tape was holding things from falling down! As for food choices,I'm happy with complimentary drinks and snacks--Buy on board menu choices are way overpriced--as for wanting something to eat at Leon,looks like you're out of luck that time of morning--a 4 hr layover in Monterrey? What do you do to stay occupied that time of morning? Does Interjet have any alliance with FF programs?
When you have an empty cabin, you might as well make use of the empty seats. I still have no idea what the tape was there for, and I really didn't bother as long as the plane flew. We ended up staying most of those 4 hours at the CitiBanamex lounge, mostly because of the complimentary hot breakfast. As far as I am aware, Interjet isn't part of any alliance, but they do offer quite a few code shares with major airlines, most being One World so who knows... maybe they'll join OW in the future

Muy buen video pero prefiero por mucho Aeromexico y mas por sus aviones widebodied Boeing 777 787 y 767 en vuelos a paris , tokio y Buenos Aires. Interjet aun no cuenta con aviones de largo alcanze. Airbus 320 no cruzan el Atlantico pero ahi la lleva.

Wander if the parts that they are short of. Are from the Europe and the US. They would do things like that so the airlines buy from there countries. Which is Airbus and Boeing. Over 10% of parts for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 comes from the US. Iran wants to buy these but need to get the US approval since it has over 10% parts made in the US.

El problema es el difícil acceso a repuestos. Llego hasta el momento que tuvieron que usar 4 aviones por partes El Personal si esta capacitado.

Aeroflot just cancelled my flight. 5 hours before the departure. Super jet sukhoi 100 has serious issues. I am happy it was cancelled.

As far as I am aware, Interjet isn't part of any alliance, but they do offer quite a few code shares with major airlines, most being One World so who knows... maybe they'll join OW in the future

Muy buen video pero prefiero por mucho Aeromexico y mas por sus aviones widebodied Boeing 777 787 y 767 en vuelos a paris , tokio y Buenos Aires. Interjet aun no cuenta con aviones de largo alcanze. Airbus 320 no cruzan el Atlantico pero ahi la lleva.

Aparte del supuesto poco ruido y el espacio entre asientos, no le veo otra ventaja. Preocupa que tengan que canibalizar otros aviones para poder seguir operando, pero tener solo 8 en servicio de 20 disponibles es alarmante. Sobre todo que Sukhoi es una empresa sólida en Rusia, es un mal síntoma. Habrá que ver porque 12 superjets están inoperantes ....
