Richard Tuthill of Tuthill Porsche behind the wheel and also the manufacturer of the car in the video in collaboration with Singer Porsche. His father started the company and he took the family business in another direction from repair to racing preparation and has some of the most successful competition rally Porsches around. He also does enhancements on customer cars to make them lighter, more powerful and faster than the cars that come from the factory. Remarkable company and remarkable man!
Fit for purpose-and being used as intended. Seeing the guy who built the car driving it hard warms my heart. And, that last shot with him in the seat out of the car-
Had the opportunity to let Randy Pobst drive my car around a track recently. Same demeanor while absolutely CRUSHING laps…calm as can be & having a conversation with me at the same time 😆
@@Patricktheanticatholic Hey, there is nothing wrong with a Forester. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder even if it does look like a driving brick.
Click the link in the description and it will take you to the page that has the car for sale. It is a modified Porsche and gives info on the car and who/why on the build. Pretty sure that’s at least the best place to start. I need to know too.
I know he's probably a camera operator and part of the production team, but I like to imagine the guy at 2:32 as just some rando out for stroll getting sandblasted as this thing goes screaming past.
2 things i really love in this car: the digital display (if you're going to replace analog, you might as well go big) and the exhaust flames. Does anyone know what those front bumper wings(?) are for?
I had Kelly Moss racing build me the most incredible 911 based Safari for my both at the 2018 SEMA show. Incredible machine and workmanship. I feel like the 911 Safari trend really took off after this car was seen at SEMA....so much so that even Porsche offers their Dakar version for sale now. Your welcome Porsche, lol.
If only Ken Block hadn't decided the always-deadly snowmobile was a good idea, we'd possibly have some even wilder stuff with this. After all, all the German companies are pretty well just Volkswagen owned these days, so Audi could've sent him over.
Thats really awesome! Not only the car, but the filming + editing and not to forget the driver!
Except dubbing the the sound of rowing up through the gears as he's hard on the brakes.
Что у вас там так потрясло ?
The driver is the owner of the company that built the car. Richard Tuthill
Imagine being such a badass driver that you get to slide a one-off Singer into a muddy corner at full throttle. And that sound.. geezas that sound
pretty sure that's Richard Tuthill... and yeah he's that bad ass for sure.
geezas
Those gears remind me of an RC car 😆
I just love how spotless everything was at the start of the video.

Thanks for the backstory, the video was amazing 😊

Bro looks so chilled behind the wheel as he hustles the porsche along he looks like he's out for a sedate sunday drive.😂
This is what the intro to heaven looks like
Had the opportunity to let Randy Pobst drive my car around a track recently. Same demeanor while absolutely CRUSHING laps…calm as can be & having a conversation with me at the same time 😆
One of the very few ways to IMPROVE a Porsche! My god that looks like so much fun!
Soaking up them jumps like a trophy truck. What a machine! Supreme video all around 💯
Wow! I did not know the sewing machine company raced cars too!
They also made the best .45 ACP handgun EVER
Two entirely different corporations
@ What? No way
The duckbill spoilers on the front helped nail the landing! Awesome video.
Amazing job, that car is absolutely crazy awesome for lack of better words
Porsche is just a timeless beauty in looks and performance.
I reckon my xt forester can do better

That digital dash's overall design is amazing.
Genuinely the best car commercial ive ever seen
that looks like a mighty fun time, someday i hope to be able to do stuff like this
Live life 🔥 Amazing project
So good to see this being used - would love to read about the whole back storey of this car one day and what the owner moved onto next

@@andypresland sure thing!!! I honestly can’t wait to read about this beast myself!!! 😎👍
Amazing all around. What a video 👌
That is the coolest sewing machine I have ever seen.
Jesus Christ, @1:22 i thought the was Colin driving.
So well done! Build, drive, shoot, everything!
This pleases me on a deep and primal level.
Nice ad! Surprising and very pleasant ending. :-)
This uninspired video highlights just how thoughtful and talented the Block & Scotto duo was
😂угараешь
Incredible.
Sitting on the beach with that car had to be a career moment ❤
He was just avoiding the inevitable reality of having to clean that thing up and get all the salt off of it.
Well I think Dakar needs a new entry....
And porsche got there knickers in a twist over this car! It's perfect
No de como este canal no es famoso
That looks like so much fun!
Adrenaline-pumping! Singer is at the top of their game...
Epic video!
This is art
Thanks, I was wondering what his name was.
I dont understand what is cheaper to “fly”. This Porsche or an Helicoper! Great vid man!
Those are the smoothest dirt roads I've ever seen. Take it rallying please!
The helmet sitting on the beach was a completely different helmet he had on driving. Just an observation.
I know he's probably a camera operator and part of the production team, but I like to imagine the guy at 2:32 as just some rando out for stroll getting sandblasted as this thing goes screaming past.
Omg. I want to watch this in a theatre
Thank you for this. ❤
Amazing!
HOW does anything that should reasonably not look good... look this good?! It is a pure love affair of a car, that's what it is!
Ferdinand would say ‘endlich mal’. And I completely agree.
this is so fire
I want one SO badly 😆🙏
I wonder what that one person walking on the beach alone thought of your performance :P
Looks like Sweet Lamb complex.
Bangin off the limiter…Kennen Block gettin’ it done!
what's with the mudflaps in the front? Are they needed to prevent splashes or more for aero?
It's a real life RC car. When test driver is looking like "Holie Sheeeit!!!"
An rc version of this would be amazing
Guy looks like he's whistling a tune in there
Those straight cut gears screaming
My tamiya sand scorcher made the same sound as far as i remember 😎
Wild AF!
Best add ever
Ready for WRC👍
What the…. That’s pretty nice
Richkhana
Put me there with a 1999 Yaris and I would shred so hard they gonna call a wind turbine in my name. What a playground.
What a pleasure 🙏
So you're just reposting a video from 4 years ago why? th-cam.com/video/HiFNAt26QKs/w-d-xo.html
How dare you twist the story. How dare you put facts in the story.
I knew it! The damn whatsapp web notifications were a giveaway
Almost perfect! End shot should have been a filthy car...
Thank you. I now need a cigarette.
Dang, this was posted years ago. I was hoping for something new.

Imagine how much better the average sports car would be on a British B road with some ground clearance and compliance.
Driving a car through salt water really burns my ass.
held my breath for 2.54 haha awesome
Sweet home, Earth.
North Wales? Penmachno old RAC/WRC stages and Blackrock Sands?
OMG SO AWESOME !
Music to my ears, it wasn’t electric thank god!!! Things sounds badass.
Flamin epic
How does one get a ride-a-long...???
I want one!
Awesome ! 👏👏
Very cool. Driver reminded me a bit of Colin McCrae
"Used as intended" and as it will never be, once sold to a millionnaire...
It shoots flames it shoots flames!!!!
Question is: Will it get Rusty?

Yes, LOL.......911 Safaris predate 2018......I built one in 2013 with Elephant Racing safari suspension......so I certainly wasn't first😎
Love the car
Video games sure have come a long way 🕹️
How can the car be spotless and clean all the time
Is it awd? I can't tell.
Just wild. 😎
So sick!
The real Porsche is not built by Porsche anymore..
Great car!
I'm in!
What's wrong with the engine?
Who’s the fpv pilot for this?
this is a real pleasure mobile fantastic
Imagine having to be the one to clean it afterwards.
No point building a masterpiece of automotive technology that's too precious to have fun with 😅

Uses as intended its what I gonna say to the insurance after my crash😂
Thank you. Thats all
Who's flying the Drones?
great shots
Could be a team that takes over the mantle from the late, great Ken Block here. Where was this filmed and what's a Singer ACS?
