Hey boyo it’s Justin. Whatever’s going on in your life don’t let the channel die, I can tell you love it so much and it’ll keep growing. Hope everything else is well
So informative Homer. Compost tea and worm castings. What a great suggestion. Thank you for your genuine efforts to help us be successful in growing our fig cuttings. This is my first year rooting cuttings and you're videos come at the perfect time.
Great Video Basement Fig as always! With the treepot pops, how long do you leave the bag on? When you take the bags off, do you first untie the tie for. Few days to acclimate the plant? Thanks!
Soap nut is suppose to be the less expensive option… the process is a luxury. Not required to be successful. It def helps beginners learn how to water more “evenly.” Watering small amounts slowly and multiple times during watering helps save money in the pockets for sure!
@@basementfigs thanks. Yeah that sounds like what I do. I basically do 3 passes. 1st just like 5 seconds to wet the top because as you know the peatmoss becomes hydrophobic when dry so gotta re hydrate it to make it absorb water again. then I come back and do another run like 8-10 seconds each tree. Then check the bottom to see if water is running out the bottom holes. any water coming out means I'm done cause I don't want to be washing out all the fertilizer and amendments I'm trying to keep in there.

Pretty much once I start watering them regularly.
hey Homer do you know of a cheaper alternative to the saponin powder? The idea behind it sounds great but it's just not within my budget
