🔥 There’s one skill that separates great IT Project Managers from everyone else-project tailoring. Most project managers get stuck trying to learn every new tool and process out there. They dive deep into theories but still struggle to deliver projects on time and within budget. It’s frustrating. The truth is, great project managers don’t try to do it all-they focus on tailoring simple processes and tools that work best for their team and projects. That’s what creates transparency, predictability, and results. But here’s the thing-tailoring isn’t just guessing what might work. It’s about knowing three critical components: 1) Understanding project management on a deeper level. 2) Knowing exactly what to tailor. 3) Applying it effectively in real companies with real people. That’s why I created the Professional Development Plan for IT Project Managers-to help you master project tailoring and finally become the project manager who delivers every time, no matter the challenge. ✅ Click the link below to get your development plan now and take the next step toward mastering project management. itpmschool.com/get-plan?
i like your video about how to question as software PM and this very good for me, maybe sometime you release the video about as project manager infrastucture or network because can be very useful for me or others as junior PM, thank you.
Thank you for your channel. I tried to get the Agile Project Management playlist and I can see the set was hidden/deleted. Maybe It's possible to open it one more time? Thank you in advance.
I think that playlist is not called IT Project Management: th-cam.com/play/PLjbXjDdSp7vekLWjrZ3s7xIx7mQhJxykn.html Or maybe this one with PM examples: th-cam.com/play/PLjbXjDdSp7vcVDSFY6D6AQf4LFSVO1i3r.html
Hi Juned, All the answers on cost management start from the understanding that you need to break down a project into smaller pieces and then do the bottom-up estimate. Then, you need to talk about where you get those numbers in your budget. For sure, you want to note down why you came up with those numbers. After that, prices may fluctuate, your estimates might be wrong, and scope creep may happen. In any case, with cost overruns, you need to communicate and show objective reasons. And be proactive with possible solutions to get back within budget. I recommend you watch these videos as well on budget and scope creep: th-cam.com/video/DC6-O2WzuX0/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/HapbL_Q6ycc/w-d-xo.html
@@ITProjectManagers Thank you for the video links. I have a similar understanding. However, I lost the presence of mind while speaking about it in an interview.😋 Thank you so much for your response. Looking forward for your more videos.
