So much bullshit in the comments here, people arguing and insulting the respective bands of each of the guitarists when the four of them are clearly friends and couldn't give less of a shit about which of their main projects are better and instead are jamming onstage alongside each other and having fun
look where Takayoshi Ohmura's thumb is compared to Marty when they are all playing the arpeggios at the end, he has a different mechanic of playing. He brought the heat when it's his turn to play!
Ohmura is using proper technique. Thumb over the top of the fretboard is lazy man technique. I got punished by my guitar instructor every time he caught me doing it.
@@joemama1151 Ohumura doesn't even have his thumb on the neck but in the air, which is well... if anything more questionable. Also people who say that thumb over neck is not proper technique is quiet ignorant.
BTW Marty and Gus seem to be getting really well together. I am very happy cos I know Gus since he was a teenager (we re from the same town) and he is living his dream there now. And he is pals with my all time favourite guitarist Marty...

dam satriani doesn`t even pull this off always love friedman and the pros he has playing with him. ohmura is a beast on guitar.
