Paid way over the odds for that 928.
Hey what happened to the rest of the episode can someone please tell me how I can get access in the US to finish this series I am and intrested I'm a big fan of the Porsche 928. I love to see how they do with this car. Thanks in advance
I paid £4000 for mine 18 years ago ! It was tidy.. best car a ever owned & sad I lost it to this day

Well, as usual the "drew" character has shown his complete and total ignorance. You can buy 2nd hand but already restored 928 seats for half that price.
Never fear drew and his ginger buddy just make up a number at the end which makes it look like they've made a profit.
After paying 9000 pound for the seat restoration drew managed to sell the mini metro for 25000
He paid 1300 for a valet in another episode
Love it - I have a similar project over on my channel - 1979 non-runner that Im stripping and rebuilding, all on camera.
I have a European Ford Granada from 1982, lights, power steering, instrument panel lights, heated seats and so on still works, did have to change the filter to the air conditioner though, it cost around 100 euro and got it with the car that was also much cheaper than this car, has a v6 and runs good, don't think I would buy that old of a car with the number of electronics found in a Porche, even if I like the look of some of them...
Next development for Drew, What about T? Making the Tea.Perhaps!! Entertaining
Overall, surprised by the high prices being paid for many of the cars
Not actually sure why they bought this anyway as they're not exactly sought after. It's still for sale on ebay and it's been on there for a few months.

The car failed to sell at £11k at two auctions in 2017. 928S's in that condition are fetching £6-£8k - so why pay so much more and how can the "sensible" one claim "Drew has done a great job getting it at that price?" It's all a fake.
Did they make money on the sale in the end?

Wonder why he has now turned to doing up old rusty cars, Liberties finished with, Wife gone, and no Tee, Carl given his marching orders, The whole cast made the original program what it was, he will never be the new Jeremy Clarkson, just go back to the antiques that is why we watched you, not for this boys toys stuff...
Liked salvage hunters but this is very iffy. Drew and dealer mate pay 5.5grand for a totally wrong mini in this episode. mid sixties plates late seventies body and interior and running gear, the only part that went with plates was possibly the engine and box. highly questionable even should have kept the plates that went with car engine came from. after paying that much it needed a full strip down and respray, could buy one needing not much more than that kind of work for under a grand. this is a bloke who keeps pushing the concept of originality. then buys a porshe with knackered interior and totally shot electrics without expecting big bills to fix, pays way over the odds for thst as well. come back ed china even brewer didn,t make so many basic errors.....er actually he did. this series needs to feature more of the resto work and less posing around
Mouse/vermin infested vehicles are not suitable for this type of restoration, their feeces will be in every nook and cranny, this vehicle is basically good for parts only.

WHAT A MONEY PIT 10 K IS FAR TOO MUCH FOR THIS CAR . I think you would be better off selling the parts for spares the electrical system would cost more to repair in time parts and labour and the seats and interior will be expensive
i would break this car for spares and repairs and get my money back if it was me
i have just watched part of season 2 num 4 in regards a maseratti..its unbelievable to watch the new partner talk about the expensive 3 day detailing of the car and yet as he is talking the knuckles of his right hand is firmly planted to the side of the car. for quite some time..pritchard is way out of his league,polishing and detailing a car is not enough when you have not even qualified the cars entire integrity front to back

If they are finding these cars that have been in storage for years, and need all this work....hw are they driving them legally on roads?....the whole concept of this show, is a lie....nothing adds up.
You are right but it is much worse than that. They do not factor in the cost of labour - so every car has made a loss. They lie about the purchase price and make up stories about where they got them - many of the cars are bought at auction and we can see the prices. And most of the sales are fake too, we see them sold at auction at prices far below what they say on the show. It is all fake..
A rich man's 'Wheeler Dealers' and therefore loses most of its relevance. Rich people blowing their money to pay others to do the work isn't even clever....
And this clown doing the 'work didn't even think about used parts given as Drew says 'there are lots about' he just saw a way to spend money.
