The way they say it it doesn't make sense, cause she is blind. How I like to understand it: Art isn't good enough for her. In Frozer she said she only practices noble arts like fencing or archery, so drawing may not be a "noble art", therefore her mom doesn't need to see what she produces to say she's not good enough for it, as in "it's not fit for her"
@@fleda7629 her mom wasn’t always blind tho as we see in sole crusher (most likely) there is a woman that looks exactly like kagami and SHES clearly not blind
I wish that "truth" and "lie" would've come out in the middle/towards the end of S4 rather than right at the beginning. They could have done so much more with the coples and have portrayed the struggles of both their relationships and the character developments of both Adrian and Marinette throughout S4 rather than breaking up both of the couples at the beginning of S4.
@@BlueHSomething personally, I think that it's both Kagami and Adrian's fault as to why the relationship ended. Adrian didn't put enough effort into the relationship because of his exracariculars (being chat noir, his exra classes, school, ect.), while Kagami only liked the idea of Adrian while not getting to know him that well.
Eh Lukanette/Adrigam were literally just filler relationships meant to prolong the endgame. They literally serve no purpose or development other than that. Nothing would've been different if it was middle of the season than the beginning expect us seeing Luka and Kagami painfully get ditched over and over again for 10 more episodes instead of 1. I am personally glad they ended it very quickly. Season 4 seems to focus more on the plot. All this love triangle drama is really pointless in my opinion as we all know who is the endgame anyway.
@@lilymadkins3558 I disagree, I personally think that Lukanette/Adrigam were like showing us how painful a relationship ladybug, chat noir, and anyother superhero that works full time (like ladybug and chat noir) have with other people who don't know about their superhero lives. Lukanette/Adrigam was a chance for Adrian and Marinette to understand relationships better and the producers kinda just blew that away.
@@nawshin8680 See that's the thing. Luka and Kagami are real people with real feelings who have real chances of getting hurt. But the sad truth is, both Marinette and Adrien never saw them like that. I am not blaming anyone but it obvious that both Luka and Kagami were just rebounds. That's why I am opposed to the idea, that they should be with Kagami and Luka just to learn about relationships. Life is very long, no matter how great you are, there will always be things you don't know. You cannot master everything about relationships within 10 episodes of using Luka and Kagami as experimental relationships rats. They're all kids, they obviously won't have proper knowledge about relationships that they should have. Marinette and Adrien are not gonna have a perfect relationship when they too start dating. They'd make mistakes, mess up really bad. But they'd also learn from it and come out stronger everytime. This is why the direction writers are taking is really great in my opinion. The romance is taking a backseat because this season about self-love for our main characters. They need to love themselves first before loving anyone. Lukanette and Adrigami do sure foil the struggles of Ladybug and Chat Noir's partnership. But that was explored in Truth and Lies itself. They wouldn't need 10 more pointless episodes with 0 development for the main couple.
I kinda feel like the break ups were a bit rushed. I mean, they started by the end of season 3 (Heart Hunter and Miracle Queen) and they immediately ended at the beginning of season 4. They didn't have a lot of focus and I feel like these relationships were wasted potential for the show.
Honestly, they might change the dates but they had to break up because they can’t handle the pressure of being superheroes as kids and keeping secrets from one another... it’s on a more dangerous scale if u think about it but you have to understand the context of their thought process. When someone’s put under pressure and already in love with someone else, the one thing to do is move on, which is something they can’t do because they don’t love their second options as much. For instance, adrien can’t be very open to kagami, the ship doesn’t work and he’s also never been in a proper relationship before due to the lack of isolation. With marinette, she’s quite responsible as she is the guardian and did the right thing of breaking up with Luka straight away in my opinion.
Yeah it would’ve been nice to have seen more Luka/Mari scenes, he’s able to create a very safe/healthy environment for her and I feel like she may have still needed it for awhile. A lot of s3 was Chat kinda losing himself. I’m curious to see if this season will be the same but with Mari
well... Chat Noir did say in one of the episodes "as long as you being a guardian doesn't cause any problems between the two of us, I'm fine" foreshadowing much?
@@greenrangeralex I honestly feel like Zoe would be perfect for him. I don't like her however i think they'd be actually functioning if im thinking unrealistically i honestly would ship chloe and luka
I really like kagami, she’s one of my favorite characters, she gets too much hate for just having feelings for adrien, the reason why she’s so forward and pushy is because that’s how her mom raised her and what she’s been around, as you can see when she’s practicing with her mom. it’s sad to see her hated so much. When you look at her as a character besides her as a ship it’s different.
miraculous is really starting to get deeper than it was :( i really, really hope chat doesnt get left behind. he'd literally go into a state of absolute depression, not to mention being chat noir and saving paris is his only escape from the chained reality he has to live.
I agree 👍 Chat noir is kinda like this key 🔑 Adrien uses to get outside of his cage. I think about like this, so Adrien is like this prisoner and Gabriel is a toxic police officer that keeps Adrien in inside his cage. But ever since Adrien got that miraculous aka the key he uses it to escape Gabriel and his cage.
And if he IS getting left behind, I hope that it's intentional for like some rlly nice climax that develops his character and his relationships (esp with ladybug, doesnt have to be romantic) more.
Chat noir is all he has that’s when he can be himself and not worry about what his father thinks. Chat is him it’s his true self being chat gave him the freedom he needed and nowit feels like that is being taken away from him . he is slowly feeling like ladybug doesn’t need him anymore. Cat noir needs more appreciation from ladybug how many times has he gave her prep talks. He revealed his identity for her he truly loves her he does so much for her. I get it she isnt his girlfriend or he isn’t her boyfriend they need to sort this out and tbh ladybug is putting alya in major danger hawk moth knows always identity it can put her into major danger. there will most likely be a cat Blanca to or an episode of where cat noir confronts ladybug about it she is making the same mistakes as she did with luka
I still don't think they would successfully date other people in a long-term scenario. They are too much in love with Ladybug/Adrien, to actually completely fall and give it all to someone else. I think what they most liked about Luka and Kagami were the things that reminded them of the people with whom their affection truly lied (Luka being caring and sweet, Kagami being decisive and confident). They liked these parts of them but that's exactly why those crushes were shallow - they were based not on who Kagami and Luka were as their own people but on the similarities with the ones they desire the most. Also in comparison to how deep the bond and "in love" feeling go with the people they're trying to get over with, it's just not the same
I agree 👍 I disagree with some of the things mentioned in this video because even if it looked like Marinette and Adrien were romanticly attracted to Kagami and Luka it wasn't the situation at all and I'm gonna try to analyze this. So in Marinette's case when she first met Luka in Captain Hardrock she was upset and disappointed that Adrien could not come to the ship. When she met Luka he was nice, sweet, and calm all the traits in Adrien's personality that she loved but that's when the problem started. That's when she began to create this fantasy were she has a crush or is in love with Luka when in reality that's not true nor what she wants. In Silencer she was blushing because she was flattered and surprised by Luka's compliments. In Desperada she confirmed she has no feelings for him by freindzoning him with no hesitation. This was literally after Silencer when he confessed shouldn't this be a red flag for Luka? Anyways for Marinette she was totally lieing to herself and was creating this fantasy that she had a crush or was in love with Luka. Now for Adrien, Adrien was actually interested in Kagami and I can't blame him because LB has rejected him so many times and Kagami was the only one to be like, "If things don't work out with you and that girl I will be available because I like you!" She was being clear about her attraction towards him so when he finally lost hope he decided to give her a chance because unlike Marinette Kagami always made the first move so why not? But even though Adrien was interested in Kagami he never really loved her. Like Plagg stated in Lies and I recall that even if there were other cheeses he liked he would always come back to his favorite which is camebart 🙄🙄. So it foreshadows that even if Adrien liked or had a crush on Kagami he would always love Ladybug more or come back to Ladybug no matter what.
I feel like Miraculous is one of those shows with a good and interesting concept but wasn't executed to its fullest potential. Like a love square is definitely unique and could have been used to show the different personalities and dynamics. I like miraculous but I really, really, wished it was executed better like a lot better. Tbh I just want character development that is meaningful.
My wish is that someday the show will get a reboot that is actually good with consistent plot and development. There is so much potential and I feel that so much of it is wasted. I'm not going to stop watching though 🥲
I strongly disagree that Marinette is in love with Adrien the model. In the Origins episode, Marinette found out he was a model in class AND STILL DIDN'T LIKE HIM. She didn't like him coz of the wealth or looks, rather she liked him because of the umbrella scene... Adrien apologizes to her and opens up to her easily about his struggles of being in school for the first time. It was the vulnerability and chemistry. She is a teen girl so she expresses her love in a fangirl way. Not to mention she only blushed at Chat Noir in Glaciator ep because chat noir was vulnerable about his feelings for her (before she just thought he was not serious). He kissed her cheek and she felt chemistry. I think that's the part people don't get.
Full heartedly agreed, I absolutely loved how Mari fell in love with Adrien it was honestly beautiful and the umbrella scene is one of the best scenes in MLB
@@verdurite She said "Marinette only likes model Adrien" and suggests that Mari doesn't like the Chat Noir side of Adrien. LB is Mari and LB loves that side unlike Kagami.
After realising Luka’s behaviour, I have a new found respect for Kagami. She doesn’t hold back when something is hurting her and properly makes clear what the other party did when explaining her feelings. Instead of Luka’s “I’ll be here when you’re ready” she is true to herself and says “I’ll let you know when I want to see you again.” Yeah, she may be cold, a lil standoff-ish and not look like the most affectionate person alive, she knows what she wants and what she thinks. I aspire to have some Kagami in me more than ever now :)
That's a pretty toxic approach to seeing Luka, I find Kagami to be a little to assertive sometimes especially when it comes to assuming peoples emotions. And I don't respect the way she broke up with Adrien as she didn't even give him a chance to talk, she just walked away without solving anything. Luka actually came off better to me as he's willing to stay friends and empathise with Mari cuz that's just how he is. Anger solves nothing~
@@quietopinion9637 I also agree that Kagami wasn’t exactly the nicest to Adrien during their relationship. However, when you are hurt by someone, it’s not obligatory to let them off easy. Kagami broke it off and didn’t let him elaborate because she knew that whatever he said wouldn’t make up for the fact/change the fact that he disappears randomly and without explanation. I believed Luka was too understanding in Mari but could still see the good in her despite being hurt by her. Kagami may have not been understanding enough but she does understand that Adrien made her feel like crap. Anger may solve nothing, but they’re all hormonal teenagers who aren’t one with their emotions yet.
@@JaeyunYD05 I do understand her anger tbh but that doesn't mean it wasn't uncomfortable to watch since I guess I thought she would understand him a bit more given their upbringing. IDK I guess I don't like how she forced her feelings onto him anyway as that just doesn't scream female empowerment to me, it screams female entitlement and I'm saying that as a female myself. But that's a given knowing how she's grown up being competitive rather than being receptive of others. So that's why Luka comes off better to me because Anger truly does not solve anything, it may be passive approad but that's just who he is and I admire that quality since I'm quite similar. Would Kagami fans still treat her the same if she were a boy???
@@dew__drops7844 Yesssss I accept Adrienette and ship it sometimes but I love Lukanette the best. I feel so bad for both Luka and Mari. They would’ve been perfect for each other :’)
I quite strongly agree. Unfortunate breakup (Adrigami was unfortunate too, but I feel more remorse for Lukanette simply because of Luka being my favorite character).
Thank you for bringing this topic! I'll focus on one thing that caught my attention the most: I'm honestly surprised on how people are dismissing the fact that Alya has now more responsibilities with the Miraculouses than Chat Noir. He's been with LB from the very beginning and he's pretty much in the dark by now and has always been, and we've been shown that this affects him, so how do they really do not expect this to blow in LB's face when he finds out she trusts more on a relatively new ally than in her long time partner? Of course I understand Marinette and her decision, and probably CN will understand later on but we seriously can't blame him if he gets emotional at the start, causing another Chat Blancish situation. Tbh I'm looking forward to that kind of development on them, just hope the fandom won't be harsh on the kitty
I mean in my opinion because of the events of Chat Blanc LB considers that dating with him would lead to end of the world which actually is wrong. Because she had no idea that what really happened in that alternate timeline. She only knew Chat Noir is akumatized and he knew LB's identity.
23:30 I personally think this is leading to Chat losing a bit of his respect for ladybug and stop considering her s romantic partner, he'll be heart broken that he was replaced and maybe will start considering Marinette a love interest now that he doesn't want ladybug anymore I think it would be interesting to have Adrienette happen but for it to happen Adrien needs to stop considering ladybug a love interest and I think that's what the series is setting up
I totally agree. However, I think that since Adrien feels like he’s more like himself as Cat Noir, he’ll go after Marinette but as Cat Noir. Reasons: 1- If there was to be an Adrienette relationship, Gabriel would interrupt it and Cat Blanc would happen, even if they didn’t know about each other’s identities. 2- Although both of them have reasons to lie and wouldn’t have a problem with it like Luka and Kagami, their relationship would be weird since they don’t have the time to hang up with each other. (Because of superhero stuff they wouldn’t have normal dates, etc etc) 3- After Gang of Secrets I think Matinette realized that she can’t have a “normal boyfriend”. She even said that in the episode, but I think for now she’ll try not to get in a relationship. After a while she’ll realize that the only person that can truly understand her in terms of responsibilities and secrets is Cat Noir, not Adrien. In this season Adrien and Marinette are surely becoming closer friends but I don’t think it’ll go farther than that. In conclusion, I think the supreme shipp is MariCat. Both of them would be their true selves with each other and their relationship would be way healthier than Ladrien (their “perfect” selves), Adrienette (Marinette obsessed with Adrien’s “perfect” self and Adrien not being himself) and Ladynoir (because of what you said and what the video said).
@@raquelribeiro8225 Disagree. Thomas Astruc debunked this true self theory multiple times. As Master Fu said in Feast, Marinette and Adrien are Ladybug and Chat Noir with or without mask. All ship's in the love square are equally supreme. They all have their plus and minuses. Plus Marichat can't really work because superhero/civilian relationships bring much danger to their respective families. Adrien will never forgive himself he puts Marinette in danger by dating her in his superhero persona.
That could happen. The brand ambassadors of Miraculous officially confirmed that Adrien is falling for Marinette. I can see Adrienette happening first. Ladynoir needs more development as of right now.
@@lilymadkins3558 the only problem with Adrienette at the moment is Gabriel and his evil plans. He would do the same thing he did in Cat Blanc, make Marinette break up with Adrien and she would get akumatized. But we’ll see
@@quietopinion9637 How exactly does Marinette have more bottled up emotions than Adrien? The only struggle that she has ever had until now in the series is the guardian stuff, which was solved after confessing everything to Alya. If they wanted to make it so Marinette would still struggle a little even after the Alya reveal, then they screwed up, like always, since it only lasted for the Sentibubbler episode... and Adrien? He's been emotionally abused by his father for most of his life since his mother passed, Gabriel almost never lets him out of house and decides his everyday schedule without ever giving him a choice in anything. And Adrien still follows what his father decides for him despite wanting to be free, sure he can loosen himself up a little while being Chat Noir, but that's still not enough because, most of the time, he's Adrien. Not only Gabriel doesn't let him live like a normal teenager by keeping him in the house all the time if not for lessons and photoshoots (which Adrien must absolutely do because he needs to "honor" the Agreste brand), but he's also very abusive since he pressures Adrien so much. If Adrien makes even a tiny mistake, Gabriel will always punish him by making him face exaggerated consequences for even the most little of his wrong actions. Adrien never gets rewarded when he does something right, he only gets punished in the harshest ways possible even for small mistakes which his father doesn't tolerate. And yet, Adrien still hasn't snapped despite being treated this horribly and rarely being given proper parental love. No wonder he had such a big reaction in Chat Blanc when he found out. Now, as I said before, he can still loosen up a bit of that pressure by being Chat Noir, even for a little... it was like this, before Rocketear happened. Nino literally told Adrien that Chat Noir is annoying and a burden. Adrien has been told indirectly that he's annoying and a burden. Chat Noir, who was the only way for him to escape his daily pressure and temporarily get rid of the mask he's always forced to wear, is seen from everyone as annoying and a burden. His version of himself where he can be free is seen like that. And, as if it wasn't enough, he discovered that Ladybug had hidden from him that Rena and Carapace know their identities and LB is fine with it, and who knows how many more secrets she's not telling him. These aren't just plain secrets which are completely understandable that Ladybug wants to hide, such as her secret identity, these are things that affect the team and that Ladybug should have discussed with Chat Noir, since he's a part of the team. This is making him loose his trust in Ladybug; he has always sacrificed himself if it meant buying time for Ladybug, because he trusts her deeply... and all he gets in return is secrets and lack of trust. He's always there for Ladybug and trusts her, but she never does the same in return. He truly lost the only valuable thing he had left that made him happy. I say it was the only thing that made him happy that he had left, because he already lost Kagami since he always had to lie to her due to him being Chat Noir, and he probably lost trust in Nino after he revealed himself and Alya like that to a civilian. Not only he thinks Ladybug doesn't trust him, but he's probably starting to doubt her as well. And this is probably making him suffer a lot, because his relationship with Ladybug was the only thing he had left. Now, what did Marinette go through? She's always had a very nice and caring family and friends who love her to death, nobody ever hates her for her mistakes, she never faces consequences and only gets rewards, and she's got everyone's love and trust. She has everything to loose but she never looses anything. The only struggle she has ever had is the stress due to being a guardian, and that only lasted 4 fking episodes, and, now that she has Alya, she's all fine again. Maybe she will suffer in the future due to Chat Noir distancing himself from her after he finds out everything that she's been hiding from him, but, for now, she's got no problems in her life. Not anymore, at least. If there's anyone who's going to snap because of everything he had to bottle up, it's Adrien. Not Marinette.
@@nouinfinity3957 long but that's practically it. That's why she's considered a Mary sue to be honest... She struggles but it's only for a little while coz she has supportive people surrounding her.
The show never gave me a reason to think Luka or Kagami would ruin the love squares. Let’s all be honest season 4 broke it off too quickly, Kagami and Luka barely were temporarily conflict and they said Kagami and Luka would play a big roll in Adrienette.
Is it bad that i want them to date each other? Just not the couples that we saw already? I kinda want Adrien to confide in Luka and then something more developes ... Luka seems like a total sweetheart and Adrien could totally need that with the cold atmosphere at home and the way his dad is behaving towards him. Same with Kagami and Marinette. Or Kagami would get someone else entirely.
Yeah I like how others are finally getting a chance to show their point of view, but it’s not cool how Chat Noir isn’t being treated like an equal despite being told by Ladybug herself that and I quote: “I couldn’t do this without you Chat Noir.” I like how Alya is assisting Marinette and is showing a preview of how if Marinette knew Chat Noirs Identity how better of a team they could be. And i like the episode where Marinette has to prove she is the real guardian. How well Chat Noir and Ladybug work together in that episode is shown wonderfully. But still it could be much better. However look at how Chat Noir comforted her and reassured her that he trusts her and only sees her as the real guardian. That reassurance helps being Ladybug confidence so that they could defend themselves against the guardian dude.

Exactly, the story development needs to show how ladybug and chat’s duo isn’t perfect, and by weakening it the story has many possibilities for character development.
Rena Rouge never replaced Chat Noir in the first place, people are just upset that we see some Alyanette friendship instead of LadyNoir and go “oH nO mY bOoTiFuL cHaT dIdNt aPpeAr fOr oNe ePiSoDe WaHhHhH”. Tbh I prefer Rena Rouge ten times more than Chat Noir in the first place, idk what people are complaining about. We’ve literally only seen a couple of the season 4 episodes and Chat stans are already jumping to conclusions, ugh. 😑 But it probably does play a bigger role in reversing the love square, maybe Adrien will start spending more time with Marinette or something, idk.
Can I say that I don't like Adrianette even though it is what the creators will push for, because it is too superficial, feels more like a crush than love and because Marinette is *Very Creepy* sometimes?
Marinette literally admits several times that she can’t even talk to Adrien. It’s been over 3 seasons and that is STILL THE CASE. If Marinette can’t have a proper conversation with Adrien in over 80 episodes, I don’t see why I should care about this relationship anymore. It hasn’t gone anywhere. Adrien is still hopelessly pining for Ladybug, and Marinette is still too paralysed to even talk to Adrien.

people calling kagami cacagami and whatever and its so rude, she literally has done nothing so far 🤷♀️ i mean luka’s an angel but kagami isn’t even mean. like adrien she was trapped all her life with her strict mom.
Her character is literally a female foil to Adrien. If someone likes Adrien because of his brooding, quiet, mistreated child personality, they ought to like Kagami for the same reasons. But women get treated differently than men in those domains, so Kagami gets hate for the same situation that Adrien gets love for.
Marinette needs all the therapy she can get once the show's over. Edit: And for the whole "Cat Blanc 2.0 situation", I do remember Thomas saying that Cat Blanc would return in this season. The new problem of Rena Rouge's role may be a set-up for this. Also, the thing about the Miracle Box honestly can't be solved. Noir can never be a potential Miracle box holder because 1) his civilian responsibilities, 2) the fact that training two people at once will be difficult, and 3) he lives in the same house as Hawk Moth.
It's a bit out of context, but... When Alya now have the fox miraculous constantly, how will Nino as her boyfriend react? Because we know that both know each others identity. On the one hand, I think that Alya would tell him all (she now know who ladybug is or "just" that ladybug is the guardian, which ladybug asked her not to do), on the other, I guess that Alya won't risk her best friends identity to come out, but she's also a journalist... so can she hold it up even for her ladybug blog not to publish the mystery what she ever wanted to find out, the reason why she made the blog? I love Alya, she's a great best friend and I adore she as Rena Rouge, but I'm not sure if it was the right decision to tell Alya and make her a constant miraculous holder... And yeah, I agree totally with a few other comments that our poor little kitty will be left behind, or just feel like he's getting left behind. In my opinion it's really likely that Cat Noir will get upset, or angry... So a perfect play for Shadowmoth... A Cat Blance 2?
Yeees, make a video talking about the situation of chat noir being less time on screen, i think that the writers are doing that on porpuse, so later they have big drama and their relationship gets stronger or something like that, i feel like if this happens, ladybug should tell chat about chat blanc and omgg that would be so terrible and great at the same time

I’ve been watching this show since the beginning and nothing has changed. They started out Ladybug and Chat Noir fighting Hawk Moth in the city of Paris and 5 years and 4 seasons later and they’re still going at it, sure there’s some variations like Mayura, school mates as temporary miraculous hosts, lucky charms, and the occasional roughty akuma but all of those just serve to destract from the fact that the writers are just padding the run time. There has been no fundamental shake ups like Adrein searching for his mother, other superheroes getting involved with the conflict in Paris, or perhaps a third party looking for the miraculous. You could say that Ladybug thinking that Gabriel was Hawk Moth, the Guardian retrieving the miraculous from Marienette , or the Miraculous B-Teams identities being blown could be seen as the writers trying something new to keep things fresh, but all of theses conflicts get resolved in the episode they’re introduced and with the later so that they could bloat the show some new school mates cum miraculous hosts and they still bring back some of the B-Team. In the end Miraculous Ladybug is like RWBY, it has all of the ingredients but no ability to add, mix, and then cook it into something edible.
@@quietopinion9637 It’s a parallel movement not a forward motion. The status qoe is kept. As much as I love miraculous, you are right. 😔 I'm also kinda glad you compare this show to Rwby instead of riverdale like alot of people been doing. 😂
Yes, I think that's the best way to describe Adrian as far as what's his real self, I actually prefer the idea that even *he* doesn't know who *HE* is as a person. It just makes more sense IMO.
@@miss_chelles1338 it makes SO MUCH sense as even Kagami pointed that neither his model persona nor his "clown" (aka when he posed as Chat Noir) persona was his true self. He was very surprised! His real self lies definitly in the middle, and I think that both personas are actually different sides of him. I hope that in season 4, he will begin to look for his true self and question what is true identity is like. People often mention that Marinette is too immature for a relationship but Adrien needs A LOT of work on his sense of identity as well. Looking forward to this hopefully
This is a Tumblr post You know I think we should give more credit to these ships. While I still find that they were unnecessary to an extent, I do think there is some good in them. I think that in many circumstances we have seen this type of relationship before. Where Person A of the relationship is being proactive, planning all the dates, working to try and grow closer, sharing their personal feelings and vulnerabilities, and even being forgiving when the person has to leave for unexplained reasons. While person b is trying to make the relationship work too but something is holding them back. (albeit Real life or Emotional hang ups) Now in these cases one could argue Person A (Luka and Kagami) should have been more aware of person B's hangups (Marinette and Adrien) or Argue that Person B, should have made more of a proactive effort to make the relationship work. When it comes to romantic relationships, trust and communication are key. Marinette and Adrien were in situations where they couldn't tell their boy/girlfriend about why they flake. But whats really interesting about this is, while their secret was the reason why they broke up. It is only one of several reason why the relationships would not have lasted. Lets cut away ALL of the having to turn hero to save the day. No Ladybug and Chat noir. Let us just have Adrien and Marinette be in the relationship with Kagami and Luka. We as the audience have seen Adrien AND Marinette act when they are in love. Marinette never forgets dates or events. Marinette remembered Adrien's 5th names day, something not even his father remembered. Adrien went out of his way to prepare a romantic picnic on a balcony with candles for the girl he was in love with. The two went out of their way to do something for the people they were in love with. But lets look at how Adrien and Marinette reacted in their relationships. Adrien was typically on the receiving end, not even comprehending that Kagami was the one that was lying to both their parents to spend time together. As for Marinette, she does give Luka a gift on their date, but we find out she missed the movie date they initially planned, so this could be seen as a gift to make up for it. Whether intentional or not, the dynamic of Marinette and Adrien are reactive not proactive. Relationships without the balance of Both people being proactive and trying to make it work are doomed to fail. One side can't be constantly compromising or being the one putting effort. (I have been in this relationship) Now lets look at an episode where we see Adrien and Marinette in a relationship. Chat blanc. Marinette made adrien a gift, Adrien sees it, figures out her feelings and RUNS OUT to immediately confess to her. Adrien taking Marinette to events, getting ice cream, meeting each other in front of the school, even in those brief snippets we see Adrien and Marinette going out of their way to be with each other. (of course this relationship also shows WHY hiding something is dangerous depending on what it is. But the point is still relevant) This is not to say that Marinette and Adrien do not like Kagami and Luka, I think they do, but the feelings are not close to the ones that they had for one another and are not equal to the people they were in the relationship with. And people could argue, 'Oh they will learn to love them' or 'Once they are over their other crush then it will be easy'. That isn't how it works. I think the ships (while cut short) do make a great example for teens to see how relationships can be unhealthy while not being abusive or toxic. How sometimes good people in a relationship don't always mesh well despite wanting to. Sometimes people just don't click and thats fine. And for those that do love Luka//nette and Adri//gami, that is completely fine. And hey, fanfics exist for a reason. You are even free to disagree, that is reasonable. But Truth and Lies are episodes that have relatively good portrayals of relationships with good people that just didn't work out. And I think that is very important to show
I agree. I don't think they were in love with Kagami and Luka, i think those were kinda superficial crushes to get over the real ones and try to move on. They can like them but their hearts were taken so they couldn't get into it
Everything in this is absolutly correct. A and M might like K and L but definitely not to the extent that they liked each other! Thats why both of the relationships failed overall. Add in the fact that they couldn't share half of their lives with their partner and that adds even more mess.
i love miraculous ladybug videos where the person making them doesn’t treat the show like it literally sucks. thanks for this. it’s a comfort show for me and it’s really hurtful when all the analysis videos i can find are people bashing it :(
if anybody knows any other people who make ladybug analysis videos respectfully, please let me know! @cjthex has one of my favorite ladybug videos ever and i love their energy ! :)
The virtual celebrity does this regularly and doesn't bash I sorta just wish the writers were competent cause the story and plot is actually great but the writing hurts it so much which is why people bash hearing solely good things of a show with give you a biases and narrow minded view
I KNOW RIGHT!? I thought i was the ONLY ONE who felt like this! 😭 not to be overdramatic or anything. 😂 But like, I feel like when it came to people criticizing miraculous, it at first felt like actual criticisms. Now it seems like it's actual hate.
I agree with everything else you said except for the part about Mari falling for Adrien's image first. We've seen their first meeting, she didn't know him from the get go and didn't like him until he showed her kindness and made her rethink her assumption and bias. I think the reason she still ended up growing obsessed with the public image of him is because she suddenly became a mess around him and couldn't figure out a better way of getting to know him, which is honestly quite realistic for a teenager who develops a crush for somebody that happens to be a model.
The hate for Kagami breaks my heart because she is a sweetheart with literally nothing but the best intentions. I think people dislike her so much because she's direct, as opposed to how passive Luka can be. She knows what she wants and she goes after it and let's be honest what she wants isn't unreasonable. All she wanted was a close relationship with someone who is objectively in a better position to understand her than anyone else. Now, isn't that reminiscent of a certain, almost universally adored cat boy? Okay, I'll just come out and say outright that if you think Cat Noir's behavior is fine but hate on Kagami you're being pretty hypocritical. Now, Kagami may have been annoyed by Marinette's involvement with Adrien but at no point did she villainize her (which our girl Mari is guilty of btw), instead acknowledging her merits and even attempting to befriend her. And when she caught on to the fact that Adrien wasn't all in with her, sure, maybe it took her a few beats to accept, but she backed off. Because she recognized pursuing the relationship further would only make her more bitter and ruin their friendship. She conceded because she knew it was better for the both of them. All Luka did was sit back and get his heart broken. Sure, he was very nice and thoughtful but so was Kagami. Except she took things into her own hands and actually acted on that thoughtfulness. In conclusion, leave my sweet cinnamon bun alone, thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
17:58 I completely understood what you meant, and it makes a lot of sense. Adrien could make a great Persona character because of how his character is portrayed.
DISCLAIMER: THIS IS GOING TO BE A LONG READ, BUT HEAR ME OUT (GIVE THIS A CHANCE COS YOU CAN'T ACTUALLY HEAR ME...lol)... Sad as it may be, I think reduced Chat Noir needs to happen for the whole love square thing to be appreciated not just by fans, but by LadyNoir and AdriNette. Let me explain... It may be a show about Mari and Sunshine boy, but the Mari is still THE NUMBER ONE CHARACTER here. The creators of this show have gone for a weird eye of God/third person POV type thing to tell the story which as you rightly put, is about LOVE. Most of what happens on the show is from Mari/LB POV. That being said, the Main reason is simply due to CHAT BLANC. We have seen signs of the dynamics of the Love square but the one fear that Ladybug has, came to reality in Chat Blanc. Let's not forget that she is the only one who remembers EVERY SINGLE DETAIL after every battle and seeing the one person who has given up his life countless times for her, become the ONE person she has to FIGHT honestly made a bigger impact on her than we seem to understand. Also, don't forget that Chat told her in Chat blanc that the destruction was due to their love, chat called her by her name in this episode and she probably had not realized the true extent of her feelings for Chat until this episode. Also, she STILL does not know the Genesis of the whole catastrophe, all she knows is that THEIR LOVE DESTROYED PARIS AND THE MOON( The symbol of their love). At the end of Chat blanc, she calls chat to meet at the same place she met him when he was akumatised, coincidence? She simply wanted to make sure that first of all Chat did not know her identity, and to be certain that things were back to normal. Another reason is in Lies, you can see she is visibly upset, scared that chat has to sacrifice himself again for her. She knows he loves her and that is why it hurts her so much. Seeing and KNOWING that Chat will constantly do anything, ANYTHING to keep her safe more and more opens her eyes to how his emotions can be scrambled when it comes to her, we all know negative emotions cause akumatisations. In other words, she is his weakness. TBH, This may be a stretch, but maybe she also feels that there is a connection between HawkMoth and Chat, cos she asks Bunnix if she knows HawkMoth's true identity, not just because she saw the ash statues of LB and HM but she could be trying to understand how deep the love she shared with Chat could go, to the extent that it drew HM out of his lair. Therefore, let us go with the most cliche narrative in the world when it comes to love and protection, which is to push those you love or really care about away, or keep them in the dark about certain sensitive things because you want to protect them... And as it is rightly stated in this video, she is only a Kid, she is still learning certain things. One of those things right now is about SENTIMENT. (Check out and analyse what she says to Alya in Gang of Secrets, before she reveals her identity). She, instead, turns to the one person she knows she can trust, the one person SHE HAS SEEN break out of an intense akumatization and she knows Alya is strong enough to handle it (Yes, we know Chloe did, but LB does not know that) . Ladybug is scared, scared to loose her partner and friend and most of all someone she does not know she has feelings for (yet), and just like Adrian, I guess we could see a turning point in those emotions this season. One thing I know is that season 4 will be chaotic and I am here for this. Sorry for the epistle... lol.
In fact, Kagami is one of my favorite characters. She is very disciplined, but likes to break out and encourages Adrien to do so as well. I bet she might even get him to be a bit rebellious towards his father. Kagami also knows very well the pressure under which Adrien is and often tries to help him to break a little free. She is witty, funny and friendly. And she is not obsessed with Adrien but knows her own value.
Chat noir is the main character he won't be less of a character it just ment that Alya will play a big roll in the season because Marinette really was stressed so now that there's Alya it'll be easier on her. But im sure Chat Noir won't go
It doesn't matter though out the whole show we barly know anything about him, we know more about mari being a fucking stalker and all of her stugels but for adrien we don't even know anything about him and nino, his fav colour, does he actually enjoy his classes that he takes, etc.
What I really love about Lies is this one scene, where Kagami wants to draw Adrien and she wants him to do a pose, in which he feels natural in. And Adrien is doing a cat pose. What I love about this scene is, what Kagami and Adrien are talking about: "What do you think of cat?" (He does the cat pose)"This isn't natural at all! This is you, when you are ridiculous!" "No I promise you, this is the real me. Maybe when I am ridiculous, this is the true me." Plagg says also in the episode Frightingale:"Do you not want this costume deep down?" to Adrien (This is only from my memories, so there most likely little inaccuracies) I think that's it's really possible, that the true Adrien is a mix from Adrien the model and Cat Noir. I think also that Adrien sees Cat Noir as a distraction from his daily life. I don't mean, that he's taking his job as a superhero not serious, but it is more a distraction than a duty to do, like Marinette thinks. Cat Noir is a more unfriendly version from him and makes more bad jokes than Adrien would ever think about to make. But Adrien isn't also this cute, nice boy, what Marinette sees in him. He's also not perfect what Kagami seems to see in him.
Rant: okay I seriously hate how freaking biased the fandom is they all hate Kagami but they love and simp for Luka despite him having really similar traits. And can I just say that I think I like Kagami more than Luka?? Yeah I’m dead serious. Kagami is more sympathetic to me because she just wants to be a normal girl her age but her strict Asian mom constantly pressures her to fit into this image. Luka is nice and patient with Marinette but he also has his weak points like anyone does. People are so quick to hate on Kagami for “ruining the ship” but Luka literally does the same thing and these people are in love with him. It’s a double standard amongst the fandom I can’t stand. Edit: coming back to this video because seriously the first few episodes of this season were great!! I wanna see more of this side of the show and the characters again!!! Instead it feels like they’re all going downhill.
Honestly I've seen more people defend Kagami and attack Luka than the latter. You can defend the character without attacking the other ya know? And can I say that Kagami isn't a badass for breaking up with Adrien, she legit stopped being friends with him too like girl you that bitter? They both have flaws they need to work on but saying one handled things better is just ew
@@quietopinion9637 More people defending Kagami and hating on Luka? Just what world have you been living in? Everyone loves Luka because he's sweet and calm, and everyone is always hating on Kagami because she's rude and pushy. I have seen very few people defending Kagami and only two attacking Luka.
THANK YOU. Luka and Kagami don't deserve hate. The only thing wrong with Kagami is that she sees Adien as "perfect" when he isn't. She sees the surface of Adrien and not even Adrien himself doesn't knows the real him
OK Not only is she a teenager guardian, superhero, and student but she is only 13-14 years of age, and she (tho not greatly) puts an effort to have relationships
I don't know what I feel about Rena Rouge being permanentally in the team. It was always them against the world until it wasn't.. I'm perfectly fine with Rena coming to fights now and then but she's full on replacing Cat Noir and she actually does more things in fights that actually help unlike Cat Noir. Which is sad. Edit: this comment was a whiiileee ago and I've since then changed my opinion on this. Honestly I think I like Rena the most now.
Hate to be that person, but I always found it over dramatic and somewhat fake when chatnoir says that. I dunno just me.🤷🏾♀️ Or it's maybe because of the fact that I've always wanted *the miraculous duo* to turn into a miraculous team because Hawk moth has his own team as well of sorts.😅
@@miss_chelles1338 Same!! Also the episode Timetagger hints they will be part of bigger team anyway so it's not like it wasn't unpredictable this would happen. The two of them clearly won't be enough anymore. We need the side characters to develop also! ^^
you do realize that marinette felt crushing pressure from all of her responsibilities and literally could not deal with them alone if she didn’t want to slip into a terrible mental state?? there was no healthy way for marinette to continue without sharing the secret with someone, and it definitely couldn’t of been chat noir since marinette knows that chat blanc occurs because chat found out her identity. alya is her best friend and it was a decision that marinette made out of sheer necessity. please actually watch the show if you’re going to attempt to critique the characters, because it seems like you just like to make blind judgements based off of your own personal biases.
Oh my God, you are literally the only youtuber I've seen to get it right. I literally saw someone say they began not liking Adrien after lies because "they're turning him into a playboy" and people into the hundreds were agreeing with them
I would love to see a video because those are my exact thoughts and it also seems like Ladybug is making the same mistake Fu did in not telling Chat anything, and in a season where learning from mistakes is so prominent her making the same ones as her mentor( not Chat because Fu wasn't in Chats life) this is incredibly relevant.
@@emircanozad914 It doesn't need to be everything like her identity but as part of the team Chat needs to know basic info like that Hawkmoth knows the temp heroes identities amd that Rena is a full time hero. Because this is info that affects him and Ladybug withholding that is what's so not okay. Like right now Hawkmoth knows more about the hero team then Chat does which is scary.
One thing I'm not seeing people talk about the episode of Gang of Lies. Chat was actually making plenty of opportunities for Ladybug to open up to him (at least, confirm that she was stressed for being the guardian). But she was running away from him, not letting him be the partner he was supposed to be. Sadly, I think that it will be the same that happened in the Siren and Frozer episodes. Those were problems that should be shown building up over time, but they ended up being framed as Chat throwing a temper tantrum and getting over it right after.
@@VivioSaf I actually don't think so because the show is showing very deliberately that this is one of Marinette's biggest character flaws coming into play with how she often doesn't look at things from someone else's perspective something that she's actually getting a lot better out (Mr. Pigeon 72 really showcased this). To her this is one of the best decisions that she's ever made and it definitely is but Ladybug has never been left out of Miraculous knowledge like Chat and can't relate. She also just didn't want to admit how badly she was hurting to him or anyone else in an attempt to prove that she was okay.
So I don't think this conflict will be pushed to the side because it shows how even the best of relationships can still have miscommunication but can still stay together in a way that will parallel Lukanette and Adrigami. I believe it will also pair nicely with the Djwifi stuff that's being hinted at.
As someone from the bnha fandom, ships are a nightmare. Please, by all means, have your comfort ships, but do not hate on everyone who disagrees with it!!
People don't take enough time to understand Adrien/chat noir in real life and in the show. When Adrien doesn't meet anybody's expectations, there disappointed. when really, he's just being himself. And he's clueless when it comes to social cues, due to his relationship with his father. Stop expecting so much from Adrien because he is really trying. I think this has come to a point where viewers ALSO expect Adrien to be perfect. And when he isn't people say he's being "out of character", when he's not, he's being himself and he's really trying. I'm disappointed at how little time people take to understand Adrien/chat noir. And I know I'm a little TOO emotionally attached to him, but I feel like he's deserves more analysis. Your videos make me happy because you talk a lot about him and explain what he's going through so perfectly. Thank you
I really really am on board on the portion on the break up analysis with the two couples but I really think the reason why Mari is not depending on Chat is because of the Chat blanc incident. That ep is a really crucial episode because despite that unrequited love, she really cares for him. She is technically pushed to do grown up decisions and now he has become a person she really wish to protect. That's just my opinion and I liked the analysis 😀
That's why I'm so glad Marinette told Alya, Ayla is a wonderful character she's already been a miraculous holder and knows some amount of pressure that is put on Marinette especially as Ladybug. She knows all there about Ladybug more than anyone, and in recent episodes Alya is the only person shown to stop Hawkmoth's power even AFTER she's been akumatized, Marinette is currently the only person known to know both Marinette's hero and civilian side while still helping her and comforting her over and over again. Anyway, enough about boys. Alya x Marinette!!
*My theories* 1. What if the reason why we are now seeing Ladybug and Rena rouge so much together in this season and having Chat noir supposedly 'replaced' is because the creators are preparing us for when Chat noir does allegedly die or loses his miraculous, as he is at his most vulnerable state, being an advantage for Hawkmoth to take it or he just turns into Chat Blanc again. 2. Or it could be after his death that Ladybug realises what she had done and made the mistake of losing him like with Luka and realising how important he really is, for the hundredth time. Making a plan to get him back with the other superheroes and then realises that how much she truly loves him, more than a friend then changing how the rest of the show plays out. ( I don't know, just my theories.)
THANK YOU for putting into words exactly why all the hate Mari gets for how she behaves about her crush on Adrien rubs me the wrong way. They're kids! I remember being a shy, awkward teenager with a crush and I was very similar to Mari.
Personally I feel like this season could see Chat Noir relinquish his miraculous again. If Marinette doesn't start communicating with him then he's going to feel left out or replaced, like you said. I feel like this will either 1, lead to him as Chat going to Marinette to talk about his struggles and then Marinette will realize her wrong doing's and tell him everything as Mari or just tell him a little bit when she is Ladybug. 2, this season we will see a bit more of relationship growth between Gabriel and Adrien. Adrien would feel so shattered that he would want to go to his dad, then leading Gabriel to realize his son was Chat Noir the whole time convincing Adrien to give him his miraculous, which I feel is the least likely. Finally I believe this could lead to Adrien to relinquish his miraculous and not accept it back this time, not leading to a Chat Blanc 2.0 but to another akumatized version of Adrien.
Bruh just stop. Ladybug has every damn right to keep her identity away from him, she is literally traumatised by Chat Blanc. And if Adrien went against her I would definitely side with LB, he's honestly so damn self-centred and selfish sometimes it's cringeeeee
@@quietopinion9637 well after rocketeer she almost does owe him her identity. All the Adrien slander I see where there is none for Marinette is annoying, it’s not fair to adrien.
Honestly, this could have worked. It's not like relationships are permanent. When Kagami and Luka were introduced. And Mari's obsession was getting REALLY bad, I assumed they would have the main couple take a break from each other. Realizing how unhealthy it was. Mari realizes that she is just like Adrien the celebrity(as you say), and Adrien now just sees Mari as a typical fan girl. While Cat is just done with how Ladybug treats him and just sees all these hero duties as another job. Now treating Ladybug a bit more indifferently. I was hoping that the couples be together for at least one season. Learning what it means to be in a healthy relationship through Luka and Kagami. It honestly doesn't matter if they know the secret or not. But, if it were me, I'd have Luka know(cause Mari needs the support and mental stability) I agree with your explanation. but considering that he's also a hero(even if just part-time) they could use him and Alya to see the value of Cat's partnership. While Kagami doesn't have to know. But still indirectly helps Adrien with his issues as chat noir. Then later on once Mari and Adrien's relationship recover through their hero selves. They break up with Kagami and Luka to start Mari and Adrien's relationship anew. Starting out as friends and growing closer in a less creepy way. This not only developed their relationship. But also character growth.
I always look forward to your analysis videos and this one was such an amazing one to listen to! I totally agree that we need to see things through a grander scale. THEY ARE 15 AND 16, AND THEY DON’T KNOW ABOUT SECRET IDENTITIES LIKE WE DO. It’s time to be compassionate. I’d love to hear more about that last point regarding the parallels between Ladybug and Cat Noir’s mistakes.
I'm disappointed they broke up as quickly as they did. I understand why they broke up and I was expecting it since the end of season 3, but I wasn't expecting it to happen the very first episode of the new season. I had hoped they would explore the relationship more. I'm also disappointed that in Crocoduel Marinette said the reason she broke up with Luka is that she is still in love with Adrien and would never return his feelings. While that certainly didn't help matters she did like him and the main reason was that she kept lying to him. Its made worse by the fact she was telling that to Ayla, who is fully aware that Marinette is Ladybug by that point and the kwami were floating around everywhere in the background.
Out of all the videos I’ve seen about s4 regarding episodes “truth” & “lies” yours is the one that has been non-biased, analytical and understanding and I’m absolutely happy that there is someone who can explain these things in a respectful, polite and easy manner. I agree with you that the cast are teenagers like 15ish and they are allowed to make mistakes and adding the super hero thing makes things much more complicated… of course the show has some flaws just like being repetitive and all but the show is mostly about how to make relationships work in a more teenage approachable way… imo at least I feel like the show is trying to make ladybug and chat noir to have a fallout since their relationship had no trust from the start. Thank you for explaining :3
I think the fandom's problem with these two ships is because they just became a thing during two part finale of Season 3 so what was even the point of these ships being canon if Tom is just going to break them off *IMMEDIATELY* in the next two episodes of Season 4? Me personally, I see where they are coming from, I think it would've been better if Mari and Aidren dated Luka and Kagami respectively about 10 episodes in and *then* break them up. 5 for each. One episode for Mari, the next for Aidren. There, problem solved.
Honestly, I think Kagami and Luka are great people. I personally ship Marinette and Luka actually, since Luka treats Marinette so well. I don’t ship Kagami and Adrian though, since Kagami fell in love with the ‘perfect’ Adrian. I also don’t really like Chloe. I mean, she was never meant to be the Bee Miraculous holder, she just stumbled upon it. Yes, she looks amazing, but she is awfully pushy and is a pretty big jerk. She hates Ladybug because she didn’t get ‘her’ miraculous when she asked for it. Whenever something is bad, she just gets her daddy to fix it. Yes, she doesn’t have a mother figure, but that’s not the best excuse. Please no hate, these are just my thoughts
I am a little sad the alt relationships ended so quickly. I really like both Luka and Kagami as characters, so I was hoping to see more of them. To me the romantic interest tag has only one boon and that equals more potential screen time (and better animation lol). Alas, hopefully they still get plenty of focus.
Yes I agree, I love your channel This topic needed to be talked about, Kagami is just a character yet people hate her for being kinda pushy she's misunderstood and she's realizing! I saw the episode of Luka and kagami they seem so much better together Than Mari Luka and kagami adrien!
I'm gonna put my thoughts into these relationships. I hope to see more genuine relation ships between marionette/ladybug and Adrien/cat noir. I feel Luka is pretty perfect for marionette. more so since their interactions tend to give off a warm connection more than I feel marionette and Adrien does. however I feel Kagami and Adrien's interactions are more in the ways of understanding one another as you mention. BUT I feel the interactions that give the most genuine connections is when marionette and cat noir are talking, and cat noir being his little goofball self. The scene where cat noir brings marionette to the stage he prepared for ladybug was extremely heartwarming and genuine, especially since they were both disappointed with the one they wanted to interact with didn't show. even the Scene in Weredad where marionette and cat noir had that brunch was still genuine since it is clear they both care very deeply about how the other responded, despite marionette panicking and saying that she loved him when she assumed he was about to figure out her identity, and yes that scene ended with heartbreak, it was clear cat noir was also saddened by how it ended, kind of marionette's fault there though. with lukaette interactions it's genuine care just like with marichat interactions. same with Adrigami interactions. I will admit there are problems with all the ships. I mean for a show about superheroes it was going to happen. marionette broke up because her responsibilities were growing too much to handle, which lead to marionette telling Alya about her secret identity. despite that it's clear Luka still loves her and marionette the same to Luka. the same goes to Kagami and Adrien however their love definitely got hurt bad since Kagami feels betrayed and hurt from Adrien disappearing constantly, so much so that she ends up catching him in a lie and feels he has been lying with more then just him leaving. which is why she broke up with him. her trust was broken and trust is fragile. I personally feel that with Adrien, during this season, he's going to finally feel the burden as well, and tell someone about his identity OR he'll find out that ladybug told someone about her identity, return to feeling not trusted, and become akumatized, like said in the video, leading to a cat blanc 2.
I enjoy when Chat gets vulnerable because he actually gets serious. I think what needs to be shown is an actually genuine good friendship between the two in either in Adrienette, Marichat or even possibly Ladrien (cries in that development) cuz there's a lot of telling and not showing about their bond. I feel like Adrien is really gonna go through a massive break down of who he is as a person because while he feels more real as Chat Noir it's still another mask, another way to cope with his feelings of being isolated/ depressed. I get massive vibes he's told Nino!
@@quietopinion9637 I would support it is adrien tells Nino. Nino is extremely close to adrien and has been there whenever he needs him ( along with when he can be there. ) however the problem there is Nino can’t hold a secret like alya. I mean… look at how many time he pretty much exposed the fact that alya told him indirectly. “ she didn’t tell me anything, BUT if she did tell me I could totally hook you two up. “ Either way. Something will happen with cat noir that will be either akumatization or a reveal. Or both?
I still think MariChat is the better combination because I feel like that's when they're both their most relaxed and true versions of eachother. Until Adrien falls for Marinette and until Marinette/Ladybug falls for Chat I don't actually think they're seeing their truest selves.
"I-I love drawing but, my mother doesn't think I'm good enough.."
ISNT KAGAMI'S MOM BLIND???
The way they say it it doesn't make sense, cause she is blind. How I like to understand it: Art isn't good enough for her. In Frozer she said she only practices noble arts like fencing or archery, so drawing may not be a "noble art", therefore her mom doesn't need to see what she produces to say she's not good enough for it, as in "it's not fit for her"
AHAHAHAHAH
@@fleda7629 Yeah, I get your point at what your saying about the wording. It sounds hilarious in the non-noble arts context, though.
right?? it just shows how she's so ready to tear her daughter's interests down that aren't fencing without a second thought
Personally I think they did kagami wrong with how they went with it
@@BlueHSomething personally, I think that it's both Kagami and Adrian's fault as to why the relationship ended.
This series would skyrocket to the top if another episode like Chat Blanc happened, and I can't wait for the climax of this season.

I kinda feel like the break ups were a bit rushed. I mean, they started by the end of season 3 (Heart Hunter and Miracle Queen) and they immediately ended at the beginning of season 4. They didn't have a lot of focus and I feel like these relationships were wasted potential for the show.
These episodes definitely should have been place in the middle of season four
Their relationships ended faster than a 44 minute episode.

I agree 👍 Chat noir is kinda like this key 🔑 Adrien uses to get outside of his cage. But ever since Adrien got that miraculous aka the key he uses it to escape Gabriel and his cage.

Chat is him it’s his true self being chat gave him the freedom he needed and nowit feels like that is being taken away from him . he is slowly feeling like ladybug doesn’t need him anymore. Amen to that!

Full heartedly agreed, I absolutely loved how Mari fell in love with Adrien it was honestly beautiful and the umbrella scene is one of the best scenes in MLB
this is really well said
The video does address this
@@anythinganytime6786 thanks ❤️
Her direct aproaching that instead not, even if she is a flawed teenager being a bit too angry, is a good virtue. Talking frank about problems

Exactly. Luka isn’t my fav character but he is super nice and I like him
Thank you for bringing this topic!
@@emircanozad914 make conections like that, even subconciously is actually very realistic, I think

I personally think this is leading to Chat losing a bit of his respect for ladybug and stop considering her s romantic partner, he'll be heart broken that he was replaced and maybe will start considering Marinette a love interest now that he doesn't want ladybug anymore
I think it would be interesting to have Adrienette happen but for it to happen Adrien needs to stop considering ladybug a love interest and I think that's what the series is setting up
I totally agree. However, I think that since Adrien feels like he’s more like himself as Cat Noir, he’ll go after Marinette but as Cat Noir.
Reasons:
1- If there was to be an Adrienette relationship, Gabriel would interrupt it and Cat Blanc would happen, even if they didn’t know about each other’s identities.
2- Although both of them have reasons to lie and wouldn’t have a problem with it like Luka and Kagami, their relationship would be weird since they don’t have the time to hang up with each other. (Because of superhero stuff they wouldn’t have normal dates, etc etc)
3- After Gang of Secrets I think Matinette realized that she can’t have a “normal boyfriend”.
Thats cool and I mean maybe their releationship will last LONGER (until season 5 thats what I want)

If Adrien ever cracks he would become the greatest villain in the series. He is my favorite character too.
Lmao we already had Chat Blanc, so personally Mari would be more interesting as a villain as she has far more bottled emotions than Adrien.

I like how Alya is assisting Marinette and is showing a preview of how if Marinette knew Chat Noirs Identity how better of a team they could be. And i like the episode where Marinette has to prove she is the real guardian. How well Chat Noir and Ladybug work together in that episode is shown wonderfully. But still it could be much better.
Noir can never be a potential Miracle box holder because 1) his civilian responsibilities, 2) the fact that training two people at once will be difficult, and 3) he lives in the same house as Hawk Moth.
how dare yall hate Kagami, the only character I would round house kick is lila.
hell yeah ! you tell em !
And Gabriel, dont forget that emotional abusive dunce
Don't just roundhouse kick her, yeet her into the sun.
Yes 👍 I would think so to
Yeees, make a video talking about the situation of chat noir being less time on screen, i think that the writers are doing that on porpuse, so later they have big drama and their relationship gets stronger or something like that, i feel like if this happens, ladybug should tell chat about chat blanc and omgg that would be so terrible and great at the same time

@@emilliedostuff5277 Ohhh 😮 okay thanks for clearing it up!! For me I never had an issue with Kagami because I’ve seen her more as a straightforward girl who has no issue saying or doing what is on her mind
Gang of Secrets says otherwise lol
@@quietopinion9637 It’s a parallel movement not a forward motion. The status qoe is kept. The stakes may have been raised a fraction but it’s still going to be filler, love square, & inconsistent episodes, the only new thing is that they are going to blout the show with more miraculous hosts/school mates. ( You’d think that Hawk Moth would keep an eye on the class with so many hosts? Maybe pick someone outside of school?)
As much as I love miraculous, you are right. 😔 I'm also kinda glad you compare this show to Rwby instead of riverdale like alot of people been doing. 😂
I loved your Analogy on How Adrien is somewhere in the middle
@@peonisie mhm!
(albeit Real life or Emotional hang ups)
Now in these cases one could argue Person A (Luka and Kagami) should have been more aware of person B's hangups (Marinette and Adrien) or Argue that Person B, should have made more of a proactive effort to make the relationship work.
(I have been in this relationship)
Now lets look at an episode where we see Adrien and Marinette in a relationship.
But the point is still relevant)
This is not to say that Marinette and Adrien do not like Kagami and Luka, I think they do, but the feelings are not close to the ones that they had for one another and are not equal to the people they were in the relationship with.
Everyone needs to read this.
Yes!!! This is SO true!!! Really well put and well written!!!

i love miraculous ladybug videos where the person making them doesn’t treat the show like it literally sucks. thanks for this. it’s a comfort show for me and it’s really hurtful when all the analysis videos i can find are people bashing it :(
if anybody knows any other people who make ladybug analysis videos respectfully, please let me know!
Agreed
It's nice to see more positive and less nitpicky claims
Or people are allowed to talk about why they dislike the show
I KNOW RIGHT!? I thought i was the ONLY ONE who felt like this! 😭 not to be overdramatic or anything. 😂
But like, I feel like when it came to people criticizing miraculous, it at first felt like actual criticisms.
Thr umbrella scene is my faveee 😆
I love Kagami 😊 too bad they ended the relationship way too quickly
How about Gabriel's and Audrey's questioning parenting and how it affects on Adrien , Chloé and Zoé both mentally & emotionally?
FACTS
@@quietopinion9637 exactly
@@khushimodi5264 exactly. Its sad.
This comment right here. 👌
Well, Marinette could have given Luka the snake miraculous full time, which would honestly, solve a lot of problems

Why would Ladybug tell Chat everything in an instant right now.
We were told that the reveal will happen in an unexpected way and situation

Please talk more about cat blanc. I hope they dont get rid of chat noir. He helps make the show work!

Miraculous has killed ships for me
I literally almost dislike all the ships in the show and I don't even know how it got to that point. (Well except for the lovesquare)
*My theories*
Yeah those were all great theories there perfect 👌 👍

This show is still relevant? I haven't watched this show in forever.
Hell yes
It's actually just released a few episodes of Season 4, as a person in the fandom, it's pretty relevant
@@psychott6 yep 9 episodes so far but 3 aren’t in English
ehh its like the most popular thing right now,it became even more popular again ever since february when it went viral on tik tok
Then why comment bestie¿¿😩
Kagami: My mother thinks I'm not good enough at drawing
Me: Isn't your mom BLIND? 👁👄👁
Kuro neko definitely answers what the falling out.
Sometimes I think about how I started watching this show when I was the same age as the characters, and now I'm in my twenties
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who tries to see these characters as people, with people problems, and not roadblocks.
I am a little sad the alt relationships ended so quickly. I really like both Luka and Kagami as characters, so I was hoping to see more of them. To me the romantic interest tag has only one boon and that equals more potential screen time (and better animation lol). Alas, hopefully they still get plenty of focus.
Its weird that I didn't even realize any of them were actually dating officially until they broke up...
Yes I agree, I love your channel This topic needed to be talked about, Kagami is just a character yet people hate her for being kinda pushy she's misunderstood and she's realizing! I saw the episode of Luka and kagami they seem so much better together Than Mari Luka and kagami adrien!
This and your other videos on Miraculous were so informative and reasonable. If I thought I understood this show before I was wrong. Thank You!
Yeah that would be true 👍 😏
Or both?
She broke up with him cause the fandom would freak if they stayed together.
"Adrien and Kagami have similar life styles, so they're perfect for each other."
Love-Square Shippers: So you have chosen...*cataclysm*
So true TwT
23:44 I think this would be a very interesting and enjoyable video
the way you explain things is amazing. it really puts things into perspective lol
I'm taking a break on watching Miraculous, the angst it's killing me.
I still think MariChat is the better combination because I feel like that's when they're both their most relaxed and true versions of eachother.
Until Adrien falls for Marinette and until Marinette/Ladybug falls for Chat I don't actually think they're seeing their truest selves.
