Sir in 55:03, the 2nd question where V is with angle of 37 degree with L vector, we can also solve by resolving the velocity into two components i.e. Vsin37 and Vcos37. Vcos37 is parallel to l vector so e=0. Therefore e will only be due to Vsin37 component i.e. e=BlVsin37=(3BVl)/5. This way is also correct right sir??

I think in that case the charge was already in motion but in this case the electron was in rest. And the electron is not free,it is inside a conductor. So there is only one way to move.
@@mbbslaunda because for the conductor to rotate. The force must act perpendicular to the conductor, but in this case the force is acting along the axis in downward direction. Which forces the electrons to get accumulated on the bottom.

Sir in 55:03, the 2nd question where V is with angle of 37 degree with L vector, we can also solve by resolving the velocity into two components i.e. Vsin37 and Vcos37. Vcos37 is parallel to l vector so e=0. Therefore e will only be due to Vsin37 component i.e. e=BlVsin37=(3BVl)/5. This way is also correct right sir??

I think in that case the charge was already in motion but in this case the electron was in rest. And the electron is not free,it is inside a conductor. So there is only one way to move.
