    just sold most of my analog gear for a minimalist set up with an HX stomp and jet micro. Did it mostly for the ease of worship, its sometimes hard to get that worship sound for cheap and it seems worship is most of what I'm playing nowadays. You've earned a subscriber good sir!

    I completely agree that the purple is a not good. It’s my favorite color too. However, I would focus on getting those cables to stick out less. The one on the left of the Stomp looks like trouble. Thanks again for another fantastic video. I’ve been planning how to build my board for a while now and your videos are the best I have found.

    I actually think the purple looks nice. It's the fact that all the midi cables stick out so far that I ilke less; particularly the one coming out of the Hx Stomp. You're a pedalboard artist though!

    • @HeyWorshipLeader
      @HeyWorshipLeader  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      One vote for purple! Haha. Someone just sent me links to some low profile black trs to trs. But that trs to 5 pin is the one I still need to find another alternative, like you said. Thank you for your kind words. And thanks for watching!

    I think the hardest part of implementing midi for my Jackson Audio Golden Boy is getting cables that are low profile and not incredibly wide to fit input, output, power. and TRS for midi.

    • @HeyWorshipLeader

      Yes! that is a difficult part fitting all those in that tight space~

  • @tstu1701

    Thanks for the vid! By the way, you might try using one power port for the Stomp. I don't know about your power supply, but my Strymon Zuma will use more than the "rated" written amount if needed. Strymon says each port will use whatever it needs as long as the draw from all pedals doesn't exceed the total available. Some kind of regulation thing that they had to state a rated amount per port. If that works for you then you'd have an extra power port.

    MIDI is so powerful and flexible, but the trend for going to TRS jacks is a pain, because there's no set standard. The new Boss stuff even uses mini 1/8" TRS jacks. Is it tip TX or RX? Doesn't say, because they want you to buy their special $50 converter cable.

    • @HeyWorshipLeader
      @HeyWorshipLeader  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dude, you are right about this. I mean, I'm glad I can use TRS on my pedalboard rather than the bigger 5 pin, but having a standard would be a lot nicer.

    • @JeffHendricks
      @JeffHendricks 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HeyWorshipLeader Best I can figure, Boss mini TRS is using the same pinout as Korg and Akai, called TRS Midi A. Arturia and Novation swap the tip and ring, known as TRS Midi B. And then there's pedals like Chase Bliss, Empress, and Meris that do something else... maybe?
      If you have some of Boss's 200 series pedals with the mini trs jacks, the Morningstar MC3 has 4 mini jack outputs, 2 of which are Midi A, and 2 are configurable with dip switches.

    Love watching ur video!!!
    I own a Stomp and Dvp4 last year (all I have currently🤪)
    To build a compact pedalboard, what do you think is the priority should add to the HX Stomp/or the weakest in HX Stomp
    (I'm thinking add a midi controller, will it be enough?)Heard someone said overdrive/reverb/compressor...what's your opinion? Thanks a lot🙏

    • @HeyWorshipLeader
      @HeyWorshipLeader  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's awesome! I'm a firm believer that you can get all the sounds you need out of the Stomp. A midi pedal like the Little Robbie Pilot or the JET Micro would open it up enough. If I were to add anything first...it would be my favorite Reverb. The new Dynamic Hall reverb is great...but reverbs also tend to eat up the most DSP. Hope that helps!

    Could you help me out this matter with regards to the Jet REVELATION v2 with MIDI pedal? What is the Revelation's dimension? I can't find the pedal's dimension info anywhere in the internet. I'd like to know whether it can fit in my tightly packed Pedal Train Nano Plus (I will take out the Neunaber Immerse cause I really want a great sounding reverb pedal which has MIDI & storing presets). Thank you for this video.....that really is an awesome "Do Anything" pedalboard!
