They were great performers, the first basketball shoe that broke the stupid stereotype that you needed a high top, because Michael liked playing in mids and low tops, and there are a fast majority of models that can be worn as fashionable in a casual setting. Kobe Bryant’s Nike line, after the fourth model, to me is the greatest performance basketball shoe line of all time. None of them can really be worn casually or as fashion, I think the loan exception is the super unique looking really high Kobe 9 after the achilles year but that’s about it. Those two have the greatest basketball signature sneaker lines. And then, after that, I think it’s arguable between Allen Iverson, LeBron, James, and penny Hardaway.
