    My theory is that when you meditate your hemispheres synchronize, giving you access to the synthesis of information that was once segregated to the respective hemisphere. I believe it involves much more than just this- as I've experienced crazy synchronicities and truly incredible events since starting meditation. It fills in that black hole void of needing and wanting I had as a youngster. All the anger is gone. I have compassion and love and empathy- truly- now. Whatever is happening is just beautiful and profound.

      I have basically generated 3 different moments in time this year and a new job after learning about all this stuff just in the last 14 months. I was very sceptical of most things of this nature up until this all started but I have also had a bunch of precognitive dreams over the years that have been pushing me towards accepting something beyond understanding at this point is definitely happening.

    In my experience, the most peaceful and serene people are those who have had to throw away a whole belief system that no longer worked for them and build a new one that does. This usually involves some form of selfless service to others

    After many, many years of study and contemplation I felt sure in saying that all has to spring from one source, even if what happens afterwards isn't always "good" or "positive" it still has the same genesis. It's frightening and disturbing to know that the worst people to live who've done horrible things came from the same place as everyone else. I want to talk about this with people who haven't thought about reality in this way. I want to shake people and get them to wale up but I have to recall that in all likelihood forgetting what we are was intentional. The point of all this may not to remember what qe are but tp forget what we are. If true then forcing anyone from their slumber is selfish and possibly harmful. Probably why the journey to remember is so difficult. It's something you have to be 100 percent sure about and there's plenty of places to get off the trail and go back to sleep.

    It could be a different experience for every person . I did two 10 min meditations and every single aspect of my life changed in a positive way . The main changes were my perception of reality and how much influence i have on it

      How is Finland? Do the people take to this type of information , or do they scoff and ridicule?
      From what I've seen of the place through cooking and exploration shows, it's a simply wonderful and beautiful place , as long as you don't open any surstromming... I have a theory that you must have something like this in a beautiful place and Finland.., they've canned the nasty so it doesn't infect the peoples...

    Although I love the process of getting into a state of objective observation in meditation, and trying to connect to the void, I too wear an eye mask, and also noise-canceling headphones. I’m not advanced enough to tune out the hammers on the neighbor’s roof either, lol. Some day!
    The lotus aspect of Cory’s meditation was fascinating (as was the whole thing). I recently had a dream where I was strongly being beckoned to dive into a deep, murky pool of water whose surface was covered with lotus flowers. It was only about eight feet in diameter, and it felt very ominous. I was absolutely terrified and it took me a few seconds to realize I had a choice, and with great relief I chose not to go. I’m sure it was my unconscious/shadow, and I probably could’ve accessed some powerful content if I’d had the courage to dive in. I woke myself up instead.
    Michael, do you mind telling the name of that particular meditation you referenced? Thank you.

    Can you please explore more aspects of psyche and Nature such as Jung, Hillman, Plotkin, etc... and the field of Ecopsychology which delve(d) into consciousness and psyche were informed by a more eco-centric perspective. Most approaches to spiritualty are very anthropocentric which will always be informed by the ego, regardless of how much you know and practice. Nature is all around us and wants to engage with us if we are open to it. Nature can be deeply experienced anytime which is perhaps the only thing that will stop humans from destroying life on Earth. Find a sit spot and meditate outdoors If we are not grounded in Nature we not truly experiencing full consciousness and the psyche which is not in us, we are in it. More Eco and less Ego or all the meditation in the world will not lead to peace in any meaningful way.

    @THIRD EYE DROPS What is your take on the purpose of our consciousness? Are we on the path toward something by meditating? Or, as I've recently hypothesized (after your Donald Hoffmann video) could it be that the "one" consciousness that created all ours is using our experiences as a type of, like, web-crawler- like a way to map all the possibilities of consciousness? And when I say "our" I mean all the conscious beings in existence. Or- any other idea besides these. I'm just intensely interested.

      Thanks again for the super chat! To answer your question about what consciousness is from the live chat - of course there are many theories out there and I am more and less partial to many of them. But I think zooming out a bit and just reflecting on the fact that consciousness does seem to be doing something and working toward something is incredibly compelling and inspiring. Jung likened consciousness to a fire going forward through time that is growing and changing. We each have a little flame with which to see a bit truth in the darkness. I quite like that sort of “process theology.” By that I mean the idea that reality, consciousness, even spirituality is evolving and changing and we ourselves are involved in that in some small way as individuals.

      @masterninja9716 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@THIRDEYEDROPS I can feel that you're definitely further along in your understanding than I am. Because I am still in this stage where being able to just completely let go and enjoy the process of ever-changing consciousness as you've just described- feels a tad bit frightening. I want to get there, though.

    • @michaelhaas401
      @michaelhaas401 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am leery anytime questions arise in my mind regarding goals and purposes related to consciousness. If we are each manifestations of the one mind (IF!) then a linear progression model makes little sense to me. If “the one” knows the endpoint, then each of us is relegated to operating as a rat in a maze. Nothing compelling in that idea. I suspect that no one is “further along”. I’m reminded of a song line, “Is a hero’s blood more righteous than a hobo’s sip of wine?” I am seventy-one and, looking back, I realize that every concept I toted around (especially those I espoused to others) has, well, dissolved. Sounds as though I’m left with nothing, but, paradoxically, it feels somehow like I’ve gained in the journey, which, itself, seems more circuitous than linear.

    • @Alex722
      @Alex722 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@michaelhaas401 The point is you are not left in any rat race or whatever. That infinent consciousness is your consciousness.
      It just is filtered through our individualised minds, without which we wouldn’t have this sense of separate self therefore we wouldn’t have this experience of human life with interactions etc…
      You are not someone who is thrown at some game or anything. You are that consciousness which created all this.
      Even though we all feel and operate as individuals in essence oneness is our core and it’s the same for all.
      Sounds crappy and mental gymnastics, but that’s the price we pay for explaining with language what is prior to any thought.
      One indicator for our oneness of being, is the whole psychological structure. If you really observe it, you’ll find no difference (in how it operates) in all humans. For example there is no “my sadness” or your sadness in reality. It’s not personal and not exclusive.
      In the same way there is no my consciousness or your consciousness, there is only consciousness.
      The contents of it may have many differences and vary from person to person, but consciousness itself is one for all.
      Finally consciousness is prior to any thought so you could eventually realise more than what I wrote, without even reading anything at all again about those matters.
