@@SIMRIG412 I’d love to know why you don’t think this is realistic? I’ve never driven a truck in real life so if you have I’d love to hear the differences!
Someone could engineer and 3D print a cover for the pad, multiple springs in each corner with couple central supporting springs maybe some sort of tactile switch to get that authentic click. To activate the horn you could have a lever that presses one of the 8 closest side buttons since you could always remap them.
I just imagine any sim-racing company releasing a wheel that has a fake airbag in it, that is meant for simulating a driving lesson and how to react during a crash. Stuff is starting to get more and more real!
you have the mount upside down, its supposed to be facing you with the screw under the table, and to mount the wheel in the mount you put one screw in the curved place and one in one of three straight lines to your liking
It’s cool that finally at least someone came up with the idea of creating a gaming steering wheel for a truck, for several years I wondered why the American Thrustmaster and the German Fanatec wouldn’t do this, and I recently started learning about the Chinese company Moza and in just a few months they surprised me several times, I’m really looking forward to when this steering wheel and that module with levers appear on open sale, but it’s strange to me that they made so many extra buttons on the steering wheel, which probably make it additionally more expensive, and at the same time they are working on a module with levers that will have a lot of functionality that is on the steering wheel, if you removed the functions on the steering wheel that are on those levers, it would look more realistic, but in any case it’s cool, greetings from Russia and thanks for the review!
Appreciate the kind words! I I definitely get where you’re coming from! It seems they maybe should’ve fully committed to the trucking wheel, having the stalks come with the wheel! But yeah, Moses has been killing it really listening to what the people want so I’m excited to see what the future holds for them!
I'd get this wheel but I'm mainly in the thrustmaster ecosystem right now. I'm in love with HORI's new trucking system dropping this fall and I'm gonna be buying that.
They should really do a collab with Scania, Mercedes, Volvo etc and make real licensed wheels. And they should add backlight to the buttons. That would be so cool
Just so you know, truck sims far outweigh all of driving/racing sims, combined. It a huge market. About time a manufacturer finally got the news. On a related topic, PNX was the first company to recognize by providing a hi/lo shifter as part of the package.
In terms of financially you couldn’t be more wrong. Racing sims like iracing sells sooo much more and is recognised on a much larger scale by the FIA themselves.
Definitely a huge community all together. I haven’t seen as much truck sims out there but I have found a massive community on Reddit so maybe that’s where most of them are at!
@@DaveEd2499.I was speaking about the actual numbers of people, not dollars. Your statement may be true but it only proves how ridiculously expensive sim racing is.
@@daviddryden8088 Well actual numbers also doesn’t support this. Assetto Corsa, Iracing, GT7, Lemans sim, RFactor etc etc, all boast much better numbers
As a simracer and truck driver this is awesome. However for my liking I like to have the wheel closer to my body and if that wheel isn't more customizable that is going to be a deal breaker that makes me do my own clamp instead.
Does this bundle with the pedal and the shifting gears? I think the product is cool but it should have bundled this peripherals so that we could play as a full set.
Was thinking the same thing, surely it would make more sense to just turn the clamps around? not the whole unit... I cant imagine sitting like that would be comfortable either.
It would help if you were able to add artificial resistance to the wheel base so the wheel is as sensitive as in real trucks and not that jiggly like in the video when you rest your hand on it
I might be wrong but I think there is a right way of using the mount..... Ps just checked the website and I can confirm you may have used the mount upsidedown, just rotate it and you'd be good to go 😊
I can't find any viable info on how to use my Thrustmaster T248 base wheel and pedals with this wheel... Can someone please give me some directions? Thank you in advanced. Btw, great video.
I think I mounted it upside down. But that's because the way you're supposed to mount it had those long metal pieces hitting my legs while I was trying to drive lol
Honestly I don’t think that’s going to be possible. Their cheapest base is gonna be the R5 which is $300-$400 in its self. Better off getting their R5 bundle which I think is like $449 which comes with their wheel , base and pedals!

Hey! You would need some adapters to connect the shifter and pedals to your pc first. They wouldn’t plug into the wheel but yeah technically you could use them in unison with some finessing!
