Haha, indeed I was very excited! That was only the second time I've gone to Oasis in Sailwind, and the feeling of finally spotting the light house is an amazing feeling after the anxiety of losing sight of Gold Rock City!
I got this game when it first came out in early access. It looked like something I would really enjoy. Unfortunately it still had a lot of bugs and needed more time to percolate a little. Based on these videos maybe it's time to give it another try.
It's still a bit buggy at times, and occasionally I have to close the game and reload to fix a bugged crate (you can place items inside crates now, but sometimes they can't be opened until you reload), but at least for me, the bugs haven't been that frustrating. The good outweighs the bad for me, and I'm hopelessly addicted to Sailwind now. Often the most frustrating thing has been learning how to sail properly, but I finally feel like I've mastered the starting ship in the Easy region, and I'm ready to learn how to sail more advanced ships in the game!
@@MrAxebane Learning to handle a ship will be my big problem too. I understand the theory but have never done any real sailing. That was part of the problem the first time plus dealing with the usual bugs of early access. If the dev has squashed enough of the bugs I can concentrate on learning to sail. :)
Yep, you're right, I didn't realize it when I started recording this series, but there is a faint gray bar behind the tiredness bar, and this seems to be the last bit of energy you have before you pass out from exhaustion!
Thank you for asking, I'm glad folks are still interested! The short answer is: I haven't been able to do any game development for a few months, but I want to get back to it very soon! My current guess is that Project Ruststorm will probably be finished by late 2025!
Taking me a bit to catch up, the excitement in your voice when you spotted the oasis light house was pretty epic.

I've noticed a fainter second bar behind the tiredness bar that might tell when you're about to pass out maybe

Good to hear. I really like project ruststorm. I think it is a very good game and it has helped me out with my own game development
