This is literally what i have been needing.. Im lifting heavy, training for triathlon, but trying to loose chunk at the same time.. Im down 25lbs since xmas whilst managing to support training for a sprint tri, but now I have an Olympic in 12 weeks, and want to cut more weight in the process.
This is a fountain of information. Something I've never truly done was "feed back in" whenever there are intensive training sessions. I think this may be something that has h8ndered weightloss and performance fore years as after those monster sessions (8+ miles of running, 2 Hours of Jiu Jitsu), I am CRATERED. Will keep this in mind going forward and apply some of the thoughts here to see if it helps. Thanks so much Fergus!
I’m sort of doing the opposite but this is very interesting. I’m 6’7” 260 and I’m very good at power cleans bench press etc (American football workouts) now working on training for a marathon. Big change but I’m loving the increase in carb consumption and running makes me feel great!
