I almost died during this hike | Visoke, Rwanda

Hi everybody, I hiked to the top of Mount Visoke (Bisole). Usually a good climber, I experienced altitude sickness very quickly, something I had never encountered before. I still carried on and hired a porter to help me. When I came home, my medical doctor got mad at me for not turning back. It seems that altitude sickness can become dangerous. In any case, it was a fantastic day out but one of the most challenging of my life for obvious reasons.

Good point. In french we write it both with a V or a B but had the feeling all locals said Bisoke. Thank you for clarifying
