- What a crazy week it's been in spaceflight. We've had action from China's Change-6 on the far side of the moon, Boeing's Starliner finally takes flight, SpaceX Starship overcomes the odds during it's fourth integrated flight test, Virgin Galactic fly VSS Unity for the last time and we remember Apollo 8 astronaut Bill Anders.

Bill Anders gave us all so much! He gave us a look at our Earth that really made a difference. From the Big Blue Marble to the Pale Blue Dot, we are affected by these profound views of OUR place in the cosmos.
We hear the time-worn and increasingly inaccurate old platitude: There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots, but there are no old, bold pilots.
Bill Anders suffered no one to say that about him. He went out doing what he loved. I join millions (billions?) of others in thanking him for his service to his country, to science, to aviation, and humanity. Godspeed, Bill Anders! May your soul fly unfettered by physics and chemistry through the cosmos you helped explore.
Oh...yeah...and all the rest of the rockets launched were cool, too., huh?🤣🤣
Whew...we can't top this week, can we?
Have a great week, and much aloha to you and yours!
Couldn't have put it any better Jim. A life well lived and if there's ever a way to go, I want it to be doing something I love.
Thanks again for watching! Mahalo
An exciting week in spaceflight indeed and one to savour. Not just Starship, it's great to see a variety of launch providers achieving firsts all round the world and beyond. Thanks for your coverage Tom.
As a kid growing up watching the space shuttle I wouldn't have believed the world of spaceflight we now live in!
Thanks for you support, always appreciated!
Great video Tom, packed with information. Nicely done.
Thanks so much!
What…. A……. Week!!! Nice one again Tom! Thanks
Makes most weeks look utterly tame! Thanks Gav!
@@tomduneofficial the fact that big news got drowned last week is incredible. Snooze fest this week?😂
Exactly! Three or four big events... plus the tourist flight... Would ordinarily be enough for a year, let alone a week!
What a busy week in space, not so long ago you'd wait months/years between updates for exciting space related news. Great video - you deserve more subscribers for your quality output Tom.
It really is an amazing time we live in! All that in one week, even a fee years ago, would have seemed unbelievable.
Thanks Maximus, will keep working hard to put out the best I can for you guys, regardless of the count 😊
Just caught up with this. Been busy being a tourist. Yes it's been a busy month for space. Great space news coverage as usual, and a lovely tribute to William Anders. Looking forward to hearing more from the far side mission. Keep up the great work. 👍
Thanks Jim! Enjoy the remainder of your wee vacation!
Star-liner bit optimistic, more like brown-skid-liner 😂😂😂
