According to her and her siblings she’s “an adult” but in medieval times that started at 12, and given the fact that this is IS’s take on an Ancient European setting, might as well subtract 3... so I would conclude she’s a five-year-old in a nine-year-old’s body

Xander and Sakura walk in right after finishing their S-support, eager to share their news with the rest. They are greeted with the sight of Ryoma and Elise sitting against each other, crafting daisy chains with blushes and smiles, talking in pet-names to each other. Xander speaks, his hand still sweetly joined with Sakura's, before the imagery even registers in his head: "Lord Ryoma, I have something to--" The eyes of the siblings all meet in a hushed tension, the swordmaster's gaze flickering to the joined hands of the Nohrian prince and his sister's, the latter's mind in a daze at the sight of the flowers in both his rival's hands and his sisters... Both sides' jaws lay open, trembling unnoticably, the meeker of the sisters clutching Xander's waist for protection on instinct, the other sister's violet eyes sparkling in awe of the sheer unbelievability of this scene.
Then at once, as if suddenly dropped back into reality from the back of a pegasus, thunderous laughter fills the room from all four of them, as the ludicrousness of it all catches up to them. Could there ever have been a more poetic way for two kingdoms to unite!? No justifications or explanations are needed, the four ex-rivals understand perfectly and mutually agree that it is a wonderful turn of events in all of their lives.
Even so, the paladin gives a lighthearted-but-firm warning to his new in-law: "I'm happy for you, but if you make my sister cry, I'll take those daisy chains and tie your wrists to my horse with them!" Elise steps on her brother's shin, warning him to be nice. They all share another round of laughs.
I better see a full one grand word fan fic of this on fanfic dot net man... I want to see this all played out in a more grander scale....

+SchwaWarrior Unfortunately, his shin is covered with armor as well, and so Elise ends up stubbing her foot as always.
One small complaint. The Hoshido/Nohr royals don't call their counterparts Lord/Lady, they call them Prince/Princess. This is because Lord/Lady implies that the person they're talking to is above them while calling them Prince/Princess implies that they are social equals. So Xander would never call Ryoma "Lord Ryoma".

This is a lot more touching imo once you know what happens to them in Conquest and Birthright. Probably my favorite pairing of Revelations.
These two are more similar than people think. I can think of many spoiler-ish reasons but one that isn't spoilers is that they both just want peace between the kingdoms.

In awakening, having a... Young character with a child wasn't TOO bad since hey, most of the kids weren't even born in the present, rather they were born sometime in the future (exception being Lucina)
But in Fates, they have the child the moment they're married, then just put said child into another dimension and let tome relativity do the fast forwarding

Elise is considered an “adult” by her siblings and herself, however, this is in a European Medieval setting, in which case the age of adulthood was roughly 12. Now, since this is a fictional world and a portrayal of an Ancient European setting by IS, we can already subtract 3 years from that. So, legality aside, she is either way too young, or the world of Fates is really screwed as far as marriage ethics

Elise is what? 15? 16? With the maturity of a proper adult. Luckier than most noble and Royal born children who were married off at 13 never meeting their spouse till the wedding and it had been planned before they were even born. And it's not like Ryoma is interested in her because of her age.
