I am not a huge fan of Ivy’s meet but would still like to have it someday to complete her. Blair is just Blair and I just think she is adorable. Oh man this was such a good video. I came back after the Grammys (red carpet on E & the actual awards show) to watch a second time. The first time it was so hard to focus on the actual video while following along with the chat as the 2 year old screamed and the 6 year loudly pestered my husband in the background. I must say that there are so many great collections out there and I loved seeing all of them. It’s so nice seeing all of the ways different collectors display and dress their dolls. I also want to say thank you so much for showing my collection. It means a lot. This is the first time they’ve ever really been shown publicly. I’m working up the courage and time to actually post photos to Instagram since I now finally have an account. And very true - the dolls are kind of all over the house lol. It’s so cool to be able to walk down the hallway or look over while throwing a load of laundry in the washer/dryer and appreciate whichever doll/s might be there. I actually even have some dolls currently in the kitchen that I brought in there to dress in my recent Maplelea haul. They are lined up on the sideboard and I haven’t had the heart or frankly the energy to move them back to their appropriate spots yet. I actually kind of feel bad for the bulk of the collection in the basement doll room because I hardly ever get down there. Oh, and since I sent in those photos I got that 76 you recommended and unboxed Willa, 103, 86 and a second Corinne that I’m customizing. And I’m not really sure why I moved Garnet to that bottom shelf next to Laurel my 89 since he’s always been next to Caroline before.
I wondered if some of the folks who were active in the chat would go back and watch again lol. And it was my pleasure to feature your collection. I kind of love that it's all over the house and I get what you mean about feeling bad about the dolls in your basement being seen less. I do try to rotate mine fairly regularly because I know I spend the most time looking at whoever's in my office since they're my coworkers for the day.

Wow, some absolutely amazing collections in this video! Thanks - it took a lot longer than I expected to put it together, but I think it was worth it. I agree- videos like this are great. I included pics from every single person that submitted them. I could see that getting harder as a channel grows, but I hope to try to figure out a way to do this occasionally.

This was a really great video! I so enjoyed seeing everyone’s collections especially the ones from Instagram because I am not very active there so I saw a lot of new dolls. I must have missed the post to submit photos but I was very happy to see others get highlighted in the community. I did notice my collection in last years thumbnail. ☺️. And my 7 customs all have different face molds and all 8 girls have different eye colors. I agree with you re: Molly's BeForever outfit. I think it's adorable too and I love my Mini Molly in that outfit. I LOVE the tiny red saddle shoes and I LOVE that I know have 18" red saddle shoes thanks to AG's End of Season sale. :) Thanks for sharing all of these collections with us!

@@agtakesover lol, it's about 12' x 8'. It's a spare bedroom. The shelves I have most of the dolls on are about 9' long. The way I have them standing, I can fit two rows of 27 dolls across the shelves. I bought 6 6' boards and cut two in half then mounted them on brackets. 😄

I just had a creative idea how to store my dolls so they can stand up . I have a board and plastic drawer bins. I’m going to put the board on top of the bins hopefully there’s enough room.

I absolutely do NOT sew sadly but I have managed to find some wonderfully talented seamstresses on FB, Etsy and in real life and they keep my Dollie’s looking absolutely amazing. One of my absolute favorites is the Mrs . Claus Christmas dress. I have tried it on girls in my collection but I always come back to putting it on Elizabeth because she looks perfect in it! This was a great idea for a video and I just love your commentary in it. Thanks again for including me and some of my collection.💕💕 And yes all of my dolls have on undies, that’s what happens when you grow up with a Mom that reminds you to always wear fresh undies every day, it spills over to even your doll collection!!❤❤LOL :)

I only have 1990's Samantha, 1990's Felicity (my favorite... shhhh), Caroline (my favorite era girl), Rebecca, and my newest who has quickly become my 2nd favorite Maryellen. My 7 yr old has a new Beforever Samantha (I wanted her to have her generation of Samantha) and doesn't know it until her birthday party on the 17th... a new 88 she has wanted for two years.
Haha. I always feel a little bad when I share my thoughts on Felicity lol. I know she's very beloved. And there *are* some Felicity dolls I think are beautiful...a few ;-) That's exciting your daughter will be surprised with a doll she's been wanting for so long!
@agtakesover My love of Felicity and Caroline has a lot to do with her era... I'm a historical reenactor of those two eras... so the clothes for colonial and War of 1812 Ohio are my "comfort". I'm writing historical fiction books for both eras, so that's why I tend to stay with those two girls. Maryellen is just gorgeous and I have been collecting vintage vinyls for years since my mom gave me her collection, so she feeds into my love of the 1950-1960's music.

Yes - I think I interact a LOT in the comments. And I've done the Q & A videos, which involve viewers. But this was a new level of audience interaction for sure. It was more work than I predicted lol, but totally worth it.

However i love my small AG Doll collection.i currently have 8 Doll's an i turned my bookcase horizontally to become a AG Doll house just till i find a reasonably priced AG House that can be delivered 😢. It took more time and energy than I expected to create this video, so the most frequently I would do it is once a year. But I think it was worth the effort so I'm definitely up for doing it again. Also, thank you for being concerned about my health. Sometimes I sound froggy if I do voice over work first thing in the morning (throat's gotta warm up) but I think you're right. When I filmed this I did have a bit of a cold. It was a stubborn one but I'm feeling better.
Hope here :) both Rebecca and Joss have their original wigs, although Rebecca is about to get a wig swap because her original one is completely fried (the previous owner straightened it to try cover up the damage, but it's still impossible to get a brush through because of all the damage underneath). Joss was bought to be a custom pilgrim character, however I haven't gotten my act together and made her clothes yet, so she's currently dressed as Edwardian. I'm not really a girl of the year collector, but Mia was so pretty I couldn't resist. Those unique freckles! That amazingly thick wig! Mia is my 1950s Maryellen stand in most of the time because I don't care for Maryellen's bangs, but to me they look somewhat similar. At the moment she's wearing one of Addy's dresses though, because I can't bear to take Addy out of her Christmas dress (my absolute favourite) but i wanted somebody to be modelling my latest purchase (the kite flying dress).
Ooh, thank you for filling in so many blanks. I thought I vaguely recognized the dress Mia was wearing but I'm not versed enough in Addy's collection to feel certain. It's funny - Maryellen (like Courtney) is a doll where I'm team "love the collection, pass on the doll" so I can relate.
Aw, I'm glad you enjoyed it. There were far fewer submissions for the dollhouse video, but still plenty of good ones and it'll be a feast for the eyes.

No, there's a non-AG doll behind Makena if you look under her arm. Go check it again. I think someone said it's a Rainbow High doll peeking through there :-)
I'm definitely open to doing this again. It was more work than I predicted, so not more than once a year lol. But the work was worth it. When I ask for "audience participation" I typically do it via a community post on the channel, so that's a good spot to keep an eye on :-)

A lot of beautiful dolls, and yes, please do this again sometime!
I'll probably do it no more than once a year, but I'm definitely open to doing it again. It took longer than I expected to put it all together, but it was worth it.
I loved this video, such a fun idea and it was so interesting to see all of the collections. I feel like it's a great way to get to know the collectors behind them.
I totally agree! It was more work than I anticipated, but totally worth it. It's something I feel like I will do again since I enjoyed seeing so many collections and it is a nice way to really interact with other folks in the community.

Glad you enjoyed it! I think I'll aim to do it again at the beginning of next year. It was totally worth the work, but it *was* more involved than I expected, so once a year seems doable :)

@@agtakesover lol, it's about 12' x 8'. It's a spare bedroom. The shelves I have most of the dolls on are about 9' long. The way I have them standing, I can fit two rows of 27 dolls across the shelves. I bought 6 6' boards and cut two in half then mounted them on brackets. 😄

I'm up for doing another one, but it will be a while. I probably would do them once a year at most. So at the end of this year keep an eye out - I'll announce it via community post whenever I do another one. It was great to see so many ppl's collections!
I just had a creative idea how to store my dolls so they can stand up . I have a board and plastic drawer bins. I’m going to put the board on top of the bins hopefully there’s enough room.

I absolutely do NOT sew sadly but I have managed to find some wonderfully talented seamstresses on FB, Etsy and in real life and they keep my Dollie’s looking absolutely amazing. One of my absolute favorites is the Mrs . Claus Christmas dress. I have tried it on girls in my collection but I always come back to putting it on Elizabeth because she looks perfect in it! This was a great idea for a video and I just love your commentary in it. Thanks again for including me and some of my collection.💕💕
And yes all of my dolls have on undies, that’s what happens when you grow up with a Mom that reminds you to always wear fresh undies every day, it spills over to even your doll collection!!❤❤LOL :)

This was a bit more work than I anticipated so I won't do it more than once a year, but I'm open to it becoming a recurring thing.

Thanks - I'm planning to do this again at the beginning of 2025. It's time-consuming, but so worth it to get to spotlight some other folks' collections.
I only have 1990's Samantha, 1990's Felicity (my favorite... shhhh), Caroline (my favorite era girl), Rebecca, and my newest who has quickly become my 2nd favorite Maryellen.
My 7 yr old has a new Beforever Samantha (I wanted her to have her generation of Samantha) and doesn't know it until her birthday party on the 17th... a new 88 she has wanted for two years.
Haha. I always feel a little bad when I share my thoughts on Felicity lol. I know she's very beloved. And there *are* some Felicity dolls I think are beautiful...a few ;-) That's exciting your daughter will be surprised with a doll she's been wanting for so long!
@agtakesover My love of Felicity and Caroline has a lot to do with her era... I'm a historical reenactor of those two eras... so the clothes for colonial and War of 1812 Ohio are my "comfort". I'm writing historical fiction books for both eras, so that's why I tend to stay with those two girls.
Maryellen is just gorgeous and I have been collecting vintage vinyls for years since my mom gave me her collection, so she feeds into my love of the 1950-1960's music.

Yes - I think I interact a LOT in the comments. And I've done the Q & A videos, which involve viewers. But this was a new level of audience interaction for sure. It was more work than I predicted lol, but totally worth it.

Yeah,I'm also sooòo bummed i missed this.I am only collecting AG Doll's a few month's. However i love my small AG Doll collection.i currently have 8 Doll's an i turned my bookcase horizontally to become a AG Doll house just till i find a reasonably priced AG House that can be delivered 😢. It took more time and energy than I expected to create this video, so the most frequently I would do it is once a year. But I think it was worth the effort so I'm definitely up for doing it again. Also, thank you for being concerned about my health. Sometimes I sound froggy if I do voice over work first thing in the morning (throat's gotta warm up) but I think you're right. When I filmed this I did have a bit of a cold. It was a stubborn one but I'm feeling better.

Hope here :) both Rebecca and Joss have their original wigs, although Rebecca is about to get a wig swap because her original one is completely fried (the previous owner straightened it to try cover up the damage, but it's still impossible to get a brush through because of all the damage underneath). Joss was bought to be a custom pilgrim character, however I haven't gotten my act together and made her clothes yet, so she's currently dressed as Edwardian. I'm not really a girl of the year collector, but Mia was so pretty I couldn't resist. Those unique freckles! That amazingly thick wig! Mia is my 1950s Maryellen stand in most of the time because I don't care for Maryellen's bangs, but to me they look somewhat similar. At the moment she's wearing one of Addy's dresses though, because I can't bear to take Addy out of her Christmas dress (my absolute favourite) but i wanted somebody to be modelling my latest purchase (the kite flying dress).
Ooh, thank you for filling in so many blanks. I thought I vaguely recognized the dress Mia was wearing but I'm not versed enough in Addy's collection to feel certain. It's funny - Maryellen (like Courtney) is a doll where I'm team "love the collection, pass on the doll" so I can relate.

I don’t collect her since she’s so old and rare but I believe the doll being the Makena is the very 1st Asian American girl of today/truly me doll released in the mid 90s
No, there's a non-AG doll behind Makena if you look under her arm. Go check it again. I think someone said it's a Rainbow High doll peeking through there :-)

I'm definitely open to doing this again. It was more work than I predicted, so not more than once a year lol. But the work was worth it. When I ask for "audience participation" I typically do it via a community post on the channel, so that's a good spot to keep an eye on :-)
