Riddle's mother truamatized Trey and it's hinted that Riddle has the same fury his mother wields, which makes him very apprehensive, but also guilty for "not being a better friend" like Ace mentioned once. The softer Riddle becomes, the better the bond and affection Trey seems to gives him. It's a very deep and sincere dynamic.

I literally have been meaning to leave a comment for the longest time now! I was super excited to see the Riddle and Trey relationship summary video in my subscriptions for another account yesterday! I hope this does not sound silly (and I apologize if this title is a little long, haha) but Riddle and Trey’s relationship was on my list of “Relationship summary videos I really want to see that will likely happen in the future.” Some other relationships on the list include: Cater and Trey, Leona and Jamil, and Leona and Kalim, respectively. Speaking of Cater, thank you for having a part of the video dedicated to how he ties into Riddle’s and Trey’s dynamic or relationship since it isn’t uncommon to see them all together. All in all, though, I always look forward to all relationship summary videos and all uploads in general! :D I absolutely love your channel and the variety and scopes of topics covered in your videos and find them very informative! I watch every upload as they happen! With an ongoing narrative as big as Twisted Wonderland, there is a lot of information to remember and keep track of, so your videos really help with that as well. When looking at translation differences specifically, if you would’ve asked me a few years ago if I even knew that localizations can be rocky and not the most accurate in areas, I would have said no. When I started be more active in fandom spaces is when I came across posts dedicated to translation changes and their significance. It seems to me like Trey just like to cover for Riddle and has gotten to the point where his facts aren't lining up. Makes me wonder which ones are actually true or not.
Spoiler of book 7 Now that everyone is having a dream about how their "ideal" life would be, I've always wondered how Trey' dream would be, he always seemed ok with everything that we don't really know is he happy and satisified with his life or he's just pretending (or perhaps, not willing to face his emotions). Thanks for the video, it really made me realize how deep the relationship between these two.
