To this day I remember listening to the sample and being so stoked when it appeared on the album track list to then be so very much let down to find out that it was a “newer” version that frankly can’t even hold a candle to this demo. This demo version is gold and made the song simple, sweet and genuinely uplifting…all of which was lost in the version that is on the album. IMO
@@bordjen I’ve read somewhere years ago that they heard first version of Who’d Of Known and they let her release it despite being obviously based on Shine but told her to make the melody even more similar to Shine, dunno if its all 100% true
