Thanks Russell - I've been using Twee to extract text from YT, but the free version is so limited, this currently looks so much more generous! The issue with raw TH-cam transcript is all the time stamps, inaccuracy and lack of punctuation, so this should save time, and it's great to get a bonus MP3 too. It'll be interesting to see how it copes with the New Zealand accent, that also sends YT into a headspin :),

Great to see this. It's the one I've been waiting for. As the poster above, I've been using Twee for under 5 min transcriptions. This will mean I can create listening activities much more easily. Thanks for posting 😊
twee is the best technology , I use it for a number of things .but this one takes us a step further bec it can combine other activities and be used with chat GPT etc.
