I didn't know before that Joe Hisoishi was an electronic music composer. Something like Ryuichi Sakamoto, but in a completely different way, and more expressive and catchy.
I was told Hisaishi mainly used a Fairlight CMI synthesizer, but I have no information on the individual sounds that were used as samples. I would like to recreate his sound using the Arturia CMI V vst plugin, but I'm not that experienced in making music. I can let you know if I get more information :)
@@MilaHyperstar @Arvid Olson There were a good few different organ samples that came with the Fairlight CMI around the time Hisaishi adopted it in '83 or '84. While I cannot find information saying the Fairlight CMI was used for Cinderella Labyrinth, The BGM for "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" were created with the Fairlight- the film has its fair share of both released and unreleased tracks that are musically similar to Cinderella Labyrinth. Considering the film came out the same month as Cinderella Labyrinth, it would be quite a shock if the instrumentation was radically different between them, with them already sounding similar. As far as exact voices, I'm having a hard time identifying any specific voices from the 1st track, though I would like to identify them someday. It's not unlikely that the voices used were modified a fair bit from their form as raw samples. Hope this information is at least a little bit helpful!
Actually, the organ sound might be a real Hammond, as Hisaishi listed it as one of the instruments used in his Kissho Tennyo Image Album, along with the Roland MC-4, Fairlight CMI, DX7, Prophet 5, SH-101, TR-808 and the Linndrum. To be honest, you can probably achieve a very similar sound with the DX7, as it is excellent for organ-like sounds.

学生の時、レコード屋さんにこのアルバムないですか？と聞いたら、良い人で問い合わせて下さいました。結果、製造中止・・在庫確認で、まだある・・と言うことで取り寄せてもらって今もこのレコードもってます。
子供やったので分かりませんでしたが、今、あの時のレコード屋さんに感謝しかありません。
本当にありがとうございます！はじめて買ったレコードで最近実家で見つけましたがプレーヤーがなくて聞けませんでした。氷室さんが大好きで読みあさっていた頃が鮮明に思い出されます。シンデレラ迷宮は三部作だったらしいのですが。今聞いても素晴らしいアルバムです。
氷室冴子さんのシンデレラ迷宮が大好きでした。このアルバムは今でも大切に持っています。久石譲さんがこの作品の後に、ジブリ作品の世界観を大きく担って広げる方になろうとは、当時は予想も付かなかったですが、今、こうして改めて聴くと納得しかないです。懐かしく聴かせて頂きました。アップして下さって感謝しております。

この一曲目は今聴いても当時の夢の中に誘い込まれるよう。久石譲だったとは知らなかった
懐かしい！友達から借りて「こんな世界かあるんだ！」(イメージアルバムとかドラマのサントラとかの存在)驚きました。

Track B3 is verry close to the music used when Nausicaa saves Asbel from the insects), but not quite. Might be a different mix of the same track?
Quite sure the opening sample on A5 is used in the film
