My guess is that the out of bounds items are placed in every (or almost every room) as a template. When you kill enemies, game copies these items as pick-ups with randomly assigned amount. Not sure why the shotgun is there, could be that the programmers couldn't generate shotgun ammo drops, so the shotgun is a proxy for shotgun ammo drops. Also the game crashed with the green eye, because in the campaign you pick up insignia and place green eye to prevent the gate from closing. You picked up the green eye and the game tried to close the gate, but there are assets missing (animation? camera position?) since you're in the wrong chapter. All conjecture. My guess.
it's amazing that the game can load into Leon storyline without crashing. I guess Capcom based from the same code as Leon campaign with some tweak & forget to remove other code.
I like your content. One that is in English and easy to understand. I have a hard time understanding other RE4 content because it is in Japanese and Spanish T_T
In other versions people found legit ways to go out of bounds (in the farm with blue medallions you could use ditman glitch and fence animation to go out of bounds). Picking up Ada's shotgun results in the game crashing.
@@HDDoggyStyleyou can actually equip her shotgun but it just appears as the regular one and you cant upgrade it. i did a play through with it on xbox 360.
