Have had mine for 6 years. Four-five good hikes per year and continuous wear during winters, and two weeks shooting course in the Army. Still like new. Always had Meindl in the past but like these better. Great review by the way, honest and elaborate.
Thanks for the review, I have 10 months using mine, they’re still like new, I replaced the insoles with more comfortable ones and so far they’re great 👍🏽
I’ve had and used mine for 5 years now. My only complaint is that the cushion in the footbed is fairly thin. Otherwise it’s the most comfortable and quiet boot I’ve owned. I’ve had no issue with laces or squeaking.
Ive been through three pair. I use these boots for backpacking and as my primary footwear in my landscape business. They are very comfortable and don't restrict movement. I don't recommend them for daily work use. the wear and tear on the boot overall is expected but the outsole (the tread on the bottom) wears down to nothing in one season. They aren't meant to be re soled so that makes these a one season boot which is simply not gonna cut it for $240 boots. I'll be trying something different
@@worldsinked Even if they were made to be resoled I don’t think I’d bother as the upper isn’t known to be very long lasting either. I like them because they’re comfortable and fit my feet really well. Durability is the biggest downside for sure

My Gufferts will stomp these

Is the new MK2 version better in wet and slippery conditions on grass, stone and mud?
Just bought the high ones in black. Like them so far
Where from?
Thank you for the great review. What would be your top recommendation for a balanced boot (comfy & durable)
For comparable use, I’d recommend Haix based on my experience. I have a video on my channel reviewing one pair from them.
@@combatboots101 Thank you Sir!
Very cool boot. Great review. What color is that? Desert or Coyote?
Coyote
Thanks for a great & honest review !
Lowa boots is where it’s at, if you know, you know

Soles on both shoes came right off. Had them for three years but rarely wore them. Super disappointed.
Really slow and boring video with some excellent points. Thank you for sharing
@@poopenshnapples7160 With points so excellent they compelled you to sit through a slow and boring video. Thank you for watching
@@combatboots101 Stretching and washroom break 🤣
@@poopenshnapples7160 aah, I understand. I'm sorry I didn't know
No judgement here bro. All the best
@@combatboots101 Perfectly edited for it!
The lace gets loose very easily
Utter junk. Both squeek after after 2 months light wear, and warranty is non-existant. Learn from my mistake - avoid this expensive junk.
I don't care if they squeak will they take some everyday abuse? Or will they rip and turn into trash
Mine will never rip because they squeak so bad i can’t wear them. They’re too annoying to wear.
