- Procedure was just an overnight stay. For anyone out there contemplating a Prostate reduction feel free to contact me. My email is under the about tab of my channel. The doctor that did the RASP helped develop it and obtained FDA approval back in 2014.
The only negative is I’m not allowed to ride for about six weeks- just about the right time for the Texas heat to be gone.

Went thru prostate removal 22 years ago. Hang in there you can do this. Enjoy your channel.
Ray, thx. Mine was benign so this RASP process was through the front and the bladder. One incision probably three inches long and two small dots all below the navel. I have a catheter for a week and can’t lift too much or ride but should have normal functionality going forward. Technology has come a long way in 22 years, thankfully for me. I hope and pray you are doing well.

Yes sir it is. I had to pass some milestones today before they’d discharge me mostly walk a straight line as the anesthesia kicks me down a couple of notches and hold solid food. My daughter came up from College Station to play chauffeur.
You should remember that tune as I’ve used it before and it’s upbeat. Thx for watching.

So what happened in your garage? Saw that last night.
My surgery was BPH. Typical old man issues. Somewhat routine but still I have a catheter until next Monday.

@@RidingHumboldtCounty I did in college until I ran some before and after steps on a pothead in my human physiology class. Haven’t since.
@@DFWMoose yeah it just makes me feel anxious. I already have anxiety issues and pot just enhances whatever you’re feeling. If you’re feeling good pot can be a great thing if taken in moderation but yeah it smells like skunk up here everywhere you go

It’s been an interesting couple of weeks. I’m ready to get back into the saddle but it will be next weekend. Been restricted from lifting more than ten pounds and that put a damper on everything.
No cancer in the prostate so that means the surgeon left about 1/3 and removed 2/3rds
I’d do it again but would learn from my mistakes.
