The disposal store closest to me used to be amazing for good finds now the new owner is insane and overprices everything. Absolutely worn out Amcu (Australian mulicam) is $200 and a jacket is $400
The US hot Weather top looks off like a trial piece. The arm pockets and lack of Velcro on the sleeves are different from the final cut. The shoulder and chest stitching is also different.
Hello Mr Uniform History, Would it be possible to do an overview of the PRC's modern camo system? They've consolidated it to PLA Type 21 and variants and PAP Type 21 and variants. It would also be really cool to see why Type 19 was phased out, as I can hardly find any information online. Thanks.
@@tovarisch3490 yeah it's a pattern specific to the Irish defense forces which was issued from the early 2000s it replaced OD uniforms used by the defense forces and reserves, it's getting replaced with a variant multicam soon
Is that the experimental version of the US hot weather top, because it's definitely more muticam rather than scorpion and has zippered pockets? Also I've seen two different forms of the Current IHWCU one with a pocket flap without Velcro. Which I assume to be the older version and one with Velcro on the pocket flap perfectly sized for the flag
Also the Saudi Pattern shown here is very similar to the current Latvian pattern as far as pattern shape just a different color way. I'm sure you are aware of that though.
IHWCU top you got is an trial one, with much better bicep pockets IMO, when compared to the final design. Also looks like material is different, it is not ripstop?
It is called dpcu not “dcpu” Disruptive pattern camouflage. And the Dessert cams are disruptive pattern desert uniform If you are looking to acquire some Amcu for your collection (the new Aussie multicam) reply to this comment and let’s get in touch hey

The habitat for humanity near me is trying to charge 65$ for woodland bdu sets, it's getting ridiculous
I went all the way down to Gympie to try and find some amc but old mate reckoned he isn’t getting any til December
@Aussie_collector at this point platatac and BL tac would be cheaper than qld disposal stores.

Crack is less addictive than collectable MiSurp camo.
and cheaper.
Wow that Saudi pattern looks awesome
Is that Irish smock made by Arktis? It looks like their take on the the classic British windproof smock.

Was Irish DPM designed seperate from British? As it looks very different for the similar names.
It was specifically designed for the Irish climate and terrain unlike the British which was suited to all areas of British operations
@@gdarcyie so produced and designed separately? As the shapes are a lot more round than the brushstrokes of British DPM

Also the camo doesn't Look like scorpion at all, more like some multicam replica
Krushiki!
Was that Australian uniform jacket in pink camouflage pattern❤❤❤❤❤
No brown, grey, very light blue and purple on a yellow background.
Hey, ¿Podrías hacer un vídeo sobre el patron de camuflaje pixelado (boscoso y desértico) del ejército Español?
Only thing i see missing is set of DPNU.
And the red OPFOR stuff. There's a few nice examples on eBay right now but none of it is within my budget.
Multicam strikes again.
Always great information. Keep up the great work. Sending my best from the @mikeinmexico channel.
