Awesome USN!! My Mom was a WWII vet serving in the Women's Army Corps in New Guinea and Haiti as a Radio operator. Growing up with such a strong role model gave me great respect for women at an early age. God bless you all and thank you for all of your sacrifices!!
Absolutely fantastic,……my mom was a member of the Danish Home Guard during the WW2 and she carried the pain of that service for the rest her life. Thank you for putting an uplifting feeling about all women serve and have served.
THAT was exhilarating! As a woman, it makes me feel such pride, and, hits the feels. So nice to note that it is each person, side by side, supporting each other, that makes beautiful music.
I just read about this combination of the original Anchors Aweigh, sung with the WAVES descant, in Liza Mundy's book "Code Girls." According to her, "the harmony was so moving and powerful that [WAVE] Frances Lynd said it made the hair stand up on the back of her neck."
God bless the members of the Navy, in this case the women in WW2 for their courage and sacrifice. I think that belong to Navy is a great honor and that it is impossible to forget. And thank you so much for The anthem of USA Navy, the most powerful in the world. God bless their member too, for their sacrifice for all of us in these terrible days we are living. Best wishes from Spain!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤🙏so nice, a very good performance, god bless america and all in active service and especially my favorite unit 2-2 ACR and all its members TOUJOURS PRET🇺🇲🇺🇸

Wonderful! My mother was a WAVE in WW II! She never thought what she did was important! I always tried to tell her different as a fellow veteran!
Hearing this again is just amazing and brings back so many memories of over 50 years ago
