To start the car in race mode , you have to press the start up button without pressing the brake and then select race mode and then start the engine.

You seem to reviewing this car like it’s a family car, trunk space or door pockets are not what this car is about.

I own one of these too. Storage is actually very good for a true sports car. So, I don’t get his gripe. Visibility does have some limitations but again not unusual for a true sports car. I do agree that its not one of the better visibility sports cars. The front end length is a problem parking. I had a Corvette with the front camera and it was a life saver. I am always on edge pulling up to a front end curb to park. But since I know its a very long, I am conservative on pulling forward. On the ride, it is truly a sports car ride. I don’t think he’s being fair since his car is riding on larger rims than factory and it’s been lowered. As for start up, I agree that its great to have the full exhaust at start up. You can make this happen though. Before putting your foot on the brake pedal, hit the start button and that fires up the center console controls. Select the exhaust or ride setting you want and then put your foot on the brake pedal and hit the start button again. It’ll start up and wake up the neighbors like you wanted it to. I don’t get the gripe with the seats. They are extremely adjustable and have lumbar air supports etc. i love my GTS. It’s a head turner. It’s a beast of a performer. I smile every time I get in it and even when I get out of it, I smile just looking at it as I walk away from it.

No space in a super car? What else, the sun is to bright for you?

To get a louder exhaust start-up, try putting the vehicle in accessory mode (press the start button without your foot on the brake) to turn all the electronics on, without the engine being on.

The reason the car always starts in comfort by default is likely because of an emissions and sound regulation loophole that existed before 2019 in which manufacturers were able to get away with crazy exhaust notes due to the decibels being measured at the setting in which the car started up in and not the highest setting: Race mode.

I am about to decide to buy an amg gts 2016 year and I have seen many videos and opinions about it, I love how it looks aesthetically and its engine, but your video took me out of many doubts, it would be my only car therefore I am almost decided to buy a panamera 2017 turbo full black sport pack! Thanks for your review

Did you just film this video to make a video or you are really concerned about not having a huge trunk in a $100k sports car?

The firmness of the seats is a valid point, as that can be changed without altering the purpose of the car, though too fluffy seating will likely offend others. Sports cars, by definition, have poorer visibility at the helm and less cargo space.

I’m glad I viewed the video to the end, because I was furious of your complaints and thinking, “why the hell did this guy even buy this car?” But in the end, you actually like this car. This car is awesome, and every dislike you mentioned is true, but people who have issue of what you complained about, probably should not buy a car like this. This car and any car like this is made for true super car enthusiasts, only. If you want comfort, storage, and ground clearance, buy a sedan or SUV. If you want excellent handling coupled with and a powerful responsive engine, this is the car to own.
