• volleys
• forehands
• backhands
• footwork
Red Ball is designed for young players ages 3-7. The program utilizes low pressure tennis balls, smaller court sizes, and smaller racquets which allows those just getting into tennis to have a greater sense of accomplishment, control, and confidence on the court.

That coachenergy makes kids like the sport. Awesome!
Coach Andre your energy and enthusiasm along with fantastic communication skills are exactly what it takes to teach this level.
Your a great example for new instructors that are just getting started.
Thank You!
Great job organizing this kids class with foam balls.
Outstanding it's a real class not orchestrated with students that are super trained. It's the issues all instructors face with their students. Super
Love how you teach students to go from static to dynamic. If they can do the movement standing still they can do it moving. Way to go.
Nice
Static to dynamic, guided practice to independent practice. Strong use of scaffolding the lesson so students can move from simple to complex.
Great class! would love to see more red ball classes from coach Andre
Thank you and glad you enjoyed the video. More vids with Coach Andre are coming soon!
@@NewRochelleRacquetClub Excellent!!! looking forward for more videos!!! 😊
SO many GREAT lessons in this for a young coach. Thank you sir.
This is awesome, thank you for sharing.
I would love to know the more previous part, teaching how to grip the raquet, how to teach the swing...
I have very little kids, 3-4 yo and It's difficult at the begining!
Felicidades!!
Gran entrenamiento.
Saludos desde Colombia.
Nice coach thanks for sharing ❤
Andre, great job. Love your enthusiasm. Wish I had you as a coach when I was little. Subscribed. ❤❤❤
Great Jon and great video. Thanks.
Great job of progression on a variety of skills, keeping them active and making it fun!
Thank you! Coach Andre is great and always makes the classes fun while teaching the basics.
This is really sweet. I played a bit of tennis in my teens, but only remember the last like 1-2 years of it. After many years I begin to appreciate the value of these kinds of lessons that were imparted on to me, I can remember them watching this even though at the time I don't remember paying attention (probably thinking about girls, LOL). But going back this is the kind of stuff that made me enjoy playing tennis.
thanks , amazing
Yes, Bounce! Lift! Yes.Way to go
Good volleys guys 🤗🧒🧒🎉🎁
great way to teach volley footwork to kids nice work
Great class and video. Keep them coming. Subscribed!

Very godo Class. Ím running my training tenis coach thank you André.
Great coach!
Coach energy for 43min. Yes!, thats red ball level😅😊
Im tennis coach this is so good. Keep going 💪 Jesus from LA
Very good very goooood
Incroyable !!! 🔥🔥🔥✅
Well done coach
The wth blue shirt. Got skills
Great focus strategy, say your name when you lift the ball.
I like it, but I noticed that there was no rallying? I think it being fun is Great. I’m a fan of having them learn to play first, hit top spin, and then teach stroke work
i thiunk the rally is essencial :) the feeling about the distance and opponent has to be build first. may be. :)
I always rally with my students
Oh my goodness kids that listen? Thought that was an urban legend
Lol I know what you mean 🤣
good jop coach
Need this with my 5yo
Great Class Coach Andre, also wondering where you get these rubber multicolored rings for the tennis training...
Wow that’s really nice!
Can I contact the coach?
Thank you 🙏🏻 ❤
Great job controling the group. But dont you think that the kids should have some control even if its at the expense of strength?
Control is a good thing to learn and teach . Picture this almost everyone no matter the age , when first started you had some type of fun and maybe alot of fun before getting instructions or learning technique
Amazing class and great teacher!! very dinamic and enthusiastic with the students!! from what age do you think it could good to program this class?? Thanks!! 😎
We think the best ages are from 4-7 😀 Ty for your wonderful comment!
Good lesson, except much of this doesn't work when there is a lefty in the group.
I would teach them open stance, they’ll be using this stance more than closed and even neutral stance.
I play tennis too ❤❤❤❤❤❤😅😅😅😮
Annnd the result is? OMG
👍👍👍👍
The “And” man?😁🤣😂
Hi, Andre! My 5 y/o boy is just getting started with tennis lessons. What tennis racket would you suggest for him ? Thanks.
Hey thanks for watching the video. However, anywhere for a 19 to 21 inch Racket can work but that could also vary on you child height and strength
pranayama essential
Great job, not Jon. Autokorr....
no es recomendable el uso de cubrebocas durante el ejercicio físico
green dot kids
Do not mess with kids that osy you.
The masks....really?
This video was shot when masks were mandated in NY. Masks are no longer required to be worn.
I laughed when they were doing high 5s while wearing masks.
Tommy, show us your doctors license, otherwise just shove a sock in your mouth.
It's frikken CRIMINAL to have these kids running around in masks. Shame on you all.
Unfortunately, at the time this video was filmed, it was a requirement in New York State to wear masks indoors. They no longer are required and we are very happy to be playing tennis all day everyday without masks.
My aunt died of Covid, so go pull your head out of your tailpipe. How many ppl died of Covid in the US? 😢😢😢
As soon as you put circles down, you lost all credibility.
What lol why?
@@DiegoMorales-by1mstennis is an open skill sport. Never teach kids in a static location. That's how you teach golf. The good coaches got rid of this approach many years ago.
@@Angler180DC Dude, these are children (beginners). Why don't you chill out. Maybe we should start them off playing like Roger Federer.
Kids playing tennis with masks ! That is a NO GO. I never did that, and i never would. 😢
At the time this video was filmed, we were required by law to wear masks indoors. Not ideal by any means, but it was the law.
Whoopdie Doo, who cares what you'd do?
a big mistake for children to wear masks when playing sports, it affects the heart very badly, because the coach should know this, but the coach is not very competent
This video was filmed when masks were required at fitness facilities in New York.
@@NewRochelleRacquetClub I understand everything that they were forced to wear masks, but in sports, plus it’s very harmful for children, as well as adults
@@Жека-ю8о ur a clown
Sounds like you're an expert, show us your PHD in virology.
