And there is a provision for a 'ghomta' to cover your head if you wish to .......
It's such a graceful thing......this 'aatpoure' style of Bengali draping.

This is beautiful indeed but not authentic or traditional. Bengali drape, which is also called 'aathpoure' is very simple, no need of any pleat , just wear like a wrap around skirt anty clockwise one and a half rounds from right side of waist to left side of waist, then pull the upper border towards right and tuck on the right side of waist. It's done, now put the pallu covering the front twice on the left shoulder. A single fold on the shoulder instead of well defined pleats will give the typical Bengali look.

Saree is the most bakwaas and difficult thing to wear! How does women go to toilet with saree 😂? Jeans top and shalwar kamiz best world clothing
You really did it well. Though this is quite a modified version as per the Bollywood style mainly, and the authentic Bengali version has somewhat broader pleats and the inner portion of the saree is thus visible, but personally I think for a non-Bengali or even a modern Bengali girl this modified version this is pretty nice as the original one is somewhat shapeless in cases. Good work there!
