- He came, he sang, he recorded. Congressman MANNY "Pacman" PACQUIAO, boxing's No. 1 pound for pound fighter inside the ring is becoming a hit machine outside the ring. His remake of the Dan Hill-penned hit, Sometimes When We Touch, which was released on April 28.
Whether he is a good singer or not, 20 years from now, people will remember that a boxing legend once sang this song.
and after the song, Danny turns to Manny and says: Pilipino! 😊
7 years later and I just remembered this one.

Actually I might agree with you on that. Had met a guest at one of our bars who loves singing ballads at the karaoke machine. A bit cringy but nobody dares say anything. He tells you details about the songs and the artists and says it helps him calm down and escape reality. We found out later he's a contract killer and an old time Triad member from HongKong. Nice guy though.

I wonder how this would sound in his native language. I've heard lots of songs that were sung in Spanish, Russian, and German that came out even more beautiful than the original hits. Manny does have a decent voice, better than some of the trash on the radio for sure. It's good for him to be able to sing with one of his heroes, few if any of us would've turned down that kind of opportunity given the chance right?
