    Rich--your videos are awesome! I especially want to thank you for patiently explaining step by step how to separate the nosegear steering from the rudder: I just did that with my newly rebuilt fuselage, and it works like a charm!

    The F-16 Eflite version I got last week came with an AR631 receiver. Just to mess with me, they put a capacitor into Channel 6. I had to message the smartest person I know in RC, Lori @ Merry Boozer. (I got Wes instead) Wes said yank out the capacitor if you want. I wanted to try your tip having the rudder and front gear on different channels.
    On the ix12 I’ve got the bottom sliders, so the “right slider” for nose gear straightening was a no-brainer.
    WORKED PERFECTLY!
    I owe you a Pabst Blue Ribbon, or a Falstaff when we meet. I’ve struggled like hell with the Twin Otter on Floats lately taking off, so that’s the next to do the splitting of channels on the front wheel/rudder and the right slider. Thanks Rich, really good tip!

    with F-16 models, i have noticed that they like to fly. high alpha stuff seems to always track straight and where you want it and every F-16 model i have flown, feels super light in the air and loves to float.

    Very well done Sir. I test flew one for a friend. He liked how I did the nose wheel mix on my T-33 I have many of my EDF's setup this way. I hate having to play around with the linkage to adjust the steering. So I did the same as you did for him to trim the steering

    I picked up this jet last week from my local hobby store it must have been sitting on the shelf for a while and might have been a earlier batch of this jet because mine didn't come with the positive servo connections like yours, so i did the old tape to secure them. I also had almost double the amount of control surface deflection's in all the surfaces with the 100 and 70% rates it recommends, i had to adjust my servo travels down quite a bit to get the proper travel. In any case its a great flying jet!

    I love that I learned to fly 12 years ago with fms simulator, and with no stabilization systems, flew a waterplane, art tech coota , and a scary souped up art tech cessna, now with the stabilization systems I can finally easily fly jets , wich I always wanted but never tried...got a F16 falcon now...the future is great, and great video, learned alot

    It appears that many planes especially jets need the battery all the way back to get CG correct , why doesn't HH just plan for this ? AND mark the CG on the plane NO mistakes measuring then...

    Hello from Belgium , I want to buy this super jet . I’ve been watching the very well done video presentation and I have a question for you. Since the drift is stuck on the fuselage, it seems impossible to replace the drift servo if it is out of service and needs to be changed . The same for the depth , what do you think? Thank you cordially Thierry

    I want one! What is the difference between foam Tac and CA and why undo you think foam tac is better?

    • @RCINFORMER
      @RCINFORMER  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Either will work fine, I prefer Foam-Tac because it is a bit more flexible when it cures & I feel it is better on foam as it is more "Foam-Tac." CA dries as bit more brittle where foam is not. Often CA can run all over and make a mess.
