    inb4 Patch 7
    Looking for this damn clown
Wyll's last name is Ravengard. The Duke is his father.
    Neutral Evil mercenary contractors.
Oh yeah, "Sarevok". About as accurate as "Viconia".
Orin is only the favorite because the Dark Urge is dead. Were he alive Sarevok would be dissing her.

Not too far from the end of this game now, what do you make of this game? too hard? very easy? or somewhere in the middle? and did you find the game too long? too short? or just right?
Me, well i am still a long way from anywhere near the end of the game, In fact i am still at the beginning of act 2 tbh. And have stopped playing it for now. I find the game is okay, but i would of liked characters to have gotten near level 20, rather than only 12th level. But you said something about these 5th ed rules being a bit finicky and problematic.
I would of also liked the game to have focused a bit more on the open terrain rather than the city, bit like the first game, where you have a shit ton of land to explore.
Other than that, its not a bad game, Characters look awesome, the land, buildings and the city too, but, there's something i cannot put my finger on, onto why i have stopped playing, i think i just got bored tbh.
I am atm playing Fallout 2, and man! what a great game that is. Awesome story, the things you can do in the game is just unreal.
For an old game, it was well made, yes, it has a few bugs but well worth playing, and its sorta turn based combat too, a bit unusual but its okay.

I did enjoy the game, but on the surface, except for the title, there's little to compare it to the original series. The few callbacks that were there were either tokens or very poorly adapted characters. I found it challenging enough on the normal setting, what fights I had issues with were entirely due to me using poor tactics. As for the length, it's pretty decent. I would say it began to drag toward the end, but now that we know Larian will not be returning to it, it was a decent enough length to be its own encapsulated story.
Fifth edition really does break down at higher levels, so I am satisfied with the cutoff on the level cap there. Sure, it's fun to play high level characters in any edition, but in order to provide a challenge for a system already pretty much geared to let your characters live no matter what, the challenges preesnted would have had to verge seriously into the unfair territory.
I would've liked to see more wilderness content, but honestly Larian classically does better with dungeons. I feel that the dungeons at the beginning of the game were very much more well done than those in the later parts, however, which were often just intros to boss arenas.
Solid game all in all, it'll stand on its own as a classic. Maybe not as much as the original trilogy, but definitely it'll be up there going forward.
