Hopefully you've gotten some good Christmas gift ideas for the kids in your life this week! Today is the last video in my Christmas gift-guide series for 2018. I can't believe this is the last one! 😖I love all these ideas, the squishy's really are so big this year, and I have never thought of going to Marshals, I'm going to check that out because my daughter is so into that Floam stuff also.😊💚 I have the same problem with getting items to fit in the stockings.😢 I usually end up with a few tiny little things trinkets at the bottom and then I try to overstuff everything at the top and I don't wrap stocking items so they end up seeing everything all at once, which kind of deflates the whole idea.😰 I think I might start wrapping stocking gifts, like you. That is a great idea and kind of leaves some anticipation. I got that foam stuff for Christmas when I was 9 and I loved it stuff a great gift that's inexpensive
Awesome as usual! The art bag you showed at the end would really solve a problem for us. I find that when we have art supplies just loose they are hard to keep track of or find the right color. So for Christmas this year I got the Crayola art kit where it opens flat and there is a slot for each marker or crayon... but the problem is it does take up a lot of desk space... if this purchase doesn't work out for us I'll look into this wnxt

I only buy things for my son's stocking that actually fit in a normal sized stocking. Example: gift cards, body wash, toothbrush, candy, hat/gloves, small books, pencils, paint set, stuff animals... We don't wrap stocking stuffers and "Santa" fills up our stockings Christmas eve when he leaves my son's 1 gift from him. Everything else my son gets is from mom and dad and gets wrapped under the tree
This is exactly what we do! If it doesn’t fit in stocking just wrap it?
That’s what we do as well.
Carly P if you have something that is outside of the stocking is it truly considered a stocking stuffer.

I love them, too! Yes, I've seen Cake Pop Cuties but they girls don't have any of those. Dollar Tree had these little squishy things today that would also make good stocking stuffers. They aren't slow rising but they're really cute and you get 2 in a bag. Your kids might like those! Happy Thanksgiving!

Ur family is a lot different then mine, my family doesn’t eat a lot of sugar or candy because my mom is strict about having a balanced meal so in my Christmas stocking we always get candy and some other smaller things like a bath bomb or nail polish
We always give our kids 3 Christmas tree gifts, a Santa gift and a stocking filled with goodies.
Oh and the “stocking stuffers” must fit in the stocking. Great vid btw. 😊

I love how you do one every year for your kids but could you do one for your husbands. My dad is the hardest person to shop for and I love how you always find practical and realistic gifts to give. Also, I think if you did a mother’s Christmas wishlist, that would be amazing. I never know what my mom wants and I think hearing a moms perspective would really help the kids (and especially dads) out.

you could just make them all presents and not stocking stuffers. I always think of stocking stuffers as small things. I would just make the bigger things that don’t fit in the stocking her normal presents

My 5 year old granddaughter really wants a Squishy. Every time we are in a store that has them she bee lines for them. She seams to always pick up a strawberry shaped one so I think that's what I will go with. They have a really cute one in Michael's. TFS ^_^

What happened to the Yummiibear packaging? They’re an average price for a licensed branded one and packaging is definitely one of the staple things you want to keep. Certain brands can go for up to $300

My husband and I don't exchange stockings but I did do a men's gift guide video last year that you might find helpful: th-cam.com/video/iwPFW-IcHJk/w-d-xo.html The problem with doing a men's gift guide video is because my husband is so hard to shop for and always asks for things that are very specific to his hobbies, which I don't feel are very common. He's into RC cars and video games and that's pretty much it. I feel like it wouldn't be very helpful if I regularly shared what I got him for gifts. :)

Agree with you, I find it so difficult getting stocking stuffers because nothing fits. Last year I finally decided it was time for a change and bought bigger stockings. I also got new stocking holders and can you believe they are so lightweight they don't hold up a filled stocking? So my solution was to keep the stockings empty until Christmas Eve, then fill them and put them under the tree for Christmas morning. This year I will try to find a flat weight to attach underneath the stocking holders. If I can't find that it's back to last year's solution.
Did you see my Instagram story on Wednesday? I shared the stocking “sacks” that we are using this year. Everything fits perfectly!
Jolie Lutrario my Mom always hand them hung until she filled them. Santa would fill them and then sit them under the tree.

This year we are doing "sacks'" for stockings. You'll see those in Monday's video because I got tired of stocking stuffers sitting around under their old stockings that weren't big enough for everything.

No, I've never really given them candy for stockings. I guess because #1, we don't eat a lot of candy and #2, I never got candy in my stocking growing up so it didn't occur to me to give it to them. My grandparents used to put fruit in our stockings though and that was always a fun tradition we loved.

That play foam drives me bonkers! It’s messy and attracts hair and dirt but my son had fun with it....Guess that’s what matters. Lol! I love those squishies! My 10 year old says “you totally forgot to mention rabbit. No one remembers cranky old Rabbit” 😂 she wants the pusheen blind boxes but they are like $10 for a tiny cat plush. I take everything out of the package to wrap for the stocking...except the blind bags of course. I stuff that sucker with all kinds of good stuff. My Mom did it for us too. Our stocking had all kinds of good stuff like my beloved game boy when I was 8. I don’t even want to know how much my Mom spent on us every year. Doodle bear has been out for 25+ years. I had one when I was like 3 and I’m 29. I looked at those scribble things since I think she’s kind of out growing doodle bear. But they have all kinds of sizes for doodle bears. I think she had a bunny one year
