    I have a canyon DT Swiss quick release axle and thought I would need this adapter.
    Fact is, the Tacx comes with an adapter and you don't need this adaper in this specific case.

    Is the Tacx Neo 2t compatible with the Endurace CF SL Disc 8.0, the rear thru axle is 12 X 142. I have been reading about problems with disc brake bikes having problems with there not being enough clearance between the tacx housing and rear brake.

    I bought the adapter set for 120 mm disc brake axles, but when I unscrew the adapter from the side of the cassette, the same thread that you have left on the neo does not appear. what could have happened? I have no way to screw in the new adapter

    Thanks for the great video! I got my bike attached and it feels solid. The only thing I'm wondering about is if that nothing actually screws into the threads on the frame (where the thru-axle attaches) and the plug only threads onto the adapter pin, won't the weight rest on the threads in the frame, possibly damaging them?

      @alexciccone4397 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes that’s correct. You need a different adaptor called the S0040. It has threaded plugs for the drive side. It’s new. Call garmin support to ask them about it

      @@alexciccone4397 Thanks for the reply. I called support a while back and they said the T2835 should be OK and they haven't heard anything about damaged threads. It looks like the threaded version is a bit trainer-version-specific, haven't checked which version I have yet

      Dylan Pratts do you mean the inserts that go through the bike frame? If so, I’m having the same problem with my Canyon Endurace. Received my Neo 2 earlier and I’m now scratching my head, did you manage to get it sorted?

    There is some wiggle on my non-drive side of the frame, like the insert isn't snug enough. But it didn't come with any other insert.

      At this moment we do not have a solution for the RAT systems.
      There is no special adapter kit to make this compatible.

    That’s a terrible solution when several people in one household share a trainer but use bikes with both thru axles and quick release. What was once a 30-second swap now becomes upwards of 5 minutes. Surely you could have come up with a better solution, especially since owners are expected to pay €50+ for the privilege.

    If you are going through a warranty replacement let me save you some serious time and headache. The new units have a different size spindle that the freehub attaches to, and the tru axle adapter's threaded part is a different diameter. You need to make sure your old trainer's parts are the same as the new one or you will need these updated parts. (they only send the body of the unit now no extras) Edit the support staff have no f#%king clue that they are different. You'd think they would send out a memo... cutting costs maybe by sending only the body but it's sheer stupidity as it cost them way more sending 3 shipments.

    Ninguno de los adaptadores me ha valido.. Acabo de recibir los adaptadores para 148x12 y no valen! Ninguno de ellos alcanzan en anchura. Mi bicicleta cierra el Eje pasante original con una rosca y es imposible adaptar ninguno de esos adaptadores!
