Emma and Regina were meant for each other. You can tell by the way it was written. Yet they shoved each of them into crappy and generic relationships. We all know Hook would be a super toxic and abusive husband. And in the end, Regina still didn't find love which was absolutely awful for them to do to her. Regina deserved her happy ending more than anyone else.
